River Stone is very shy due to her lonely life. Her depressing personality often makes other leave her, thus causing River to not know how to hold a conversation for a long while, although she desperately wants to change that. She is very kind and would do anything to please another, just wanting to try new things with someone else for a change. Her demeanor is very foal-like, obedient and delicate. She could be easily taken advantage of.

Howl might come across as a bit stuck up but she prefers the finer things in life and will even use her good looks to get what she wants. Deep down she is a thrill-seeker but is usually too proper to show it..
