Who: All the Labbies
What: Harvest and Halloween Party!
When: 10/15 (NOW!) - 11/15 at 11:59pm PST
Where: Red Leaf Vineyard, Barton
Why: Because it's almost Halloween!

Welcome to the Red Leaf Vineyard! Nestled near the heart of Barton's blooming wine country, Dr. Kyou has rented out the vineyard's event barn for the evening so all the Labbies can gather and celebrate the coming holiday.

There's much to do and even more to see as the barn has been decorated in a quirky mishmash of both Halloween and Harvest time. Cornstalks are tied to support beams, ghosts and bats hang down from the ceiling, a scarecrow greets you as you walk into the barn, and more; there's even a fog machine billowing vapor for added Halloween effect!

Please make yourself comfortable atop a hay bale or empty wine keg if you need a sit down, but enjoy yourself all the same! Things to do outside of mingling, dancing, and eating will be running the entire night, and who knows? You may just be able to score a special Halloween treat~

The ORP takes place on the 22nd of October ICly

What's a party without food right? Well don't you fret, because the Lab has got you covered! Three long buffet style tables have been prepped and primed for such an occasion and are covered with a bevvy of treats, snacks, meals, and other goodies as from end to end. Hot food, cold food, veggies, fruits; this thing is laden with anything and everything - so long as it has a harvest or Halloween flair. Dotting the scene are also appropriately themed decorations and if the table hasn't yet buckled from the assortment of food, then the copious addition of festive garlands, paper ghosts, black cat figurines, mini scarecrows and tiny pumpkins just might help! If you're signing up for a game you'll find the appropriate forms on a table to the left of the potluck set up. No one will be tending, so feel free to sign up as you please.

Savory Feasts
It might not be Thanksgiving, but you won't find just veggies on your plate come harvest time. Kept piping hot on warming trays you'll find everything from steak and porkchops to chicken, fish, and even venison! Hamburgers and hotdogs still apply for those who aren't hungry enough for a T-bone or a rack of baby backs.

Salad Bar
Can't have your steak without your potatoes and everyone knows salad goes well with just about everything! At the left end of the table you'll find all the fixings to make your favorite salad just how you like it. Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, heck there's even a big ol' tub of that chocolate pudding that always ends up at salad bars for no explainable reason.

Sweet Dessert Treats
There's candy as far as the eye can see at this party, but for those who aren't quite up for a chewy caramel chunk can instead drift over to the dessert end of the buffet. Cakes, pastries, ice cream, cookies, pies, brownies, custards...If it's sweet and rots your teeth, you can probably find it here.

Potluck!
There may be more food here than you can shake a stick at, but the Lab knows its Guardians and Raevans are quite the chefs in their own right! To keep with the Harvest theme of sharing the plenty, if you've got someone who can make a special dish, they can feel free to bring it to share! There's a special table set up just for the potluck next to the buffet so everyone can see. Just don't forget to collect your dishes at the end of the night.

Much Much More!
When we say 'buffet' we mean 'buffet'! Four things might have been listed above, but believe it when you're told that the tables filled with food carry much more than what's been already said. Breads, drinks, pastas, fruits, rice, soup, stew, sandwiches and so much more can be found there.

Dr. Kyou had a vineyard in mind for many reasons, but it's probably safe to assume 'for the wine' was one of them. Tended by one of the vineyard's managers, a wine tasting counter has been set up to the right of the barn in a stall so you can sample the contents of one or several of Red Leaf's signature wines. Grape-based is a given, but there are several fruit wines offered as well. Never been to a wine tasting before? Never fear! Your sommelier is well versed and will happily guide newbies through the motions. Be warned though; this is a clean establishment so prepare to be carded. No one under aged allowed!

