Since Starborn was thinking about splitting up, Krylaris had been told by her parents to go exploring the outside world. If the tribe did fall then she might be exposed to the world, and she needed to know how different it was from tribe life. So far, it was rather boring. But that could be because she was flying around and hadn't encountered another fox since Genesis. But that had been back in her homeland. Strange that it had only been a week since then.
Curious how her mind turned back to the vixen, but she had been intriguing if nothing else. Though once she helped the vixen out of Starborn she had never seen her again. She hoped that she had made it down the mountain safely. But as capable as Genesis was, she was sure the vixen was fine.
Deciding that her wings were slightly tired from the flight, she decided to land in a small field, folding her wings on her back as she looked around. It was a decent enough looking field, though she still missed the gardens of Shambala. That was one of the things she would miss the most.

Tony was bored. And totally lost beyond reckoning, not that he'd admit to that particular fact. It was part of the guy code that you always knew where you were and that you were never lost. Trying out a shortcut, maybe, but not lost.
"I hate the wilderness," he moaned to himself, looking forlonely around the trees. "Not a scrap of civilized amenities, no hot chicks, and bugs determined to make you into dinner. Why the heck did I come to this place, anyway?"
Well the why was easy enough. After meeting Alli she'd just vanished on him. Since she was totally smokin', and she came from the forest, Tony had reasoned that there might be a few more good-lookin' girls living just at the edge of the city. And he thought he hadn't gone that far, but after a week of wandering and seeing nothing but trees, it was getting to the point of desperation for him. He'd welcome anyone at this point, just as long as there was someone to talk to!
Ahead of him Tony noticed that the green light of the forest was thinner, almost the white color of normal light. A break in the trees? Perhaps he was finally back at the city! "Ha hah! Knew I couldn't be lost!" He rushed forward and broke through the trees...
And right into a field.((Oh, they're at least a week's walk away from the city. Tony is really lost XD ))

Slowly the vixen turned to the sound of approaching footsteps, not feeling threatened by the sound by more intrigued by it. It meant something was coming closer, and she was hoping that it would be something that she could talk to. After her long journey she was craving some contact with another lifeform. Though she was completely unprepared for the male that burst through the break in the trees. He had looked excited, but then his face became more forlorn. Had he been expecting something else besides a field?
Looking him from head to toe, she had to admit to herself that he was an attractive enough creature, interesting markings on his fur. But it was his blue eyes that struck her the most. She loved eyes, and blue was her favorite color. So the stranger's blue eyes were very alluring to Kryl that she couldn't help staring into them.
"Hm..." She tilted her head to the side.

Tony looked around in mild bemusement. "Oh, come on," he said to himself loudly, exasperated. "Really? Just how much more of this nature stuff do I have to take?!" He swatted in vextation at the grass in front of him, the momentum of the swing actually carrying him a few inches and bringing something very colorful into his peripheral. Color? There was nothing out in this place but loads of greens and browns!
He turned his head to get a proper look, and froze. If Alli had been smokin', this Phim was a blazing fire! His eyes flicked in a full body scan, not so quick that it wasn't noticable but quick enough that most were surprised at how much detail he picked up from it. Like that subtle yellow glow she gave off, that was quite interesting.
Tony cleared his throat and put on his most charming smile. "Hey there," he called boldly out to the female. "You wouldn't happen to know where the city is would you. Took the sceneic route, it's taking longer than I though to get back." He gave her a flirtatious sidelong glance. "Maybe we could head back together, I could steal you some Chinese food. There's this vendor on 9th street, makes a killer mu shu pork."

City? Krylaris looked at the male slightly confused. She hadn't seen anything resembling one while she was in the air, so his 'scenic route" must have gotten him more lost then he thought. Though if he was anything like her father then he would never admit that he was lost. She almost rolled her eyes, what was it with men and never admitting the obvious.
"Hello." She responded to his greeting with a smile of her own. And while his leering gaze drifted down her body she couldn't stop the shiver that raked up her spine. "Mm...." Where had that come from? Kryl had never responded to a look in such a bizarre manner. Maybe she was coming down with something.
"I am afraid I do not know of this city you are searching for. I apologize." Her cheeks flushed with color as she averted her eyes. Yes, she was definitely coming down with something. Must have gotten a fever. Yes that was it.
"9th street.....mu....shu?" Kryl cocked her head to the side as she stared at him puzzled.
(tony is so lost lol...and kryl is going to be so confused about the concept of a city with vendors and people)

"You know, 9th," Tony prompted. "Between 8th and 10th, intersects Brook Avenue. I mean there's not actually a brook so the name doesn't make much sense, but you can't expect a lot from humans."
He gave her another of his charming smiles, and tossed in a wink for good measure. It was an example of how his brown fur worked to his advantage, since it make his eyes seem that much more blue to vanish and suddenly reappear among the muted color.
"I don't really know what the mu shu stands for either, but whatever it is it's awesome. Seriously, I'll steal you a carton and you can find out. Then there's the theaters in the city, we could eat and watch humans running around in silly outfits for entertainment. You like theater, right?"
((XD Well it's certainly amusing.))

Kryl cocked her head to the side, "You might as well be speaking another language because I have no idea what you are talking about." She smiled politely at the male. Honestly, what in the world was he babbling on about. At first it was pretty obvious that he was talking about locations, though she had never heard it explained in quite that degree. But then he went back to talking about mu shu, whatever that was, and cartons of it. Was it some sort of food? Perhaps, that seemed to make the most sense.
And just what the heck was a theater. By the way he described it, it seemed to be some sort of freak show.
"I have heard of the Humans, but I have never actually seen one. And I have never been to this....theater...." She took her time pronouncing it to make sure she said it right, "Nor do I know what exactly it is..." Kryl felt her cheeks heat, oh she must seem so ignorant to this male.

