Growling softly she scowled up at the tall branches of a tree, her gaze fixed on its squawking occupant. "Go away! Damn bird!" She hissed, not really at the bird, but to herself, frustration making her tone sharp. The stupid thing had been following her all day and she was heartily sick of its 'caw caw' directly over her head. Not only was it obnoxiously loud and irritating, it was driving away all the prey in the area, leaving behind only those things too large for her to tackle alone.
Sighing heavily she lowered her head and trudged a few steps, wincing when she heard the telltale flapping of wings as the irritating bird took flight to follow her. Stopping she looked up again, golden eyes narrowing. "I swear, if you don't leave me alone, I will climb up that tree and eat you instead!" The last words were yelled loudly, her tail stuck out behind her and fluffed up as her coat bristled with impatience. She was hungry and she wanted to hunt sooner rather than later.