Offered Beverages
Chardonnay
Pinot gris
Oeil de perdrix
Pinot noir
Passito
Vermentino
Sparkling wine
Dandelion wine
Blueberry wine
Apple wine
Pear wine
Raspberry wine
Strawberry wine

Fruit? Bah! This is Halloween and we want candy! A large, wading pool sized tub sits off to the side, filled with water and many partially submerged Ziploc bags. What's inside each one? Well a rock to weigh each one down, but you'll only find out what the rest is when you dunk your face in! Don't worry about the pool running dry either - it's constantly being restocked when one of the Lab Staff sees it low.

Back again for another year is the one, the only, the Dunk Tank! Situated off to the right side of the barn, this game is certainly hard to miss even in the decoration and food filled party. The tank is massive, filled with water, and making a slight mechanical hum that can still be heard over the music filtering through the place. Until the game starts it will be empty, but who is being dunked? Why the Lab's very own staff of course! Alex, Dr. Kyou, and Zeke have all volunteered to have their dryness threatened by Labbies wielding baseballs. The twist to this? All three will be sitting in the tank in costume!

You can't have a Halloween party without a perfectly good costume contest! Among the sign up sheets for games are entry forms for the Lab's own costume contest. To make things fair, the staff have decided to hold two at once! One for the Raevans and one for the Guardians and non-owners. Everyone has a shot so long as they fill out that form and put it in the proper box on the table. Before the party is over, two winners will be picked and they could each receive a special prize.

((Arriving ))

The crunch of newly fallen leaves beneath Zeke's shiny black dress shoes as he and Anastacia made a quick beeline to the event barn was invigorating, but not as much as the cool evening air after such a lovely fall day. There was the barest hints of a breeze through the vineyard and surrounding trees and had he not been rushing to get his Raevan into the heated barn before the cold made her ill, he would have taken his time climbing the dirt trail to the well lit building a few yards away. Given it was a party and that he was fashionably dressed, being fashionably late wouldn't have been a problem in his mind. But Anya came first, and the adult male kept close by the Raevan's side even as they reached the barn doors and took their first steps inside as staff and guests of the event.

"You all right Anya?" The vet immediately asked, watching the spider queen give a little shiver and shake off the cold as she removed herself from the vicinity of the doors. She had given a slip of tongue earlier because of his extremely out of ordinary appearance, but now she remained silent again - more so to take in the scene they had just walked into than anything else at the moment.

They had been here earlier, of course, helping to set up this thing. Well, that would be a half truth. Zeke was here helping to set up this thing, while the spider queen lounged around and watched, barely taking interest into what the Lab Staff and their Raevans were doing. Lifting, she decided, heavy or not, was not her thing and the staff seemed to be getting along fine without her. In fact, they had. Now that the day had become evening, everything looked better than it had in the day. Lights were on and sparkling, the fog machine billowed a thick curl of moisture around the end of her ribbon and Zeke's tidy shoes, music played over everything, and in the dimmed light most everything - from food to decoration to games - had an eerie shadow to it.

She wasn't impressed by any stretch of the word, but even she had to agree that to some degree it was...nice. A little more than okay, even. Had she not still been ignoring her guardian for his transgressions last month, she believed she would have considered giving him a clap. Not on the shoulder of course, just a clap of her hands. Once. But given the circumstances, she continued to ignore him and instead slipped farther inside, eyes turning over everything that wasn't lost in her always present fog.

Since he was ignored again, Zeke sighed, but like the Frei turned his attentions to the building. Immediately his eyes lit up beneath his now uncolored bangs and a grin spread across his face which had been removed of all his piercings. Whereas Anya had decided on nothing but a faux fur boa and wearing her hair without her bun for a "costume", Zeke went all out. Gone were the bright colors of his hair and shiny metal piercings in his face and ears. Instead there was au natural hair color and a face pecked with small pinhole punctures and very light discoloration where the rings and bars had been. His usual colorful attire had been left at home for the evening as well and Zeke's costume was a neat and tidy black three-piece suit, complete with a red handkerchief in his breast pocket that served as the only color on his person other than his eyes. Topping it all off was a careful, neat styling of his now black - and unhappily for him white-kissed - hair the vet thought he looked suave. Definitely different for sure, and he couldn't wait to see some old friends to see their reactions to his one night transformation.

