The year is 2765, it has been 254 years since The War that end all wars. It is called by all just that, The War for to them now that is the only war that mattered. During this war a terrible chemical was discovered, one that was made to decimate the enemy’s entire country. When released it attacked the X chromosome in humans, killing off every female in the entire country, leaving only men and no means of reproduction. For a long time just the threat of this chemical was enough to force the other occupants of the Earth to obey the rule of the Outans who invented the chemical, and the world was peaceful for a time. But then in the year of 2511 the chemical was stolen by a terrorist group who released it in the Outan capitol. No one could have predicted the result of that outbreak. The released chemical was picked up by an out of season tornado that carried it up into the sky. By the end of the year over half of the world’s female population had died. By the year 2513 there wasn’t a single woman left upon the face of the planet, leaving only men. Things were bleak and everyone planned on the entire population dieing out before the turn of the century. However the side effect of the chemical was one that none could have predicted. Rather than growing old and dieing off, every man left on the earth over the age of 28 simply stopped aging while those under grew until they were of that age before time stopped for them as well. Diseases that were so prominent disappeared entirely, all sickness disappearing entirely. The men slowly discovered they suddenly had powers, abilities that had been believed impossible for one to obtain even with their modern technology. Some gained the ability to shift form, some suddenly had amazing strength, some could now fly, the various abilities discovered were as vast and unknown as the ocean and space itself. Though they did not die of age or sickness, they still could be killed through wounds or poison. The world has become a relatively peaceful place, though technology is still prominent, many also enjoy a more base and humble lifestyle with the aid of said technologies. Those some live off by themselves there are small towns spotted around where you can go to buy supplies or to get a drink etc. In short: it’s kind of a frontier setting, but for the most part without the cowboys. XD they have technology to help them with their farming and such, but they also do a lot for themselves. Let me know if this doesn’t make much sense ^-^ also, the men can have grown animal parts such as ears and tails, but please please please don’t just send neko profiles. A few are fine, but I’d prefer to not have character be a neko >.< Rules: 1. No Godmodding 2. I am the master of this house, none other shall rule 3. Be nice, no fighting amongst each other, however your characters can fight 4. Send me a pm with a ninja to let me know you read the rules and your profile 5. No killing without permission! 6. Have fun! Skeleton:Puppetmaster: (your name) Name: Age at fallout: Abilities: (powers developed after the fallout) Bio: Job/Lifestyle: (are you a farmer, a taylor, a cobbler, etc?) Appearance: (random note, there is a secret behind the chemical and the pic above ^^, it ties in with my charater and shall be revieled later on)

CHARACTERS Puppetmaster: VampuricWerewolf Name: August Fijian Age at fallout: 32 Abilities: Strength and telekinetic abilities as well as pyrokinetic when he’s angry. He may or may not have more, they seem to change with time and increase or wain in strength, though the three listed are constant. He has other powers that come and go however Bio: August was one of the royal bodyguards. When the terrorists released the chemical he was literally right there and tried to close the capsule, but was too late, receiving a full blast of the pure undiluted chemical. He was the only one to survive the blast, and is the only surviving member of the royal guard. He now lives a quite life in a small town in the countryside. Job/Lifestyle: He is a book keeper and historian, however he has his own little garden at his home. His main source of income is his little book shop, though he takes on several odd jobs. He is also the judge of his small town and a doctor when there is need for him. Appearance: Puppetmaster: EscasrietName: Biron Valiant Age at fallout: 35Abilities: Biron has strength that can match four fully grown bulls; danger sense,he is able to sense danger roughly around 15 seconds before they occur; and dermal armor, Biron can cover his body in a steel like material which acts like an armor. Bio: Biron was a chemist before the Fallout occurred. But before that, he had a average upbringing. He had two normal parents and a younger sister, who was often sick due to a poor immune system. During his childhood, he was her bodyguard as well as servant- to much of his sister's complaining about and resort to "I'm fine, Biron. Could you please leave me alone, you're scaring the group of girls I'm trying to be friends with." Well, he continued his role as an overbearing and protective older brother but it decreased when he went to college. He decided early that he wanted to do something to help his sister and others like her with medicine. So Chemist he became.
That was of course until the break out of the chemical that destroyed the X chromosome. After the first out break was successfully contained, Biron and most- if not all- chemist and other specialist got on working a cure if not, at least a treatment. Sadly, with the terrorist group stealing and releasing the chemical to the planet's population before a cure or treatment could be found. every female in Biron's life and not died, but not one of those lost lives held a speck of dust to losing his sister. After her death, Biron began job hoping since he didn't want a job that held any connection to the memory of his sister.
He was a hollow shell of himself the decades that followed. Though since it has been around 252 years after the fallout, Biron has recovered for the most part. Job/Lifestyle: Biron is now a constructor, working on anything to roads to high tech buildings. Which works well with his very muscular body that did caused him to get fired from a few jobs due to his clumsiness. Plus he has a better use of his abilities than the jobs before. He lives in a decent sized apartment that's close to a bar that he's a regular at that he goes several times a week. Some weeks more visits than others. His home is also serves by not being too far from stores if he need of anything and is one of the quieter places in the city. He has a few friends, but mainly just people he socializes at the work site or at the bar.

