Be Mine had decided it was time for breakfast. The doe stood beneath a large fruit tree, peering up into the branches and following the hopping process of a Songbird. Fall For You leapt from one branch to the other, twittering his endless excitement, while Be Mine attempted to manoeuvre him where she wanted. He was thoroughly enthusiastic about the task, but he seemed to forget what he was supposed to be doing halfway towards doing it. “Oh no, back to that other branch, the one with the big peach. No, not that one… oh okay, that one will do.” She readied herself beneath it. “Just a moment…and… now!” The bird pecked the fruit free and Be Mine caught it neatly as it dropped. Fall seemed to think this was fantastic and started flying in loops around her head.

Questionably wound his way about the forest, the sun dappling his coat, shifting with branches as the wind shifted them aside. It was quiet, peaceful. But he was bored. Ever since the games very little had happened and so here he was, forced to go hunt for some entertainment. However, he did not have to search for long, or so it seemed, because up ahead he could hear the faintest sounds of a doe as well as a bird. The colorful buck picked up his pace, though remained silent; he wanted to be sure of his choice. As he peered through the undergrowth, he spotted a rather pink doe and her bird hopping around a peach tree. Quest snorted softly - she would be a rather easy one, he could tell. Without further ado, the buck then stepped forward to make himself known.

Be Mine mumbled thanks around her peach and the focused on eating her new prize; the juice dropping off her chin. It was Fall that alerted her to the bucks presence. The Songbird spotted the buck as soon as he stepped forward and he set up a loud commotion, whistling and twittering to get Be Mine’s attention.
“Mm?” The doe looked about and was pleased to see another Kimeti. She quickly finished off her peach, spitting the pip out carefully. “Hello.” She called out cheerfully. “Are you here for the peaches too? Fall and I will help you get some down.”

Questionably Yours nodded rather humbly.
"I would be delighted to have a peach, lovely one. I had not come seeking them, but it would be a joy to eat all the same." He gave a gentle smile, falling into what he thought of as a careless manner. She seemed to be one who would be receptive to such actions, trusting all too easily.

Be Mine smiled back at him. How easy he read her. She was unfortunately amazingly trusting and not inclined to think ill of anyone. Already she was thinking how nice he was. “They’re really delicious.” She grinned and looked back up into the tree. “Fall! Lend me your wings again please.” The bird shot up into the branches. “One of the big ones… right there… that’s it. Hold.” Be Mine glanced back at Questionably. “Get ready to catch it.”

The buck positioned himself as commanded by the doe, watching with slight interest as the bird began to make it's way up towards the peaches. It was rather lucky, really, that he and discovered this doe. Now he didn't need to find lunch.
"All ready! he called out, keeping an eye on the delectable looking peach.

Fall hopped closer to the beach, looking at it this way and that before pecking at the stem. Be Mine’s ears perked up in delight as it tumbled downwards towards the buck. Oh she hoped he would catch it. The first few times she’d tried this trick with Fall For You, most of them had ended on her head.

Taking a quick peek at the doe out of the corner of his eye, he saw her watching him eagerly. Not one to displease, he stretched out his neck and easily caught the falling fruit with his teeth and then turned towards her. With a few chews he swallowed the fruit while spitting out the seed, being careful to aim it away from her.
"They're quite delicious," he said in a silky tone. It's the perfect time to be eating them. I'm glad I decided to walk this way.

“Oh well done.” She said as he caught it. So easy! A clear look of admiration appeared in her gaze. “This is the best time of year for peaches; they’re so ripe and plump.”
Fall glided down from the tree, landing on her rump and walking claw over claw to her shoulder. Be Mine glanced back at him with a fond smile. “I’m Be Mine... and my friend here is Fall For You.”

Quest nodded his head in greeting and smiled a bit. "What a beautiful name for a very lovely doe," he replied. "And your friend is quite the companion. My name is Questionably Yours, though people often call me Quest, since it is quite a mouthful."

“Oh…” Be Mine could not help but be charmed. He seemed so polite and sweet. “Thankyou.” She giggled softly. “I would be quite lost without Fall, and I hope he would feel the same about me.” She dipped her head to him, suddenly a tad shy. “It is nice to meet you Quest. You also have a very nice name… not a mouthful at all!”

"Well then, it seems I owe Fall a thank you," he replied graciously, "for without him, we would never have met, perhaps! Dipping his head once more, he gave a small bow to the bird at Mine's side. "And thank you, beautiful one, for the flattery."
She was completely smitten with him, which suited Quest just nicely. It was a lovely game to play -- the only hard part was deciding how to toy with her next. Quest preferred the shorter flings, but he was quite bored, so perhaps he would drag this one out for a lengthier amount of time. The things he could do made him giddy just thinking of them.

“B-beautiful… ah… well, I’m not really…” This was the first time Be Mine had ever stuttered or felt awkward around a male. She was really still just a young female, never having dealt with the opposite sex in any way romantically. She was an easy prize.
“Would you… like to spend the day with me? I would really like to be good friends.”

"Why, of course," Quest replied, giving a charming grin. "And you undermine yourself, you really are quite a sight to behold." He slowly began to move closer to the doe, being careful not to scare her. Much, at least. Quest decided playing the slightly dangerous, yet enticing, buck would work quite nicely for him in this game.
"Perhaps you would like go visit a meadow I stumbled upon, just a few days ago? Or did you have other ideas of how we could spend the day?"

“Oh…” Be Mine was rendered near speechless by his charm and she shuffled her hooves in a sweetly nervous gesture. As he moved closer, she did not step back but smiled shyly as the distance between them shortened.
“I-I would really love that. Please, lead the way. Your meadow sounds nice.”
Fall For You had hopped his way to the top of Be Mine’s head and he blinked at Quest, turning his head from side to side in silent regard of the male.
Neither of them were any the wiser that Quest this was no more than a game.