For now however, since it seemed he hadn't been late at all and most were yet to arrive, the vet stepped inward after his Frei, fully ready to immerse the both of them in the Halloween spirit; Lab-style. First thing was first of course: checking on Anya and getting the Frei's chilly weather effects so they could be hung in the coatroom for her. She might be floating around as bold as brass now but he wouldn't know for sure until he got a good look.

((Arriving))

Halloween was fast encroaching on what had been a beautiful spring.

While Genie held the holiday in a certain esteem, it was the weather she preferred to most other seasons. Not muggy or unbearably hot, and not quite so cold that a nice hot cider wouldn't warm her right up. The trees became scratchy and autumnal, the path strewn with leaves. A crisp bite of cold entered the air that gave her gooseflesh, and steeped her excitement.

Shivering beneath a floor-length coat of musty, moth-eaten furs, Basil looked massive beside her. Only Genie knew the truth of the lean, serpentine shape underneath with his wide shoulders and long hands. His unruly facial hair and sunken, sleepless eyes. With his casual posture sinking underneath the weight of his ensemble, he had taken on the appearance of a half-beast. An unfortunate village-person damned to walk the earth as an in-between. She wasn't sure whether to broach him as a werewolf to others, though it seemed as appropriate as anything else. She touched the tail of what may have at one time been a raccoon. That was always the most gruesome part of these coats... The tails dangling down in the strangest places like someone's awful idea of a tassel where tassels did not belong. She knew the coat was not a fake, but in fact entirely authentic. Some ragtag ensemble of various animals that may have one-time been very glamorous. Raccoons, ermine, beaver-pelt? Harriet had kept many strange and rare curios in the little room behind her office. A veritable treasure trove of history that Genie loved to investigate when the circumstances were right. When she had come to ask for her help in picking out something for Basil to wear to his first Halloween party, Harriet hadn't seemed entirely confidant in remembering where she had obtained such a hideous, politically incorrect outfit. She had only known that it worked for him. Genie thought back to the ghost stories she had heard of such mysterious artifacts. Perhaps the coat was cursed. Perhaps it had belonged to some seedy, misanthropic heiress that had never known an ounce of love or empathy in her short life before being violently murdered in her upstate penthouse. And now the tragic nature of her demise was passed on to her boy. Her sick, simple-speaking boy. When she had draped it over his shoulders, and he had groaned under the sheer weight of it, she had taken a step back to see how it looked. Admire her handiwork. Somehow, something seemed to be missing. And then... she had asked him to hiss. To show her his teeth, and the costume was complete.

The teeth had been a beautiful touch, and fully organic. (She could only imagine the night they would have been in for if she had tried to show him the wonderful world of dental adhesives.) However, she acknowledged that a hiss would have been inappropriate— more vampire-esque. Basil lacked the certain je ne sais quoi that came attached with the decision to be a vampire for Halloween; Dracula was James Bond with fangs. James Bond, Basil was not. She had instead asked if he could mimic the sound of something more dog-like. Maybe a lion's roar if it served. And sure enough, he had been able to utter such beastly sounds as to make every animal in the adjoining apartments go batty.

She sidled alongside him, holding his arm. She knew that the coat had been a good choice, both practically, and ceremonially. He would be adequately warm in such a coat, and already she could feel her inner arm sweat where it hooked with his. She adjusted the skirt of her dress, picking a bit of lint from her pantyhose and praying her press-ons wouldn't create a run. There might have been a time when Genie would have used Halloween as an excuse to dress in something skimpy. Something revealing and eye-catching before a regrettable night of shady doings. But now, with the passage of time, she had lost that certain part of herself, and she let her dress do most of the talking. She was not dressed as anything in particular, if not a relic from a bygone era where zebra print passed for an acceptable dress pattern. It was an outrageous thing she would never dream of wearing casually, and shuddered to think it had come from a time where people did and would. Underneath were bright blue pantyhose that snugly fit inside sensible red flats. If she were to give in to a colour of vanity, she had to admit. Her legs still looked great in hose.