August was on his way home from the store when he decided to try out a bar he hadn't been to before. it was a little out of his way, but he tended to wander while heading home, not seeing any real rush to get there right away. he stepped into the comfortable space and liked the feeling he got here. maybe he'd come more often. he sat at the bar itself and ordered whatever they had on tap, not picky about his drinks. for now he'd just observe the night life here, seeing if this really was a place he could frequent.

"Alright, time to clock out you guys!" The boss man shouted to the work crew. Currently, Biron and the guys in the same group are working on replacing an old electrics store by destroying and then rebuilding it. which will be a lot of work and time to complete. This is why there's two groups in C.O.R.P.S guys to handle all the heavy work like Biron and others do the lighter work. The others are busy upgrading and remolding a office building filled with cubicals. The one thing that hasn't changed over a century, companies still have little square cubicals serving as unfortunate people that foolishly believe that they will one day move up the pyramid ladder. Well, it wasn't Biron's job.... Now. Long story short. His body type isn't suited for small places with little elbow room.
It didn't take long for the guys to pick up their tools and shutting down their heavy machinery. The workers said their 'see you guys tomorrow'. As usual, Biron was one of the last to leave the current work site. Usually, he would walk home but the work site was farther than usual. So he had to take Rail Transport System it's free to the public and get people to their stops faster than ancient subways or cable cars during the 1900-early 2000s. It was simply a bit more relaxing to walk then wondering what is that sickening green glub on the floor while you're riding.
------------------------------------------------------------
"Hey, Biron. Just got off from work?" Rush the bartender asked as Biron stepped into his usually bar. Rush probably as close of a friend as any apart from guys he just socializes at work or every now and then brings some guy to drink with. He would go where he usually sits, but a man with messy black hair and a black trench coat was sitting at his place at the bar counter. Some guys would get ticked at something minor like this, but it wasn't like his name was written on it or anything.
So Biron just shrugged it off and took the seat next to the man that took his seat. "Yeah, though I had to take the rail system. Since it's a little ways from here. So how's life as a bartender?" he answered Rush's question.
"Same old, same old. Though I have to say I'm still a bit surprised you kept your construction job, unlike the jobs before. Eh, I guess you found the job that suites you. Want the usual?" With a simple nod from Biron, Rush was once again off to serve a drink.

August glanced over at the man sitting next to him and had to hold back a small whistle. now that was a wall of muscle if he'd ever seen one, an dhe'd seen some pretty big guys through the years. there was a small sense of something being a bit off though-maybe he was sitting in this guy's normal spot. he'd have moved if asked, but was glad that the man sitting next to him wasn't like that. "evening," he said as the bartender left to fill the man's order. a construction worker? that was cliche, but it seemed the big man liked his job so more for him. he thought of asking 'come here often' but that was blatently obvious by the way he spoke with the bartender so he didn't ask. "this is a nice bar, isn't it? it's comfortable."

Biron turned his head toward the guy that stole his seat when he greeted him. "Evenin'," he replied. The bar usually only had a small number, compared to other pubs, clubs, and bars, except for holidays of course. So the drunken noise levels were low and conversation had no need to struggle to either to speak or to hear. It was one of the list of reasons why Biron liked coming here so much.
"Here's your rum, Biron. Knowing you, you don't want anything else or do you want to change up your routine a little?" Rush asked placing a glass mug in front of Biron that was foaming on the top. A small chuckle came from Biron as he answered, "Nope not tonight, Rush. Maybe tomorrow." Rush merely shrugged his shoulders. "You always say that, but I'm not complaining less work for me to do." Then the bartender left the counter to pick up empty glasses that the earlier costumers left for him.
"Yeah, it is. Not many people notice it as they walk by or stick around for too long since it's not as up to date with annoying entertainment systems like other bars. Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure I never saw you in here before. The name's Biron, what's yours?" Biron replied to the black haired man with his usual goofy grin.

August looked over and nodded a sthe man spoke, "You're right. it is a great place to come and relax after work." took another drink of the beer which was surprisingly good. "August," he smiled back, "yeah, it's my first time here. i like to wander around after work and came across this place. i take it you come here often?" he was likeing this man, he seemed open and friendly and it had been a while since August had spoken with another like this.

