She first felt that she was being watched not a street away from her house. A quick glance behind her told her that there was something crouched in the bush of a random neighbor's yard. Her eyes narrowed, and she sprinted behind a house across the street, pulling open the fence latch and closing it carefully behind her. Castille transformed, becoming Super Sailor Grus, and leapt over the back of the fence, away from the youma. a quick skirt around, and it would be none the wiser. She jumped from bush to bush, until she could see the dog shaped thing in the neighbors yard. It's eyes were glowing with a dull red ember, and when it caught a whiff of her it turned, mouth agape and marketing shiny white fangs. The dog youma growled menacingly, and jumped upon her.
But Grus was ready with a piece of wood she had found in some guy's yard. A 2x4 hit the youma across the face, knocking it to the ground with a yelp. Her wrist protested being twisted to swing; it was still swollen and bruised from her battle in the Virgo Outpost, and then it's subsaquent break in the Leo Maze. But there ain't no rest for the wicked, no no rest for her either. She kicked it swiftly, and it dusted. She watched the ashes, feeling a mixture of triumph and that uncertainty from before. Was she supposed to be doing this? Would refusing to fight make the war end?
She rolled from the neighbor's yard just as the lights came on. Someone had heard the yelp, and a show figure opened a window and peered out into the night. There was no seeing Grus, who had taken refuge behind the same neighbor's station wagon and when the window shut, and the light clicked off, she rose.
Guess it was time to patrol.
Her patrolling found her closer to downtown and the park, her favorite place at night. It was strange to see the streets below so empty, when during the day they were buzzing with people and cars. It was a nice change. She carefully massaged her wrist, wincing every now and again when her fingers touched the healed breaking point. As long as it didn't screw up her serve, then all was good.

Sailor Leto was crouched on the roof of her apartment building downtown when she sensed it. There was another Senshi nearby... But for them (or for her, depending on how you wanted to look at it), they were of the White Moon. A deep frown set on her face as she pushed herself upwards so she was standing up straight. With a quick pop of her neck and a roll of her shoulders, Leto took off in the direction of the other Senshi.
She had every intention of doing some energy gathering nearby home tonight to avoid having to go far... But with a White Moon Senshi nearby she didn't want to take the risk. She figured she would be better off making sure that the Senshi was out of commission before she went ahead with her task for the evening.
She hopped from rooftop to rooftop- a skill that still surprised her every single time she did it- until she finally ended up within the Senshi's direct vicinity. Unfortunately there were no mirrors nearby for her to easily travel through, so this would have to do.

At first the strange signature didn't register with her. She had never felt anything like it before, so her mind ignored the persistent ping that went off in a monotone rhythm. Only when it got louder and more urgent did Grus recognize that it was something unfamiliar. Not like anything she had felt before..
She leapt up onto a dumpster, than a rooftop, scanning the dark horizon. The signal was coming from her right, and she almost twisted into the character coming at her. "Holy! --" she said, twisting out of the way. She landed roughly on the rooftop, pushing herself up to stare at the new person.
"Who......what are you?" she asked, backing away a couple of steps.

Leto took a few steps towards the other girl.
"My apologies... I didn't mean to startle you." She smiled at her, her deep red eyes sparkling with excitement.
"You sure do have a lot of questions. To start with, I am Sailor Leto."
She looked the girl up and down slowly, sizing her up.
"If we're playing 20 questions, then I think it's only fair we go one for one. Your name?"
She crossed her arms over her chest, her right eyebrow quirking upwards as she waited the girl's answer. While she may have been a Dark Mirror Senshi, she had no intention of attacking anyone unprovoked. At this point, she would settle for scaring the girl and trying to talk her into a meeting with Ares and her mirror.

