(Backdated to Ghost's youth)
Ghost-flower woke with the sun, eyes wide and excited as she ventured away from her siblings in favor of the wide open swamp. There was so much to see, so much to learn and question and she wanted to see it all today! Or at least half of it. Maybe even two thirds. Which meant that Ghost-flower had to get a headstart if she was going to see everything she wanted to see.
As the day wore on, Ghost-flower wandered farther and farther from the familiarity of her home, chasing after foxbuns and leaping like a toad, all in the search of knowing everything there was to know in the swamp. ...Okay, to be honest, she got distracted chasing foxbuns.
Can you blame her, though? They're adorable. Finally, after the last foxbun outran her by a mile, at least, Ghost-flower looked around, and realized that she had no idea where she was. Worry should've been the first reaction, but instead, she was just curious as to how far she'd gone. Was this halfway through the swamp?
No, it couldn't be, the swamp was way too big for that.
Hmphing, she started walking through the muck of the swamp, rubbing her antler nubs against a tree as she passed it. "I wonder if my family is near..." She didn't hear them, but that could just mean they were being sneaky.