She wrinkled her nose at the perfumy smell of grapes. She had never once been to a real, honest-to-goodness vineyard before, but squeezing Basil's arm that much tighter, she supposed this would be a nice night for firsts. It had not been without certain difficulties however. Out of an inability to identify them, Basil had accidentally drifted straight into a patch of brier on the way to the party faster than Genie could have called out to stop him. As they navigated the lonesome pathway towards the barn, basking in a pale glow with the moon behind it, he nursed the small p***k-marks on his wrists and hands while Genie occasionally groomed through the furs to look for thorns and nettles.

(( Cruz & Anita -- Arriving ))

In the cool evening air of Autumn, their breaths puffed out in small white clouds and curled toward the steadily darkening sky. The moon was already out, a waning crescent and large at that, colored a harvest gold and large against the sky which was working on surrounding it with clouds but not entirely snuffing out its bright light.

A pale hand waved to the driver of a dark green station wagon before shutting the door with a resounding thunk which echoed easily across the quiet vineyard. A hatchet was swung over one shoulder as a figure clad in a red flannel shirt rolled up to the elbows approached a figure clad in a long red hooded cloak accentuated with ribbons. The one in red was reaching into the backseat, pulling out a large wicker basket covered by a white cloth. It was gently hooked over an arm, fingers only partially covered by cut-off gloves with long nails curling around the side of the basket protectively. The other door was shut by the one carrying the ax and a chuckle left both figures as their ride went in reverse down the dirt road before turning around.

"You think they'll like the cookies?"

A firm nod was given by the one clad in red, a bright smile curling their lips. A loose green ponytail hung from the side of the hood, a white ribbon tied just around the tip as it escaped over their left shoulder.

The woodsman held a hand out to little red riding hood and a larger, clawed hand was placed delicately in the palm. The two journeyed down the dark and lonesome path toward the large barn and the closer they got the more they took notice of the ominous fog looming out of the open doors. They also took notice of two unfamiliar silhouettes standing off to the side, seemingly having left a brier patch as one was plucking stickers off of the other but it was easy for them both to tell one of the figures was a Raevan, and a Frei at that. Unfortunately, with the cookies time couldn't be wasted; even with the time it had taken to drive out to Barton from Gambino they were still warm and if they could let a few people grab some before they got cold then it would be worth it.

Green eyes peeked out from beneath the shadow of the red hood, locking on to the dark figure that was the cobra Frei. They memorized certain details, finding his appearance and wings interesting, and deciding that this Frei would be approached later if given the chance, unless said Frei did not approach him first. Fin-like wings shuddered with excitement, though quickly curled back against the silky red fabric in an effort to keep warm.

"I think this is where we're supposed to put 'em..." a female voice spoke from a mouth dotted with fake scruff, which seemed to have been drawn on with eye liner. Curly brown hair was pulled back into a low and somewhat frizzy ponytail, bangs hanging in her hazel green eyes. Torn up jeans hugged her hips and were hidden beneath tall work boots halfway down her shins. The thickness of the flannel shirt hid her bust somewhat, but there was no hiding Anita's true gender.

Cruz, on the other hand, pulled off the feminine role surprisingly well even if it was unintentional. Truth be told, he actually didn't know a thing about the story of Little Red Riding Hood, didn't know how Anita's costume tied into his own. He had just picked it between the two costumes because he liked the look of it better and that was that, no questions asked. The mistletoe Frei's rune pulsed nervously as they approached the table. The barn seemed completely empty and it wasn't any sort of location he had seen before. It was drafty and covered with hay, but the area where the food sat was quite warm and he allowed himself to relax more once they came next to the tables.