Sailor Leto. She was a Sailor Scout?
"You..don't feel like a Sailor Scout." She remarked, keeping her guard up. But Leto didn't feel like a Corrupt either, so Grus was at a loss as to what sort of order she was from. "I'm Sailor Grus." she continued on to say, crossing her arms in a similar fashion. She wasn't use to coming across such a straightforward person.
"20 questions huh? Alright well then, your definitely not an Order senshi. So what kind of senshi are you?"

"I don't feel like a lot of things," Leto said through a broad grin on her face. "But tonight is your lucky night, Sailor Grus. Tonight... You get to be enlightened. Tonight, you get to meet a Dark Mirror Senshi. And tonight... You have the opportunity to become one of us."
She winked at the other girl before saying "Leto Camoflage Illusion" and immediately disappeared. While she wasn't entirely invisible, it was dark and she was able to blend into her surrounding with ease. She slipped up behind the other girl and whispered in her ear.
"You're all lost... Every last one of you White Moon Senshi. And I plan to change that." She wrapped an arm around Grus' neck and tightened her grip in an attempt to choke her, her mirror shard in her opposite hand.

Enlightened? What the heck did that mean?
"Dark..Mirror....?" She couldn't finish her question before the camouflage girl disappeared. Her arms went up in a defensive position but a voice from behind accompanied with an arm around her neck. Her hands immediately went to the arm around her neck, and she tugged at Leto. Her eyes traveled from the Dark Mirror Senshi to the glass in her other hand, just visible to Grus. Her heart beat quicker as she struggled. this crazy chick was gonna kill her!
"Let me go!" She strained to say, pulling on Leto's arm further, attempting to get space to breathe. She thrashed wildly, arching her back and kicking her feet behind her.

"Shhhh..." Leto whispered to Grus. Slowly, the Dark Mirror Senshi started to shimmer back into existence. She growled low in her throat when the other Senshi began to thrash in her arms and finally released her grip around her neck when she was kicked in the ******** brat." She winced as she tried to walk off the pain in her leg.
"I'm not trying to hurt you," she said through clenched teeth. "I just need you nice and quiet and complacent while I drain your energy and turn you into one of us. That's all!"
The upset look on her face turned into a hint of playfulness, almost like a cat toying with a mouse before she ate it.
She had a feeling that this Senshi wasn't going to switch sides quite as easily as she'd hoped.

This was like a terrible horror movie. She wasn't sure if Leto was going to kill her of break out the chloroform.
One of her kicks connected though, and she fell away from the now visible senshi as she swore at her. Her feet quickly found the ground and she rose back up, gasping as much needed air returned to her lungs.
"Turn me into one of your kind? No way in hell!" She said, finally getting her normal breathing rhythm back. "Why would I want to be anything near Chaos?" There was no way she would go over!
You could have your family, and so much more...
Hel's words echoed in her mind. This could be her chance... But her body jolted as if she had been struck by lightening. She couldn't! No way!
"Feather-Fall Strike!"
The cloud of feathers formed out of thin air and swirled around Grus before twisting into a ball and shooting at Leto. The feathers were flying fast enough to cause cuts. Grus didn't wait to see if her attack hit, she took off, umping form the rooftop and hiding behind the dumpster. She pulled out her phone, picking a random person without really paying attention. She sent one word in a message.
"Help."

“Because Chaos is the right side to be on, you stupid, blind White Mooner!” Leto was so ridiculously unimpressed by the bruise that was likely to form on her shin where the other girl kicked her. Why couldn’t the damn White Moon Senshi just do this the easy way so she didn’t have to fight with them? Ugh, always making things difficult. Was she that stupid when she was a White Moon Senshi? Whatever, that didn’t matter right then. What mattered was that she caught this Senshi and convinced her to join them with as little harm done to her as possible.
Leto quirked an eyebrow at the girl’s call for her attack- feathers, really? She snickered as she feathers swirled around the other Senshi, this ought to be good. And then the feathers were sent flying at Leto and she could see through the fluff that Grus was running away. Not a chance. Leto ran through the feathers that came at her, wincing as they sliced through her skin and stung. Since when did feathers hurt so damn much? ******** Senshi and their offensive magic. It was safe to say that Leto was more than a little bitter that an attack with Feathers did more damage to a person than her own attack of going camoflage.
She ran to the edge of the rooftop that they had been on and peered down into the alley that the girl must have disappeared into. She scaled down the building’s fire escape and dropped to the ground. She narrowed her eyes, trying to ignore both the pain in her shin and the cuts from Grus’ attack.
“Come out, come out wherever you are…” she called into the darkness.
Thankfully for Grus, Leto was completely clueless about the other Senshi using her phone to ask for help.

