"Okay...alright~! I'll be there in a minute.....whaaaat? But..!" Junko pouted. Her eyes were turned down to something she was sewing together, her shoulder raised with her phone against her ear. She wanted to finish this first! She loved Seiji, he'd called to ask her to come over because he had something to tell her, but she saw him every day. He knew she'd come quickly. She wanted to finish this though! But the voice on the other end insisted, suddenly making her face flush hot pink and her hand shake enough to p***k one of her fingers on the other hand with the needle. "Gah! Oh..uh..no, I'm fine. I just pricked my finger is all." She stuck said finger in her mouth a moment. There was a pause and she blushed harder. "S-stop..alrightalright. I'll be there in a second! I love you, too." She made a little kissing noise before taking her phone in the hand and hanging up the call. Tell her, huh? She looked down at the dress she was sewing and sighed, quickly putting all of her things away. She stopped at the door to look back at the minipets. Momo was staring at her with wide 'save me' eyes. Sayuri was flopped across his back, pinning him to the floor. Well...Hikari did like Momo...
Junko walked back to gently roll Sayuri off Momo's back, picking the scareon up after that. She would just take him with her! She hummed merrily as she walked as quickly to from the monster dorms to the ghost dorms right next door.
She knew the way to Seiji's room well enough by now not to have any trouble finding it quickly, cradling Momo easily in one arm so she could knock on Seiji's door with her now free hand. "Seiiiiiji! Seiiiiiiji~! I'm here~! Annnnnd I brought your favorite peeeeeet." Junko said with with a grin, hoping to throw him off with who she brought with her. She felt like being a tease all of a sudden.

Smirking to himself, the boil hung up the phone and slipped it back into his pocket. Good, she was on her way sooner rather then later, and it had only taken minimal convincing. He did feel a little bad for having pulled her away from her project, but he knew she got in to her work, and a moment could have easily stretched on indefinitely. Not on purpose of course, but once that ghoul was in the zone..
His attention dropped down to his clothing, and he gave an annoyed sniff, tugging at the front of his shirt. It was singed, and he smelled strongly of campfire. Even having reformed unharmed after falling into that lava their clothing seemed to have suffered lingering damage, however slight. It was an easy enough problem to fix with a change of clothing, so he quickly yanked his shirt over his head to replace it with a sleeveless hoody. Jeans swapped out for more jeans. There was still a faint burnt scent about him, but it was a lot less so now that he'd changed. Dirty clothes dumped unceremoniously in his hamper.
It was about then he heard the knock on his dear, and he turned towards it with dark brows arching. Junko didn't usually knock. "You know you don't have to knock, woman," he called back out to her, though almost immediately regretted it when she chimed in about having brought his favorite pet with her. "Did you have to bring Sayuri?" She knew he didn't much like the fox, the thing was so derpy and needy.. Grumbling softly he moved to open the door, grumpy expression thawing instantly as he noticed who was tucked under her arm. "Haha, very funny." He gave Momo a scratch under the chin, then moved to let them both past. "Hikari is in my room."