Anita quickly went to work, uncovering the basket of 'goodies'. They had made a batch of jack-o-lantern shaped sugar cookies (complete with orange icing and black face details) and chocolate cookie bats with white fangs and eyes. They were laid out on plates, her hands quickly ridding them of the tin foil that protected them and kept them toasty. By the time the four plates were placed, Cruz's basket was practically empty, save for a very small black wolf plush tucked into the corner, but by the looks of things there were snacks and candy galore that he could fill it with and they could take home to share.

"There," Anita grinned with a hand on her hip, the other keeping the hatchet hooked over her shoulder for added effect, "What do you think?"

The crocodile Frei scrutinized the layout of the cookies for a few seconds, his lips just barely parted enough to reveal his sharp white teeth, before he reached a hand over and slightly adjusted the way a plate was facing, pulling his hand back for a moment, and then plucking a particularly precarious bat from off the side of the plate and held the tip of a wing up to Anita's mouth. Without batting an eye, she gripped it with her teeth and her companion let out a throaty rumble of a chuckle. Finally he let himself gaze around the area fully and he took note of two figures he hadn't noticed before; a black haired man dressed in a suit who was thoroughly unfamiliar, and a black clad lavender haired spider who thoroughly was.

"...Ana" he whispered quietly, drawing Anita's attention to the spider femme.

If she was here, Anita deduced, then Zeke was not far. It took a few seconds, but it dawned on her as she saw the well dressed man turn to the side. Zeke... was colorless. If that wasn't a startling Halloween costume, Anita didn't know what was.

(( Arriving || Alex --> entrance || Zul --> Food Counter ))

It felt like it'd been a long time since she'd walked side by side with her Raevan -- easily since the beginning of the year. They'd both been busy with their own projects and since Zul's growth, Alex hadn't been able to impose the rule of him staying with her to keep out of trouble. That, and the whole...saving her life thing, pretty much took out any merit she might have brought up to his previous irresponsibility. He'd matured so much since the days of lobbing fireballs at cars that almost hit stray rabbits, and though she missed her ward, she would not deny him the social freedom he craved.

The Italian was dressed at what looked to be relatively unimpressive; an orange jumpsuit with some white embellishment had arms tied around her waist, a white tank top with some black writing across the chest all she wore, a wrist wrapped in white. The only thing that really indicated she might have been wearing something unusual was the strange scifi gun held in her right hand, a messy pony-tail completing the costume. Alex had been intending to wear something more impressive (and potentially racy), but Zeke's askance for her to join the dunk-tank had fairly snuffed out those plans. Not that she minded, of course -- she still had fond memories of watching Kyou and Tsu in that tank, recalling a party years ago at the Delaran household. It seemed most of the people from then were no longer around - even the house was gone, now - making her heart a little heavy. She hadn't quite gotten over the year's events, but she kept her smile intact and a bounce in her step to say otherwise.

At her side floated a slightly modern-guised visage of an Egyptian God. Several inches taller than the woman, the figure was clad in what looked like a refined version of a plague doctor's mask, the long nose of the bird's face a sharp white contrast against sun-kissed skin, the eye-holes darkened by smokey glass but lit from beneath with a strange blue glow. The ibis-faced mask was sewn to a dark cloth that rose like a mane and filtered down the bare back, to forelocks capped in gold tracing down the front of broad shoulders. Above the brow of the mask, there was a modest crown that supported a grand, transparent circle held in a branch of black, the circle lit like a sun in some otherworldly means - or more specifically, the demon's central horn, cleverly disguised as the 'sun's' support. The Egyptian fare of wide necklace rested neatly to conceal the wearer's neck and collar, adorned in gold and coral with matching bracers and armbands that wrapped around formed biceps. The rest of the body was bare and exposed to the hips, where a generous swath of ivory fell to the ground, backed by an equally long train of gold that started just beneath the masculine curve of hips and ended at an tapered point at the back. A gilded belt of cerulean and gold rose to frame the male's hips and rise higher in the back, accentuating the line of his torso.

