Quinn was walking around the store with her mom and her three younger sisters. They were buying some groceries to refill the fridge back home. Her younger sisters, the twins, Amy and May, were running around, chasing each other. Meanwhile, Quinn was on her smartphone, scrolling through her Twitter page as her other sister, Wendy, looked over her shoulder. After she was finished browsing through her Twitter, she lifted her eyes and pushed her glasses up. She slipped her phone back into her back pocket of her jeans and glanced over at her mom, who was browsing a large variety of meat. "I'm going to go get some chips," She declared to her sister before stalking off in the direction of the junk food aisle. Quinn walked up and down the aisle, searching the endless shelves of chips and junk food for something she could buy.

When Kuro stepped inside the supermarket store, she whipped her head from side to side, looking at the entire place. This wasn't the first time she had been here since her arrival at the Academy, but it still amazed her to see a store this large. She immediately walked to the aisle where they hold the ships and cookies and other various junk food items. She knew she shouldn't be spending her money on junk food but it has been a while and she wanted to indulge herself since she rarely eats junk food. she just believes that junk food wastes her the very little money she has; although she does thoroughly enjoy it. The dark-haired girl walked along the aisle and scanned the shelves for something she may want to buy. She wanted to buy all of them, but knew she shouldn't. She walked further down the aisle, her eyes kept on the shelves before her rather than what's in front of her. She then felt herself bumped into a body and her eyes moved from the shelves to what's ahead of her. She realized she had bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry!" She apologized with an embarrassed smile.

Quinn was looking at the choices of chips on the shelves, hand on her hip as she stared at them. Hmm... what do get... Barbecue or dill pickle..? She thought to herself. She was having a deep conversation in her mind with herself about these choices of potato chips. She was on the brink of an ultimatum until she felt someone bump into her. She immediately turned around to look at the person. Her dark brown orbs landed on a pale girl with dark hair. Wow, she's really white... She thought as she stared at the girl before her. But so pretty... Her lips then upturned into a small smile. "It's fine!" She replied. But she couldn't stop staring at the young girl before her. She looked young, maybe around her age and she was dressed casually, something like she herself would wear sometimes. But damn, was she pale. And her hair was as dark as ink... She seemed like someone who would appear in a horror movie. Quinn then smirked to herself, remembering the fact that she lives in a magic city, filled with magical beings. Of course... Idiot.... She then began to wonder if this girl went to Amaterasu Academy; Quinn was attending that school and this year would be her first.

Kuro looked at the girl before her and smiled at her reply. From her features, she looked of Asian ethnicity and maybe around her age; Although her stature was of a middle schooler's. Kuro then turned slightly so she can have a good look at the shelves of chips. "So are you trying to buy something too?" She asked the girl, referring to the various junk food items before them. Kuro cocked her head and placed her hand on her hip, gazing at the shelves. "I'm not sure of what to get..." She said admittedly, then turned her head to look at the girl, a small grin on her pale face.

Quinn kept the small smile on her face as she looked at the girl before her. At her question, she turned to look at the food items. "Oh... yeah..." She said in reply. Without much thought, she grabbed the bag of dill pickle chips off the shelf. She looked at the pale-faced girl. "I'm just going to get this one.." She said, clutching onto the bag of Lay's flavored potato chips. Maybe I should give her a recommendation... She thought to herself as she glanced over at the chips, then back at the girl. "Dill pickle and sweet barbecue are some good ones..." She offered. "But they don't come in the family size.." She then added. She glanced at the bag of chips she was holding then at the shelves again. Quinn then reached out to grab the dill pickle chips. No doubt her sisters would want some as well, and one bag of chips wouldn't suffice.

Kuro glanced at the girl with the glasses, then at the shelves of chips. Kuro didn't have a favorite flavor of potato chips since she rarely eats them. Honestly, she didn't know they existed until approximately one year ago. But she liked them nonetheless and enjoys all the flavors she had tasted thus far. She glanced at the bag of chips that the girl was holding in her hand. Sweet barbecue? She never had that one before; nor had she had dill pickle. These were some odd flavors... Kuro grabbed the sweet barbecue flavor and looked at the girl before her, smiling. "Thanks for the recommendation! I never had this flavor before so let's hope it's good!" She said rather cheerily.

Quinn looked at the girl's pale arm as it shot out to grab the bag. She then looked at her pale face, nodding tersely. "It's no problem," She replied. She looked upon the girl's smiling face and confident exterior. The girl before her was absolutely gorgeous, something Quinn always wished she could be. She must be really confident and sure of herself if she's talking to complete strangers... She thought to herself. She then heard a couple of familiar voices call out her name. She whirled around and saw that her younger siblings, May and Amy, were running towards her. "What is it?" She asked the twins, her voice changing to a familiar tone that she always had when speaking to people she was comfortable around. Quinn glanced at the two bags of chips that she was holding in her hand. She gave the twins the two bags. "Here, go put it in the cart," She ordered. "Okay!" The twins both said as they each took a bag and ran off to their mother, where the cart was. Quinn turned to look at the girl again. "I should be going now... Bye.." She said with a momentary smile before turning on her heel and stalking off after her siblings.

