Maia sat on the fountain which it seemed clear from the off vine placement that someone had tried to clear it off. Still it was a least half covered, but it looked better than she had seen it before and she smiled lightly seeing the efforts the civilians were making despite the situation.

She wanted to do something nice for them and so here she was, currently by herself to hold what could only be considered a mini concert. She was thinking on what she should sing and how loud she would need to be to bring other's out to enjoy the music. She doubted she would need to be overly loud as the castle basically went around the fountain, but still she wasn't sure the echo or anything else of the spot.

"La la la la la la," she sang out testing the spot and grinning slightly. It would do, now what to sing, what to sing. She really wasn't sure, but she did know she didn't want to sing people running for the hills because she picked the most hated song.

In the end she picked Someone Like You, by Adele and sang so the song went up throughout the out post.

"I heard that you settled down
That you found a girl and you're married now.
I heard that your dreams came true.
Guess she gave you things I didn't give to you.

Old friend, why are you so shy?
Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light.

I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it.
I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded
That for me it isn't over ..."

Eliza heard the music and looked out of the window in the room she was in to see a girl singing. It sounded so pretty so she went down to investigate. She took the steps two at a time rushing out to the fountain and stopping to listen to the girl a senshi sing.

"Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
Don't forget me, I beg
I remember you said,
"Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead,
Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead,"
Yeah... ,"sang Maia continuing on right to the end of the song before she noticed the girl.

"Hi," said Eliza with a small wave. "That was pretty. I like it, but what made you sing that, bored?"

Maia shook her head, "thank you. I'm the senshi of song, coincidentally I love to sing I thought it might be something everyone would enjoy. Anything you would like to hear?"

Eliza shook her head, not really knowing what to say, "um I'd have to think about it for a moment."

A cloud of glowing gold particles was flickering in and out of existence around the fountain. If it was possible for an amorphous glowing person-sized cloud to be irate, this one was certainly trying as hard as it could to appear so, with limited success. It hovered close to Eliza and Maia - recognizing the latter from a meeting that seemed both recent and so far away.

Do you know how to speak 'glow'?

The ghostly version of Szczeosny didn't bother to wait for an answer, because she wasn't going to get one. It wasn't like she had actually said anything. She couldn't talk. This she had already figured out a while ago. As loud as she could think, it was no substitute for vocal chords. The cloud shifted an inch closer to Maia.

If I hum a few bars, will you sing along?

Ok she would never get tired of that joke.

There had been a guitar in Chronos' outpost.

Themis had be surprised - who had brought a guitar, for what reason, who had requested it ? There was a small build up of dust on the instrument, which betrayed that it hadn't found much use.

He'd heard someone sing. It was no surprise that it was Maia - and now Themis stood in the distance, guitar in hand.

And hesitated.

He'd... never been the best with her. In some levels, he was still hesitant, wary. She was his cousin, on his mother's side, something he'd been bared from exploring for most of his life. It was pure coincidence that they even knew, and a part of him still felt overwhelmed. When she went to the Blood Moon without even telling him, he'd felt betrayed.

Old wounds re-opened that had nothing to do with her, really. It was unfair, he knew. She felt like a stranger some days, but mostly because he hadn't let her in.

Really, Themis - Xavier - still had no know where to even begin. Or maybe he did. With Maia busy singing, it had been easy to come, and sit at the base of the fountain.

Most people probably did not even notice the man in the dark coat until the guitar came to life.

It was the voice that had lured him.

He knew that voice, thatvoicethatvoicethatprettyvoice~~ And upon seeing her, he remembered, even if it was fuzzy, where he'd heard that voice.

'That was a good one.' Joshua laughed at Szczeosny's joke, but she would be the only one able to hear her. To everyone else, both beings of light were silent, but Joshua seemed content to simply 'sit' beside Maia for now.

Maia did not see the glittery ghost behind her, nor had she noticed her cousin pretty much appear beside, though she knew he must have walked up when she was singing, well that was until he played with her singing, making her blink and look at him, but she hadn't faltered.

Eliza however did notice both these things and had grinned to see such talent on display, though it faded slightly when she pointed a finger just behinds Maia's head wide eyed and another to the fountain beside her. "Look," she exclaimed her eyes wide.

Maia turned her head to catch a glimpse of the gold glittery ghost (Lucky) and looked it over curiously. There was nothing overly chaotic about it, as a matter a fact. She attempted to poke it and her hand went in feeling lightly warm before she quickly pulled it back. "Sorry," she mumbled. "Err would you like me to sing some more," she said softly wondering if the whatever it was could understand her.

"I bet it does," Eliza spouted excitedly, "sing for it. Sing for it. Maybe more will come. You already brought two."

Maia looked to Themis, "What do you think huh, what shall I sing this round?"

Layton, while searching for (guess what) her lost brother, had come across the little miniature concert, but had been too shy to say anything thus far. So instead she had just hidden behind a column, and listened. It was a nice song, but a sad one. Layton wasn't incredibly "hip with the music," but she had at least heard of this one. Adele, right?