If dressing as the Egyptian God Thoth didn't give Zul all the attention he desired without revealing himself, nothing in the world would. The Sigel was extremely pleased with his disguise, concealing who and what he was -- it'd be impossible to tell if he was human or Raevan, covered as he was. The hood of the outfit even hid his horns rather impressively, falling long enough to conceal his high-set wings fetchingly, if he did say so himself (and of course, he absolutely did). Turning his mask towards Alex, he trusted his woman not to give him away. The only two Raevans he had let see him as grown were Lazarus and Rivener, the latter of which he made an effort to see far more frequently. He was certain Melisande had seen him, back when it happened...but he wasn't anticipating seeing the Muse again, much as he may have wanted to. The Sigel kept himself busy working with Brad and Neil, and as such, he hadn't seen much of anyone in ten month's time. "Have fun," he bid his caretaker farewell, his voice smooth and rich with his growth, "don't get too wet."

"Don't you take a toss, or I'll rat you out." Smiling, she waved to the enigmatic figure her ward presented as, watching him glide off with an unnerving grace. Not being able to pick out his horns or his bone-framed wings made him almost a stranger to Alex, the thought of which was more than a little chilling. Shaking her head, the video-game-guised gal immediately trotted over towards the sharp-dressed man, casting the fur-dressed male and the woman on his arm a brief glance (and subsequently missing Anita and Cruz's entrance), recognition not immediately on her features. Throwing an arm around Zeke's shoulders, she tugged the man in close to her side and kissed his cheek with affection. "If I never see you this cleaned up again, it'll be too soon, little brother," she greeted him amicably, casting him a winning smile as she ran her knuckle over his beard. "It's scarier than anything else that can walk into this joint."

Zul floated with the boneless grace of one whose feet don't touch the ground (or in his case, don't exist), his movements still emphasized by the idle sway of hips. Despite his adornments, he moved in silence, drawing one of his gloveless hands over the brightly covered cloth that presented all the food options. He wasn't hungry yet, but he couldn't refrain from delicately peeling back the tin foil from the cookies the two near by had brought, procuring one of the cookie bats with interest before gently smoothing the aluminum back into place. Pressing the treat beneath the beak of the mask where one could flip fingers in to pry it off, he took a bite of the sweet confection with a reserved smile. He recognized Anita's voice coming from the woodsman, finding her costume to be...odd, but somehow extraordinarily fitting for the feisty femme. And the one she was speaking to - a Raevan in a red hood - must have been...his gift to her.

His smile grew, but he said nothing, instead taking another polite bite of his cookie.

(( TL;DR Alex is Chell from Portal, Zul is the Egyptian God Thoth. ))

[Arriving -> Namini & Prajna: Food Counter; David: Wine Tasting]

Once the car came to a secured halt along the bumpy dirt road leading into the festival ahead, steely eyes turned to the two glistening blue gazes in the backseat and David let out a final hiss of protest, “Do I really have to wear this? I could really just drop you two off and be on my merry way. You know, go back home where my beautiful bed is waiting for me and—

Namini stuck her tongue out at her older brother before spreading her arms towards their beloved and beautifully decorated Frei, “No way David! I worked really hard to put us all together AND I even made snacks for everyone to share! You’re Prajna’s guardian too, so you got to come.

Prajna scowled and then turned to its younger owner, scrunching its nose in disgust at the demand, “No. David can really stay like. Sleep in car. Namini and Prajna have fun.

But the curly brunette shook her head defiantly and ordered both Naos out of the vehicle, to which both Frei and brother sighed simultaneously.