Momo was a lot easier to hold than Sayuri and Kuro, that was for sure. For one he settled comfortably against Junko and only squirmed if he didn't like how he was being held, which thankfully didn't happen often. Second? The Ofuda scareon was very light and wispy. She liked that. He settled his head on Junko's shoulder and squirmed and turned in her arm until he was comfortable, his airy tail swishing when she went back to holding him with both arms again. His paws were against her shoulder and his ears were laid back, red eyes closed until they were just red lines as his tail swayed side to side. Junko giggled and pressed a little kiss to the top of his head as Seiji told her she didn't need to knock. "My arms are full, I can't open the door." She replied simply, grinning mischievously. Who would he think she had brought? His question, as grumpy as it was, had her laughing and rubbing her cheek against the top of Momo's head where she had just kissed. The scareon made happy snorting noises as he pushed his head up against Junko's. The ghoul giggled.
Oh! Wait! Sayuri? Junko grinned now. "I always knew Sayuri was your favorite~." Junko teased as he opened the door, grinning up at him even as he looked upset she had supposedly brought the purple fox. "Yes, I'm very funny. I figured Momo could use some time away from Sayuri and Kuro, and Hikari could use a playmate for a little while! It's okay that I brought him, right?" Momo turned his head as the door opened and his eyes widened, ears perking and wispy tail wagging with excitement. Chin scritches! Yaaaaaay! Junko stepped in when Seiji moved aside, pausing to hop on her tiptoes long enough to give him a kiss against his cheek. "Okay, I'll go drop him off in the bedroom first then and I'll be right back. 'Kay?" She didn't really wait long for an answer, already walking away to go do just that. She opened the door to Seiji's bedroom and peeked in, finding the white ofuda scareon curled up on Seiji's bed. Momo's ears perked again as he squirmed to turn in Junko's arms, giving a bark when he saw the other scareon before managing to leap out of Junko's arms onto the floor. Hikari yipped excitedly and sat up on the pillow she'd been napping on, soon lowering into a pounce-ready position as Momo climbed up onto the bed as well. Junko giggled and put her hands on her hips, watching as the two began to wrestle and play. Nutsos.
Before long Junko had turned away and left the room, closing the door behind her and regarding Seiji with obvious curiosity. "Sooooo~? How did it goooooo?" Was that what he wanted to tell her? How his exam went? She hoped it went well!

Oh, full arms, right. Well that did make since, he supposed. Gray skin pinched above the bridge of his nose as she carried on teasing him about her foxes, eyes narrowing stubbornly. He wasn't even going to dignify that accusation with a response, it would just be rewarding bad behavior. Instead he ignored all mention of Sayuri, and carried on thusly. "I'm sure Hikari will be thrilled to see him, the other two never want to play with her." He gave the scareon in her arms another fond chin scratch, then bent so she could reach his cheek easier to lay a kiss there, smiling lazily after her as she made her way towards his room. "Ya, sure."
While she went to drop her newest pet with the rest of the motley crew, Seiji closed the door and wandered towards his recliner, flopping back into it with all the boneless grace of a cat. Left elbow resting on the arm and turned up so he could cradle his cheek in the palm of his blackened hand. Hand, not claw.
When she returned to him he was smiling up at her in a rather smug way, though when she asked if the exam had gone well he shook his head, chuckling. "Terrible. I was burned alive." It had been incredibly painful, but it had only lasted a split second and then he'd reformed on the bank of the lava river beside Mac and Sarias. "I did make it further then the other people that failed though, so there's that." His index finger tapped gently against his cheek near the corner of his mouth. "I guess it doesn't matter though. Pass or fail, I'm a Knob now."

Junko watched him flop into the chair and grinned, walking over to mimic him somewhat. The only difference was that Junko climbed, not flopped, onto the chair to sit on his lap with her legs draped over the arm of the chair that Seiji wasn't leaning against, her back against the opposite arm. This put his blackened arm behind her..for the moment. Somehow she hadn't even noticed that the hand holding his cheek was supposed to be a claw and wasn't; Junko had grown so accustomed to the claw that not seeing it made her brain tell her that it was just his hand. She sniffed, making a slight face and leaning in close to sniff at his neck and then closer still to sniff his hair. That was not how her Seiji normally smelled. This was an icky smell. She didn't like it. But what was it? It smelled vaguely familiar...oh! Wait.. "...Burned..alive?" Junko blinked, her head cocking to one side. That...made no sense...didn't Savage do his exam? But burned alive meant he failed, right? She frowned sympathetically and pat his cheek. "Awww, Seiji. I'm sorry to hear that. How did you get burned alive though? For my exam with Savage we got trapped on a boat in the middle of some water that got possessed by a ghost and we had to defeat it with...rubber ducks..." Burned alive made no sense. But Seiji wasn't the only one who failed? Oh dear. "Who else failed?"
A slight movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention and her eyes turned toward the finger tapping his cheek. Huh? "Oh no! Your hand! Did it not heal?" It looked all burnt up! Junko reached out to take the hand, holding it in both of hers.
...Wait.
Junko paused a moment, just staring at the hand. A thumb pressed and rubbed circles into the center of the palm of his hand for a moment before traveling over his knuckles and along his fingers. They were black. This...wasn't his right hand. Junko looked around until she found his right hand. That was normal. "Wait...what's..." This hand. The black one. It was a hand. Junko even pressed down on his nails, expecting herself to be pricked...but nothing. Nothing happened. Her eyes widened as she gasped and looked to his face now. "Your hand is a hand! When did this happen?" She even took that hand and ran it down her sleeve; where normally this action would have torn the fabric, it did little more than tug at it as his fingers moved along the silk. It...it wasn't a claw! Unholy Jack!
"Oh! But..you're a Knob!" Junko squealed, giving his hands a squeeze as she leaned in to give him a kiss square on the lips. It was awkward with the position she was in, but he deserved some kind of reward!