Layton actually smiled during the song, something that seemed like a rare occurance thus far when she was by herself. She immediately regretted staying behind the pole, but at the same time didn't want to leave her little shelter.

As soon as the lady stopped, Layton quietly walked over to Maia and said, "Y-your song was lovely miss." She didn't know anyone else in the little landing, but they all seemed like good people. At least, most of them were either normal people or the ... superhero people. Nothing suspicious, unless the superhero people were evil? From what she'd seen they weren't evil...

Sailor Thisbe had been trying to help out here and there as she could; mostly in ferrying supplies back and forth, her parent's credit cards good for something, even if they couldn't be used in space. Lately, though, she had spent more time exploring; getting to know her surroundings (the Surrounding), becoming as familiar as she could starting with the outpost of Chronos.

The raven black senshi she had followed here initially had started out here, after all, and now that she wasn't...

Thisbe had left her hood down, attempting to seem a bit less ominous as she moved amongst the civilians towards the sound of music, a soft smile curving her lips as she caught sight of a familiar face. Good to know Themis was still in one piece.

Where there were ghosts it seemed there was also the newest Ghost Chaser; completely by accident this time. Regina had heard the rumors and, having proven that aliens were real (she considered being in space a point in her favor for that argument), she was off to make or break this new myth as well. Was this all a new conspiracy? Something to distract the--

The sound of music caught her attention as well, luring her right in just as it had the others... A few senshi, some other civilians... And the sparkling clouds. "... I wish I still had my camera." She murmured softly.

You're a better crowd than they are, Lucky thought at the fellow incorporeal being. She was lapping up what little attention she could get in this state, and ignored the living in turn just to keep the newcomer occupied. Hell really is nobody laughing at your jokes.

So what's with all... this? Lucky tried gesturing, but it just came out a slightly brighter pulse of light. She was determined to take advantage of this clarity. The longer she thought about it (and that was hard enough considering she didn't have a brain to begin with, in this state), the less she seemed to know overall. Actually, please just tell me there is a higher power than the squabbling skirt brigade working on fixing this very temporary space-related inconvenience.

There was a long pause. The cloud dimmed tremendously, and all the fight seemed to go out of its unspoken words.

I just want to go home...

Eliza looked at the three shimmery gold thing with quite a bit of awe. "It like you called them or something," she said with a grin. "That was so cool. Sing some more. Maybe more will come. They are very pretty."

Eliza went over to Hawke and tried to touch the floating ghost but pulled back at the last minute. "Your hand went through. Do you think it hurts to touch them?"

Maia did spot him quickly and he gave her a bit of an awkward smile. Really...

Through her question did need some pondering. "Hm..." What should he have her sing ?

"Bring me to life ? Evanescence." Hey, he liked all sort of music, okay ?

All would be fine as long as Maia wasn't expecting him to sing the male parts. Hellllllll no.

He saw a familiar shape in the crowd, and perked a bit. "Thisbe !" He waved at her, hoping she might come closer and sit near him. He was glad to see her well, really.

Aw, hell yeah. Two lovely ghost ladies ? He liked this.

Damn right, he was pimpin'.

'I dunno, this is kinda cool...' Seriously. Seriously ! Able to go anywhere he damn well wanted lightning quick ? ******** FLIGHT ?

This was ace. Really ace.

Maia motioned everyone she saw come about from her song closer, grinning as more people showed up and feeling like the little impromptu concert was a success. She looked to Layton and grinned, "Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. I thought with all that is going on that everyone might like this little fun time."

She looked to her cousin when he suggested a song and nodded with a smile, "I can do that, but, " she looked to everyone who had gathered, "if anyone knows the male part could you sing em. I can't do both at the same time, otherwise I'll just sing it without."

She laughed a bit at Eliza's little statement, it did seem her singing had attracted them, but she did not comment.

"Alright everyone, next song it Bring Me to Life, by Evanescense. Think of a song while I'll sing. I'll sing whatever you like as long as I know it. Okay," she said before looking to Themis holding the guitar, "ready?"

She leaned forward slightly sitting up straight and started to sing, really getting into the song that she hadn't sung in some time, a long time really.

"How can you see into my eyes like open doors?
Leading you down into my core where I’ve become so numb
Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold
until you find it there and lead it back home

Wake me up inside
Wake me up inside
call my name and save me from the dark
bid my blood to run
before I come undone
save me from the nothing I’ve become

now that I know what I’m without
you can't just leave me
breathe into me and make me real
bring me to life

Wake me up inside
Wake me up inside
call my name and save me from the dark
bid my blood to run
before I come undone
save me from the nothing I’ve become

Bring me to life
Bring me to life ...."

She sang straight through to the song even standing part way through and dancing just a bit, enough that was appropriate for the song. When she finished she was bright eyed, rosy cheeked ... it was obvious she loved to sing.