Oh she was in trouble. ohmanohmanohmanohman!
She couldn't hide behind the dumpster forever. In fact, she shouldn't be hiding right now! What kinda Senshi was she? Her heart dropped, but she knew this was a time for her to see just what she was made of. See if Polaris was right, and she would get better with time.
She stood and walked from behind the dumpster, saying "Here I am. I'm not going to join you or your kind. Chaos is a thing to be controlled, not worshipped."
Grus ran at the girl, pulling her arm back "Instead of converting me, you should be coming back to the White Moon side!"

Well, at least this other Senshi had balls. She grinned when the girl stepped out from behind the dumpster she was hiding behind.
“Controlled? If Chaos was controlled it wouldn’t be called Chaos anymore. That makes no sense.”
When Grus ran at her with her arm pulled back, Leto put her Blood Moon Court training to good use and side-stepped her. When Grus missed her, Leto grabbed her arm and twisted it and her own body so she was holding Grus’ arm behind her back.
“Why on Earth would I want to be on the White Moon side? I’ve already been there done that and quite frankly I was heavily misguided like the rest of you are.”
She narrowed her eyes and quickly raised her right knee in an attempt to slam it into Grus’ lower back.

She would miss. The one time she was ready to fight, and she missed.
Her arm went behind her back and she winced as pain shot into the socket of her shoulder. She felt like her arm was being ripped out. She gasped, trying to wiggle free. The leg in her back certainly didn't help, and the big bow on the back of her fuku did nothing to stop the pain that sliced through her spine. Grus felt her knees weaken with the blow, and she started to fall down, but her arm was still captive.
"Misguided?" she gasped out, tugging at her arm. "How on Earth are we misguided? All I care about is stopping the ones who use innocent people as energy farms!"
There were tears forming in her eyes, of anger and frustration accompanied with pain. She wanted to thrash about, but the threat of a dislocated arm kept her from doing so.
"I'd rather die than join you."

“We don’t belong here. You know that as well as I do. And it’s our job to make you White Mooners realize that our home planets are where we belong. The Earth belongs to humans and the Negaverse and Dark Mirrors are only trying to make you see that.”
Leto spun the girl around, still holding her arm and she used her free hand to throw a punch with hopes of it connecting to the girl’s jaw.
“Unfortunately for you, we don’t always give people that choice.” She grinned devilishly and tossed the other Senshi to the ground after throwing the punch.
She tugged the small sac out from her bracer and took one of her mirror shards out. She rolled the shard of glass between her fingers before holding it facing the girl and her ghost-like mirrorwraith slid out of it.
“Chaos always wins,” she said as she closed in on Grus, her mirrorwraith swirling around her.

"There's no one to go back to." She insisted, thinking of her own planet. Plenty of plants, but no animals. No people. "Show me a way to return my planet to the way it was, before Chaos came after it!"
Her rant was cut short by a rough spin and punch. Her jaw exploded in pain, and her eyes burst with tears as she cried out. The cry followed her to the ground, where she lay motionless for a while, holding her head while pain throbbed throughout.
Grus didn't see the mirror shard, or what it produced. When she blinked back the tears she saw Leto surrounded by what seemed to fog or smoke. But it seemed alive, moving not with the breeze but of it's own accord. "Am I going to die?" she thought between throbs of pain.