Dark brows dipped as the ghoul leaned in to sniff at him after taking a seat on his lap, drawing away and sniffing sharply. Ok, so maybe he did still smell strongly of campfire, but it wasn't half as bad now as it was before he'd changed. She picked up on his hinting though after a moment, and he laughed. "Ya, burned alive. Our exam wasn't half that harmless. Then again I dunno how violent that ghost was, so I can't say for sure." Now he was kind of curious. "For ours though, we had to slide down a river of lava on a sled made of Ice." Yes, it still sounded incredibly ludicrous. "It was fear laced, so it didn't melt instantly, but it was still pretty fragile." He scratched at his cheek with blackened fingers then resumed his tapping. "Mac and Sarias both failed, Belladonna and Holly passed."
He blinked as she finally took notice of his hand, then frowned as she didn't seem to realize the significance of the blackened fingers. "No.. I healed fine." She grabbed his had to look it over in concern, and he actually saw the moment of realization, then the disbelief, confusion, shock, so on and so forth as she finally made the connection. He loved that about her, she was very expressive. He always knew what she was thinking.
She pushed on his nails and the grin he wore just grew wider. "After the exam. My control over the decay is a lot better." Like her and her hair. The silk under his fingertips as she brushed his hand along her sleeve was cool to the touch, and it was actually a rather unique sensation. He'd felt it before, many times, but never with the fingers on his left hand, least not in his unlife.
"But ya, I'm a knob now." His tone made it pretty obvious how proud of himself he was. He'd managed to catch up to the rest of his friends, finally, he didn't feel behind anymore. The grin faltered as she planted a firm kiss square on his lips, but he happily melted into it. Both hands curling around her sides.

A sled made of ice down a river of lava. How the hell did that even work? No wonder he failed! That a ridiculous exam like that had made three people fail? She gave a little laugh when he said Mac failed, but the laughter grew to where she wrapped her arms around her middle and even kicked her legs a little when he said Sarias failed. HAHA! Served her right that b***h! She was glad for Belladonna and Holly, and would surely have to go congratulate Bella soon, but oh man...Sarias failed. It was too priceless. Did she feel bad for laughing at Mac? Eh. Only marginally. But Sarias? She didn't feel the slightest bit bad for laughing at her misfortune. She did eventually calm down enough to sigh contently and leaned to the side, snuggling up close against Seiji and taking hold of his black hand again to gently massage it with her thumbs and fingers. She kissed each finger, nipping on the end of one with a giggle. She could bite it! It was a finger! Not a claw! She looked up at him as she did this, kissing the finger she had just bitten down on before just placing her hands in her lap, holding his blackened hand still.
"I'm so glad to hear that. I don't have to worry about you cutting anything now. I'm so proud!" Junko squealed as she let go of Seiji's hand to throw her arms around him in a tight hug, kissing him again and then nuzzling her face into his cheek. A knob! Her boilfriend was a knob now! Eeeeeeeeee! She kissed his cheek a few times, and then his jaw line, and then his chin, his nose, his temple; she was basically just peppering his face in kisses, even making adorable little kissy noises as she did. "I'm. So. Proud. Of. Youuuuuuuu~! Ohohoh! We should celebrate somehow!" Junko's eyes were wide as she leaned back enough to see his face, her hair wriggling and twisting with excitement.

