There was a sense of reliefe, Or at least he hoped so, as he had taken directions from some strangers after all. The beautiful forest- or maybe it was just something about the atmosphear of this place reminded him of home.
Of course he knew there was more importaint work to be done than having a nostalgia trip; he needed to find his mama and his sisters right away. But this place looked so big... would he ever find them?

Further into the prides territory, Dauna was sitting quietly in a lush patch of grass. She was contemplating a lot of things now that her head was clearing up again. She let her love for talking to the plants of these strange lands take her away from her home pride. No, it would have been too easy to blame such thingies on the insanity; she knew exactly why she wanted her little family to live in Kizingo'Zaa.
She saw the members of this pride live in harmony with the males, keeping them in their family circle far after they had reached their prime. Nanami was still getting use to it, but she could see a bit of flirtiness in her actions now, as she attempted to put males in their place. Perhaps with time, she might even allow herself to love one of them... though that was kind of a long shot.
Dauna in her short time in the pride had seen plenty of lions with natural colored coats with high ranks, and the thought couldn't help but bring a big smile to her face. No longer was her oldest daughter sucesses bound to the color of her coat- but by her own free will.
Her heart begain to feel heavy though, at the thought of her two sons she had left behind. Kujaku she was sure was adjusting well. He was very much like his father, so accepting of his fate as the opposite and inferiror gender. But what about Takeo? He was such a mama's boy and had even seeked her out after he left their family. How was he holding up? Just before they left, Dauna had even told him they could meet every once in awhile. What must he have thought when he realized our little family was no longer even in the K'N lands anymore. It must have been so painful. She could only hope that he had adjusted quickly and never went looking for her again. Maybe...
"Mama?" a quite, yet familiar voice called out to her. She lifte her head and almost saw a mirror image of herself, except he had a mane. Had her insanity returned?
"Mama, it's me." He said in a soft and timid chirp of a voice.
"Take... TAKEO!?" Dauna yelled and ran to her son, pressing her snout into his soft purple mane. "You've grown up handsomly." She shivered, trying to hide exactly how the reunion was making her feel.
"You look good too Mama, I'm happy your doing okay." He comforted her, seeing a side of her he had never been able to back home. She smiled, but suddenly and quickly pulled her head back and looked up into his deep purple eyes. "Dear, does Kuja happen to be with you?"
Takeo's deminor chnaged at his mom's question, reminding him exactly what reason he had come to see his mom. "why don't we sit down and talk."