"It's nice to meet ya', August." Biron said before taking a gulp out of his own drink. It took a few short moments for him to figure out how to keep the conversation going. He's perfectly fine with starting a conversation but it does take some effort to continue it. "So what do you do, August. As I'm sure you already know from the bar's busy body, Rush, you overheard I work in construction."

August chuckled, "yes, Rush is his name? he seems to be a person who knows everything and everyone." he was certain that if the man had more time, he would have tried to pry August's life story from him. "Oh, odds and ends. my maine profession, if you can call it that, is a book store owner. i own the shop down on the main strip." he looked at Biron and smiled, "i'm a book worm, through and through, but i am able to do other things as well, like any other man. so what are you working on now, Biron?"

"You hit the nail on the head on that, August.Come here often enough, Rush will know just about everything about you without you even telling him. He either look for information about you or just knowing more stuff about someone the more you see and talk to them is his ability. Well, that's the only thing I could come up with Rush being the biggest busy body." Biron replied jokingly as he took another gulp out of his rum. He listen to August as he explained his job. The "I'm a book worm, through and through..." reminded Biron briefly of his life before when he was a Chemist. Always having his head in a old textbook from college or grad. school, his notes or white board, or in his experiments. Though the trip down memory lane didn't last more than a few seconds mainly to August bring him out of it asking about the project Biron's company is working on.
When Biron thinks about how things were before the Fallout, Jane's, his little sis, face always seems to pop up. If August didn't bring him back into the conversation, there was no doubt that Biron would see his deceased, beloved little sister's face that he fail.
"Huh?Oh, C.O.R.P.S, the company I work for, is currently doing two jobs. One doing some remodeling in some office and what me and my crew mates are working. We're building yet another building down on the Main Strip, who knows maybe your book shop isn't far from the work site." He answered while adding the last part as proof he was listening to August was saying moments before.

August thought for a moment, "i think i know what you are talking about. it's a little ways down the street from ym shop, but i've been keeping an eye on it." he smiled a little, "i have little excitment in my life so i am curious to see what the finished project will be." even after all these years, his training to observe everything around him for possible further use had not dwendled. the new building hadn't taken more notice than a change of scenery and slight interesting in what they were making, but he was glad for his noting it now as he spoke to Biron. "i might have to be careful around Mr Rush. though i am but a book shop keeper, there are many things about myself i'd rather me kept to myself. i'll just have to try to not make eye contact and hope that works." he was teasing now, but still was somewhat serious

"Who knows, we just might run into each other then since we just mainly working of the building's foundation, meaning we're gonna be there for a while. We all have our own bones in the closet, I think it'll be fine since Rush is always busy with something now-a-days. I've been coming here for a couple of centuries, so it's little surprise that he knows a bit about me- ability or not." Biron replied as he finished off his rum. Then a sickening gut feeling with brief black and white vision, he's danger sense has kicked in. Now's for the 15 second count down, though to others it would seem like a short awkward pause.
During the evening, a small party at one of the back tables have been gambling. Though not all of them are good losers, the man who had been on a winning streak just lost all of his winnings and was not happy. The 15 second count down had ended, and the man get into a rampage. Black vines were unleashed from the man's sleeves and randomly moved and struck people that never had any business at the table.
"Get down!" Biron shouted as he tackled August to the ground just right when a couple of vines striked the bar where they were sitting. One of them was going to strike down on them, but Biron quickly but his dermal armor in place. His skin turned into a shiney metal.
((Though I spice things up a bit to make up for my late reply.))

August felt something was off and turned his head in time to see the black vines shoot out. he growled as he was pulled down, but was glad for the protection from Biro. it gave him a chance to stop the man. he snapped his fingers and the vines turned to ash, save for the ones that were attached to the attacker which caught fire and burned him as well. "thanks," he muttered as he watched the man try to put himself out. he slipped out from under Biron and the iorn legs of the chair the attacker had been sitting in wrapped themselves around the man's arms and legs, binding him and making him fall to the ground, the fires going out. "idiot." he sighed, shaking his head and looking at Biron, "cool ability that. you'll make all the shiny addicts go crazy over you." ((it's cool XD))

Biron got himself up, still having his dermal armor on. He let out a impressed whistle when August burned the vines and wrapped the man up for the police that were most likely on their way.
"cool ability that. you'll make all the shiny addicts go crazy over you."
The oversized man couldn't help to let out a laugh. "And you would know because you're one of them?" Cool abilities yourself, August. Without you, the bar would probably be half destroyed with just fighting aginst him with mine." Biron glanced up that the clock on the wall, surprisingly it was still there.
"Well, I think I'm call it a night. It's late and I have to get up early, not to mention I doubt this place would be as fun and relaxing like it was with the idiot going crazy like that for the night."