"Yea, you know," Tony said, cocking his head and looking at the female curiously. "Stuff you usually see in the city. Ever been to a city before?"
He'd heard of foxes that lived solely in nature, never venturing near concrete or humans in their lifetime, but he'd never thought he'd actually meet someone like that. After all, the city was where he spent most of his time.

"Oh no..." Kryl shook her head, "I have never ventured far enough from home to see a city. This is the furthest have ever been from home before." The phim cocked her head to the side as she examined the fox curiously.
"Would you take me into the city so I can see what it is like? I have always been curious about it." She smiled, wings folding comfortably on her back. "Oh that is granted you can find the city. You are lost aren't you?" She frowned, "Maybe I can fly up into the sky and see if I can find out which direction to head in. I'm sure you are anxious to be home again, right?"
"Oh..." The phim blushed, "Where are my manners, I have forgotten to introduce myself. I am known as Krylaris. It is certainly a pleasure to meet you Sir."

"Lost? I'm not lost," Tony said, voice amused and totally confident. "The city's over in that direction, I just thought I'd take a scenic route, get close to nature. Love nature, can't get enough of it!" He took a deep breath of air, perhaps a tag overexaggerating his enjoyment.
Of course all of it was bluster and bravado. He was indeed very lost, the direction he'd pointed in was just his best guess as to where the city might be, and honestly he'd go hungry for a week if it meant he could get back to solid concrete again.
But he couldn't say that, it would be so unimpressive! And this girl, Krylaris, she seemed to love nature. Had to to be living in it for so long. No, Tony was just putting on a huge show in hopes of impressing a very gorgeous girl.
"Name's Tony, short for Anthony," he said cheerfully, winking one of his bright blue eyes at Krylaris.

Krylaris looked at him at him puzzled. "Tony is a very strange name." She commented calmly as she watched the male, he seemed to be bursting with energy. That or he just liked to talk extremely fast. Honestly he was cute. Was cute the right word? Kryl didn't think so but it was the only word that came to mind regarding the male.
"I'm known by Krylaris...but if you like you could call me Kryl...my siblings and parents do." The phim inclined her head in her form of greeting, then went back to eyeing the male. Certainly the outside world was proving to be quite different from what she was expecting.
"Well since you love nature so much, perhaps you would be so kind as to show me to the nearest watering hole. I fear that my flight has left me quite parched." She smiled at Tony.

"It's Italian," Tony said, putting on an accent that he'd heard some humans do. "Everybody knows that Italians are very romantic people." He winked at Kryl.
Her question might thrown him for a loop, but even when he was completely bluffing Tony was pretty good at improv. "Well I'm not that familiar with the nature around here," he hedged, dropping his accent and smiling charmingly. "I'm more of a city guy and this is the middle of nowhere for me. Very nice nowhere, love what they did with the place."
He kept up his charming grin throughout it all. "If the lady wants water though, who am I to deny her. Ain't a water hole born that could hide from ol' Tony!"
With anyone else the statement probably would have seemed ridiculous, though Tony said it with such confidence and with that smile of his it was impossible not to be infected by his mood. He might have been a touch eccentric, a bit egotistical, and certain was an attention seeker and a flirt, but there was kindness and a good heart underneath it all.

"Italians are romantic people...." She repeated the words puzzled. Kryl wasn't sure what an Italian was, but who was she to argue with him. Staring at the male, she wondered why he kept announcing that he loved nature. She stifled a giggle, to her it looked like he hadn't spent much time out of this city that he lived in. Maybe he was trying to be polite with her, sharing an interest that she clearly loved.
"This is a very lovely place, I agree." Kryl smiled at his good mood. This male certainly did believe in smiling a lot. "So you are an expert water hunter?" She giggled softly, even that sounded strange and she was the one that said it.
"You are by far the funniest male I have ever come across Tony." The phim smiled at him as she shuffled her wings to be more comfortable.
"So which way is it to this watering hole you're taking me too?" She grinned.

"Yea, I totally know where to find water," Tony said, voice just dragging enough that his bluff was pretty visible. "We go this way." He pointed in a random direction that seemed to have the most green stuff. "Oh, it's in there."
At some point, unless they really did hit a body of water, he'd admit he had no clue what he was talking about. Until then his pride wouldn't let him.
"I do tend to smile a lot," he said, glancing sideways at Kryl with another smile tugging at his lips. "When I've got such a pretty lady keeping me company, why wouldn't I be smiling?"

Krylaris looked at him skeptically, he didn't know where water was anymore then she did. Smiling softly, she decided not to let him know that she saw through his bluff. After all it wouldn't be polite of her to embarrass the guy after he was trying to help her. Really it was cute that he was pretending to know where he was, obviously trying to impress her.
"Alright then we shall head in that direction." She nodded her head, then felt her cheeks heating up as he commented on her appearance. She knew that that she was an attractive female, many males had let her know that. Of course most of them were ones she knew growing up so they were like family to her. So it hadn't really stuck that she was THAT attractive, merely appealing to look at for a moment.
"Thank you..." She bit her lower lip shyly, "I am flattered Tony that you find me appealing."