Kuro smiled at the girl, but her smile faded when she saw two little girls that appear to be around the age of six or seven run up to the girl. She watched as the girl talked to them and the twin girls took the potato chips from her and ran off. She smiled again as the girl turned back around to face her. Kuro opened her mouth, ready to say how adorable the twins were until the stranger said she had to leave. Kuro's smiled faded again as she nodded. "Oh okay, bye then!" She said, waving to her, her smile reappearing for a moment. Once the girl was gone, Kuro turned and left the junk food aisle, heading off to another aisle. She was halfway there when she remembered that she might need a little buggy or cart or whatever it was that people called it. Kuro headed to the front of the store and grabbed a cart. She placed the potato chips into the cart and then pushed the cart back to the aisle where she was heading.

Quinn continued shopping around the store for a approximately thirty more minutes before her mother finally decided that they got all they needed and it was time to leave. Her mind then wandered to the pale girl with really dark hair. She never even got her name, but the stranger seemed nice. And if she did happen to attend Amaterasu Academy, then she hoped the two would see each other again and become friends. Quinn thought about how nice it would be if the two were friends. She momentarily smiled to herself before returning to her stoic nature. She moved a strand of hair away from her face and followed her mother to a free register. She helped put the items on the rolling-counter-thing and then helped place the bagged items into the cart.
Almost out the door, she turned around and tried to see if she can spot the stranger-girl she met. When she didn't, Quinn just mentally shrugged it off and left with her sisters and mother.

Kuro went to several different aisles to buy the necessities she needed. She threw an abundant amount of ramen cups into the cart, as well as bread, various fruits, and water bottles. That was how she basically survived the past few months she has been living in the city with her meager minimum-wage income, with lots and lots of ramen cups. It was no big deal to her; back when she was traveling around Japan and living in the small village with the old elf, all she ate of rice and whatever else they had to accompany the dish. It didn't matter to her what she ate, as long as she’s keeping herself full and healthy. Her usual smile plastered on her face, she went around the supermarket, collecting these necessities and placing them into her cart. After she was finished, she headed to the registers and randomly picked one with the shortest line. On her way there, she saw the girl with the glasses she was talking to earlier leave the store with her family. She smiled wearily to herself. She wished she had sisters or others to be around all the time. She wished she had a real family. Banishing these negative thoughts from her mind, Kuro went ahead and bought all the groceries, paying for them with her money. After she was finished doing all of this, she exited the store with four bags of groceries in her arms. Kuro then made her way back to her dorm to put these groceries away.

Takuya entered the grocery store and looked around. This was his first time at the place so he wasn't sure what to expect. It was large. He saw people with carts if groceries so he did the same and got a cart too. He wandered through the aisles, looking at his list to see what he needs first.

After wondering around the city for a couple of minutes before finally deciding to ask a stranger directions, Roscoe eventually ended up at the supermarket. The really, really large supermarket. In all honesty, he has never been shopping before. Well, once, but it was with his mother and she knew where all the aisles and products were held at. Roscoe, on the other hand, did not. And now he is standing there, at the entrance, looking all kinds of confused as he looked left and right. He stared at the other people that entered the store, noticing that they all rolled around some metal cart thing that had their stuff inside. So Roscoe did the same. He took one of those rolling metal cart things and then set off into the depths of the supermarket. He walked, peering into each aisle, hoping to find the aisle he needed; which was food (Human and cat). He was so busy looking at each aisle that he didn't recognize that his metal cart thing had bumped into someone else's. He averted his attention to the person he did and saw that it was a boy, probably around his age, with white hair. "O-Oh! Sorry about that," He apologized with a sheepish smile as he retreated a couple of steps.

Roscoe nodded at the boy when he accepted his apology. He was about to go off again and continue searching for the things he was searching for until he whipped his head from side to side. He honestly did not know where he was. Well, he knew that he was located in the supermarket, but where exactly? He wanted to ask the boy if he had a map of the supermarket, but then he thought, Do supermarkets even have maps? Wait... How big is this store?! What if I get lost in here?! Then Yoko wouldn't get his food and he's starve! Roscoe began to silently panic inside his mind. He looked at the boy and calmed down. He could simply ask for directions. "Do you know where the cat food is located?" He asked the white haired boy, wondering if he knew anything about the store or was he just as lost as he was.