He'd been expecting her laughter, and he even snickered himself at the memory of Sarias' boasting before disappearing into the lava. She had not taken her failure gracefully, that was for sure, and she'd been very vocal about his own, laughing and throwing snide comments. It'd been easy enough to ignore though. At this point he'd pretty much figured out the ghoul was a nutcase, and her apparent feelings for him just made everything worst. He didn't bait her, but that was all he could really do with that situation.
Glowing eyes turned down to his hand as she took hold of it and raised it to her lips to lay a soft kiss to each dark fingertip, smiling lazily. The nipping was a little unexpected though, and he turned slightly wider eyes at her as she bit him, that easy grin fading slowly. What was she doing? She knew what that sort of attention did to him, and quickly as it'd started she ceased, returning her hands to her lap with his still held loosely in her's. It was a little disappointing.
It was hard not to smile in response to her excitement though. "Nope, no more worrying about accidentally slicing anything." Her gushing had him grinning again proudly, and when she threw her arms around his neck he chuckled, resting his hands on her hips as she peppered his face with kisses. "Thank you, babe." He blinked up at her at the mention of celebrating. "Sure, but what'd you have in mind?" he let go of her side so he could curl a bit of writhing hair around a blackened finger.

The widening of his eyes made her giggle, massaging his palm with her thumbs and snuggling up close against him. He liked that, huh? Hehe! She'd have to see if she could do more for him later with that hand, then. She was glad to see his smile return, and then happier when the smile became a grin. "I'm sure doing things'll be easier too now that you have two hands!" Like holding things! And picking things up, and working out too! Maybe? Possibly? Like..now...he didn't have the claw to get in the way. Of course there were other...things...but she wasn't going to let herself think too hard on that right now.
When asked what she had in mind she blinked, settling down again. What did she have in mind? "I...don't know!" Junko hummed thoughtfully as she took his hand again and picked it up, threading their fingers together with a gentle smile. She could hold his hand. She was fine holding the claw just it was something she had always been so wary of, not wanting to cut herself in any way. "What're some things you couldn't do with your claw that now you can do with two hands?" She gently coaxed his hand into curling enough for her to bring it to her lips and leave light kisses against his knuckles now. "Maybe we could go on a fun date. It's been awhile since we went on one..." The last one she remembered had been at Seiji's parents' house. Heh.

Oh yes, lots of things would now be a lot easier with two normal hands, instead of his claw. He had gotten used to it over time though, and it wasn't really a noticeable hindrance often, but now there wouldn't be any issues. His mind had of course wandered in the same direction her's did, but like her he didn't comment on it, merely grinning happily to himself as she massaged his palm with small fingers. "It'll take a bit to get used to, but yeah. It'll be nice not having to worry about accidentally cutting or stabbing things if I'm not careful."
He hadn't thought about it in a while now, but there had been a point during their time on the island where he'd hallucinated those exact accidents, but on a much more traumatic level. He'd even actually hurt Jove. It was a terrible memory, but he'd never have to worry about it again.
He chuckled as she admitted she didn't have any ideas, head rolling back against the plush padding of the chair as she snuggled against him. When she asked him about things he couldn't easily do with his claw he actually had to think about it. "Good question. Well, texting, using utensils, a lot stupid little things really." He'd gotten so used to having it that he'd simply adapted to it being there. Huh. He gave his chin a scratch with grey fingertips, then rolled his eyes down to watch her as she offered up the idea of a date. "Sure, maybe grab something to eat that requires a fork and a knife." They didn't get a chance to get off campus often, and really Seiji didn't mind, he spent a lot of time with Junko, but dates were important to her.

