Description- While good natured and hard-working, Jisaku is usually quiet and withdrawn unless he has someone to talk to. Because of the nature of his death, he has an aversion to loud noises (especially explosions).

Spirit's Name- Hotaru (Firefly)
Sealed Appearance- Unlike most zanpakuto, Hotaru is shaped like a shirasaya sword. This allows for quicker drawing and sheathing.
Spirit's Description- Hotaru is a tall woman (about 5'8") with waist-length blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Covering her body are green linear tattoos that actually glow in the dark. She wears a black tube top, black gloves, and black knee-high boots that look uncomfortable, but since she's able to float as long as she wants, they don't bother her. Personality-wise, she tends to be rough and overbearing, but acts as a surrogate sister to Jisaku.
Shikai Release Phrase- Glow, Hotaru!
Shikai Description- Jisaku's blade splits into eight glowing green orbs, each the size of a billiard ball. At the center of each orb is a fragment of the blade, which rotates like a gyroscope at an immeasurable speed.
Abilities- At top speed, each orb is capable of piercing cleanly through solid stone. The force is likened to that of a shotgun. Not only that, but the green light emitted acts as a "life meter" for Jisaku. If he were to take damage, the light would grow dimmer.
Bankai Release Phase-Raikouhi Hotaru (Lightning Queen Firefly) (Not obtained)
Bankai Description- The shikai itself turns from green to a near blinding shade of blue and the orbs are crackling with electricity. Not only that, but Jisaku has linear green tattoos covering his body and his glasses turn into tinted goggles for increased accuracy.
Abilities- 1: Jisaku's speed and spiritual pressure practically double. Plus, the tattoos covering his body keep him from getting zapped not only from his own bankai, but any electric attack coming his way. Any other elemental attack, however, is fair game.
2: While stationary, the orbs crackle with about 500 volts of electric energy each. They can gather more energy while moving and can strike like lightning bolts.
3: Kaminari Atsuen (Rolling Thunder) - All eight orbs get in a circle (3 feet in diameter) and start rotating to build up energy. At its maximum, the circle can build up to 100,000 volts. After which, the circle is launched and starts rolling like a wheel towards its intended target, zapping or shredding anything in its path. After about ten seconds, the whole thing causes a huge explosion about 50 feet wide. There are two downsides to this attack, however. One, it takes a while to build up energy. Two, for those of you who weren't paying attention, Jisaku really doesn't like explosions. If ever he manages to pull this off, Jisaku immediately deactivates it and curls up in the fetal position with his hands over his ears.

History
Human World- Jisaku used to be a normal ten year old blonde boy living somewhere in Kyoto, Japan. His father had left the family and he only had his mother and older sister to support him. Things were pretty much normal until, during a spring festival at school, his entire town was obliterated in an enormous explosion. Upon learning that he was dead, he was so traumatized that his blonde hair turned completely white. He wandered around for a week, wondering what had happened, and his chain of fate was nearly eaten away before he was confronted by a (as of yet nameless) Soul Reaper. After a brief konso, he was sent to Soul Society to begin a new life.
Early Soul Society- Jisaku began his new life wandering from district to district in East Rukongai, learning all he can about his new home. However, having no place to live was a drag. He eventually dragged himself to the home of a spry old woman, Natsuko Himawari, who took pity on the boy and let him stay. After a little walk around East District #50, he learned about creatures called Hollows and their destructive powers. After that, he decided to head to the Soul Reaper Academy, declaring that he refused to let the tragedy of his home happen anywhere else. While she was against it at first, believing he doesn't have what it takes, she decided to teach him the basics, revealing (to Jisaku's surprise) that she used to be a Captain in Squad 11.
In the 13 Court Guard Squads Five years had passed. Eleven, if you include the six year program in the Shino Academy. As it turned out, Jisaku had the knack to be granted lieutenant position right off the bat! Who would've thought?