Sometimes, Prajna thought, this girl was just so difficult to please, though the Star was happy to be out of the small confides of the car. After closing the door, Prajna stretched out its soullessly black wings, which seemed to have a new design to them; in between some of the blackened feathers, there seemed to be crimson ones here and there, creating a kind of speckled look to Prajna’s wings, a pattern that made the feathers look almost reptilian. The new found red on its back matched the scaly turtleneck and bracers the androgynous soul was also adorning, the costume so unlike the more modern styled clothing it usually wore. Prajna shook its feathers again, unused to the new weight to them as it watched Namini crawling about the backseat of the car, taking out her trays of treats. It would offer help…but at the end of the each bracer decorating the Frei’s arms, there seemed to be three giant claws extending past Prajna’s pale fingertips, which made it difficult for Prajna to be of much help.

So the Star folded its arms behind its head and stood aside, now distracted by its exotically styled hair as well. Prajna did a last check on the spiky mohawk Namini had styled for it, still adjusting to the new shortness of its hair. At times it missed its long locks, but then it would refer back to the terribly sad expression Varun had possessed when he last visited and the Star would miss it less. Prajna also made sure that the blood red paint that extended from its hairline to the bottom of its eyes, painting the entire upper half of its face crimson, had not smudged or dripped on the way there. Would the Star have to be checking up on these things all night?

There came a small complaint from the inside of the car and then Prajna watched as Namini almost threw a plateful of brownies into David’s arms.

Stop whining, David!” Namini scolded maternally before closing the door with her hip. Prajna couldn’t help but smirk when it glanced over the two in their full glory; Both dressed as cave people, they somehow pulled the rugged, ancient look off very well. Namini had put her tight curls up into two odangos, with flowers around them and wore a one sleeve leopard dress, a tattered black sash around her waist and a necklace made of bones around her neck. She looked quite adorable for a character that was known to be brutish and dirty. David, on the other hand, seemed rugged enough… but definitely in a model kind of way. The man had been forced to wear a headband that had fake bull horns protruding from the sides, his jet black hair sticking up from behind it like burnt leaves. His torso was also adorned in a similar manner to Namini’s, except that, instead of having a leopard print dress, his lower half was covered by a long loincloth-type skirt that came to his knees, also with a black sash around his waist, and his chest was almost completely bare, aside from a faux brown animal vest he wore open, exposing his athletic build. Together, the Naos looked as if they had just stepped out of some History channel discussing the prehistoric era.

Finally Namini flashed Prajna one of her trademark smiles and asked, “Ready to have some fun Prajna?

The dinosaur nodded enthusiastically and then followed its guardians over to the main event table, where a few newcomers were also walking over to. Prajna’s bright cerulean eyes clashed so intensely with the ruby face paint that it hoped a familiar face, like Vyn or Varun, would be able to immediately recognize the Star through its eyes alone. There wasn’t much else to really go off of, with the way Prajna was so exquisitely dressed. The spunky redhead spotted a few Freis, noting their ribbons and wings, but the faces were new and unappealing to it. Unbeknownst the Star, it had just glanced over Basil, its newest ally, though the Cobra had been so darkly clad, Prajna thought perhaps it was some new Raevan, boring to the Star tonight. Namini and David approached the table and placed their goods alongside the others, the younger of the Naos immediately impressed by the assortment, “Look guys! They have everything! Don’t let anything go to waste~!

Namini giggled excitedly but David was unamused. He hoped no one would notice him in this ridiculous get up; He didn’t even want to be here but… Namini had weaseled him into this. Unwrapping a few plates of brownies and cupcakes that were made to look like mashed potatoes, turkey legs, and peas and carrots, David looked up and spotted something more his style down the table. With an affectionate pat, the older Nao separated from the group, heading to the wine tasting portion, “If you need me, I’ll be drinking the night away.

Namini pouted but let her brother go off, knowing full well he was probably much too old and disinterested in things like bobbing for apples and stuffing one’s face with candy. Namini turned and regained Prajna’s attention, “Let’s try not to cause too much trouble tonight though, okay?

She smiled again and Prajna couldn’t help but smirk, giving its appearance the ultimate velociraptor type of smugness. Trouble was all Prajna knew…
