 It was rare for the dark brown lion to be out in the rogue lands for more than just a quick passing stroll, but there was purpose to his wanderings. Much of the food that was nearby the Ukuucha'Wafalme had already been taken by banu hunting parties, which even he had to admit were more efficient than him. He could not deny that a group of ten females on a hunt would produce faster results than himself. But then again, he would not readily admit it, either.
Powerful paws swept through the grasses, scarlet eyes glaring at the fields as he tread the grounds at a nice, fast pace. The further away he was from the pride, the bigger the beasts, as there would be some families of prey left alone to grow healthy and big - juicy enough to supply his laboring banu at home a very luxurious treat. Even he was delighted in news of his first offspring that he disregarded his natural temperament and wanted to reward Lililamuna with something special.
Despite the joy that came from the impending arrival of his first litter, there were some thoughts that almost... troubled him. He knew some things would occur in the rogue lands, but his visions haven't been as clear as before - in fact, the only thing he was certain about was that he would bring home a large bounty fit to feed his den... But that was it. He did not like that feeling; he was usually certain of everything, but now, he was for the moment oblivious to any presence that might have been near him.

With ease, Sana took down the creature, clinging onto its muzzle until it stopped squirming altogether. She was glad the hunt went rather well.
Although she was an excellent hunter by trade, there wasn’t much else she had to offer. The lioness would trip over her own tail at times in the slowest walk. The rustle of another had caught her attention. With ears perked forward, she looked around. The family of antelope (minus one) was long gone. The newbie coming was too quiet to be a hyena, or some other kind of scavenging creature. She listened, tilting her head as it came closer.

His paws took him to a higher plain overlooking a field of tall grasses; through them, he could clearly see a family of antelope. The head of the family - the father, he could point out - wasn't very large. He could barely discern it from the mother of the family, even; how shameful, he thought. The lion was naturally large, and so towered over all the females of his pride. It seemed a pity to him that a female would choose a male so lacking in power... But it wouldn't matter, anyways, he supposed, seeing a pale cream body come up from behind the antelopes. This sight piqued his curiosity, and he continued to watch, taking slow steps down the path during his observation.
He knew it was a hunt, and watched the female's movements; it was clear that she knew what she was doing by her posture and positioning. He knew she would come out reasonably successful. As she took off in a lope for the family of antelopes, he kept his eyes glued between her form and that of the father antelope... He was waiting... He watched her take down the straggling child, and then... Nothing else? Perhaps he was not used to seeing just a single target being taken, as the Ukuucha'Wafalme hunting parties always made sure to bring tons of food back home for the multitude of mouths. They wouldn't have let that family of antelopes escape. That act did tell him one thing, though... She only had one mouth to feed.
The distance closed between the two lions eventually, and he knew his presence was not unnoticed - if she was as good of a hunter as she looked to be, then she would have definitely known that he was coming. This was a good thing.
He brushed past the tall grasses, finally getting a good view of the lioness. The child antelope was still hanging in her mouth, fresh, as blood continued to drip from its body, some even on her very light coat.
"Wouldn't you say that dirties up your little light coat a tad too much?" he offered, also showing a toothy grin as his entrance.
His steps into the clearing were bold and strong, as he was quick to assume his position next to the female.
"I am Pad Akram'raja, and you are welcome for my honor."

As the lion made his appearance, Sana sighed in relief. Other lone lionesses would probably freak out by the idea of a lone male stalking up to them, and their new fresh kill; this lioness was not. Dropping the light carcass with a small ‘thump’, her blood stained maw flashed a small frown, as if contemplating. “How…do I kill something…without…getting…bloody?” Eyelids closed over her dark orbs, before focusing back on the male.
Licking her lips to rid some of the red liquid that began staying her fur, she gave him a smile. “Pad Akram’raja?” It was a rather long name, but everyone was allowed to be different and unique. The way he spoke made him sound as if he were a prince of some sorts. Remember stories about when she was a child, about the handsome princes always rescuing fair maidens and damsels in distressed. Before seeing him, she always thought they were just stories.
“I’m…Tsatsana…” she said almost dreamily, bowing her head, still intrigued by the male’s stature. Although she didn’t know if he was of such a rank, in her mind she believed it. She could just picture him strolling across the land, his coat gleaming in the sunlight. There behind him, his parents watching proudly.
After a moment of silence, she spoke quietly. “Would you…care to join me?”

The sight was all too familiar for the searching pad: bedazzled lioness dropping everything she was in the middle of to hang to his words intently (albeit a bit too literally) as well as look at him in awe. His smile grew wider as he closed the final steps that remained between him and the female. And she just accepted it wholesomely - as if she reveled in that fact, which just fed his already abnormally large ego.
Ah! And the female bowed! Despite the fact that she was from these crude lands that knew no manners or held no respect for those superior, this Tsatsana surely knew how to treat him the way he needed to be treated - as if she already knew who he was, with all his power, prestige, and influence in the Ukuucha'Wafalme.
"Raise yourself, my little dear," he commanded, thoroughly appreciating her soft gestures and submissive words, "And I will grant you that wish. As for your question, perhaps there is more to your art form that you need to learn. The day you learn how to kill without getting bloody may be the day you prove your worth to a pad."
With those words, he immediately stooped down at Tsatsana's small prize and began ripping into the hide, not even waiting for her response. In his pride, it was expected for males to get first pickings from their food, and so Akram'raja would so readily take Tsatsana's fresh kill without further hesitance.
"You had fine poise when you chased that family of antelope," he spoke, lifting his head after a few bites of the small body, "Are you from a place that trains their females to hunt so well?"