Stupid little things? Junko pouted up at him. There was nothing else that he couldn't do with the clawed hand? She was almost disappointed he didn't say anything about their love life when he listed things he could do with two hands but she said nothing of it. Maybe he just didn't consider it a thing he had to worry about his claw for. Oh! Or maybe he was being good. Yes, she liked good. Junko was kissing his knuckles again as he considered that they could do. Junko could think of things she wanted to do but Seiji was already always doing those things, this time Junko wanted to do things Seiji liked to do. "Sure! We can do that!" She smiled now, kissing those blackened fingers one more time. She was really liking this.
Finally the hand was put down on her lap and she turned to sit facing him, her knees nestled on either side of him as she laid her hands against his chest. "We'll go get something to eat and then we'll do something you like, okay? Something with music, sports, guy stuff. Anything you want, 'kay?" Junko grinned. "But it's gonna be something we haven't done together yet." Ah, she was learning. The last time she told him she wanted to try something new he wanted to do something she didn't like the idea of, so now she was remembering she needed to be specific and set limitations.
Okay, so this wasn't quite the same thing but it did make it do they had a date without it leading back to sex right away. She enjoyed doing those things with him but she didn't want that to be all they did together...
"And then..after the date we'll come back and celebrate some more, okay? I mean it this time." She was, of course, referring to the last time she had told him this and that had not quite been how things had worked out. Not even in the slightest. "We haven't had time to go on a date since we got back to school. And we're dating~. That's a verb. We should..we...do said verb, right?" It made sense in Junko's head.

Seiji had been trying to be discrete about their love life and the new implications the added benefits two functioning hands would bring. Obviously he'd thought of them, but he'd left it out of the list of things he was now capable of doing so he wouldn't sound quite so much like the hormone driven beast he usually was. He was, to use Junko's terminology, being good.
The kisses to his knuckles were a little distracting, but he did his best to simply focus on the tenderness of the action, and not how terribly soft and warm her lips felt against his cooler skin. He let her have her way with those blackened fingers, relaxing into the soft back of his chair, and waited for her opinion on his proposed idea. When it came he smiled, squeezing the fingers she'd set down on her lap. "Those sorts of things tend to take a bit of planning, but we'll see what we can find. Worst to worst, I'll just look up if there are any concerts coming to town that might be worth seeing in the near future, and order some tickets." He rolled his shoulders. Really the boil was rather easy to please. He was happy just laying around and watching tv or movies with the ghoul.
He chuckled at her as she put more emphasis on the date part of their plans, curling his hands around her ribs so he could pick her up and place her back on her feet so he could stand himself. "Deal." The back of his fingers slide along her cheek as he moved past her so he could grab a jacket. Pulling his hood out the back of it so it wasn't trapped. "Let's go then, I'm sure Momo and Hikari will be fine."

Junko looked a bit crestfallen when he told her they would need to plan ahead for that kind of date. Damn, so that meant they couldn't do it. But when Seiji continued on to say he'd get them tickets for something she lit up with excitement. That was much better! "Okay~! That sounds like fun!" She grinned, leaning in to kiss Seiji's nose. This was exciting! Plans for future dates! She loved spontaneous ones but knowing they had things planned was also very nice to have there.
As he picked her up she squeaked, giggling an standing on her own. "Yay! Okay~." She hummed cheerfully and closed her eyes as he touched her, making her way to the door while he busied himself with his jacket. When he was ready she reached out to grasp his blackened hand, giving it an affectionate squeeze and reveling in the fact that she could just hold it without worrying about getting cut. "They'll be fine, they're good scareons~." Junko said proudly as she led Seiji out of his room, swinging their hands between them with a cheerful little hum.
