History: Kelstar was born in a small beasthold. His family taught him in the beastcraft arts and he earned his apprenticeship through hard work and a knack with animals. Kelstar did his family proud and they rewarded him by allowing him to choose two runners to breed. The foal of this breeding was to become his personal mount. He deliberated for three long days and finally settled on two of the best runners in his families herd. Kelstar was rewarded with a healthy black foal. Kelstar had just begun to train the beast when he was searched. His family were not happy about his leaving the hold but at his insistence that this was what he wanted to do, they finally let him. He left his little sister Tala with his dreams for new runners and his black foal. The separation almost broke his heart, but Kelstar was delighted to be going to the Weyr as he finally got the chance to learn about dragons. He missed his family but knew that they would be okay without him. He was searched at a Gather where he and his family were selling livestock and runners. Kelstar learned to care well for his animals and he grew closer to his family because of it. They would spend time together teaching his younger sister how to ride and breaking in runners, laughing when someone fell off but wasn't injured. Kelstar is an adept rider and can go for long distances runner back. He hates wherries with a passion and his family refuses to raise them as both he and his sister had nearly been killed after stupidly wandering into the wherry pen one day. Wherries are forbidden from the farm now. Kelstar helped his mother tend a small garden in the back of the house away from the runners and herdbeasts. He enjoyed the hard work and the sunlight as well as his mothers companionship, they would seldom talk but understood each other nonetheless. Kelstar also enjoyed riding with boys on neighboring farms and they learned to herd herdbeasts together. They formed a bond and rode whenever they could.
Kelstar was only truly frightened twice in his life, once when his runner dumped him in from of frightened herdbeasts,(he was saved by one of his buddies) and another time when his little sister became ill with a strong fever. The family took turns placing cooling clothes on her head and Kelstar watched his mother weep through the night. He felt as helpless as a new born runner and could do nothing except attempt to keep his sister cool. When she recovered the entire family celebrated with a feast.
Talents: Kelstar gets along very well with animals of all kinds and can carry a simple tune, although once the music becomes complicated his voice cracks.

Notes:Kelstar is tall and blond with green eyes. He has medium musculature and a long trailing scar on his left arm which he acquired from a spooked herdbeast and a sharp buckle on a lead rope. He has large delicate hands and feet that he still occasionally trips over. His clumsiness is left over from a late growth spurt. Kelstar has thick eyebrows and long hair that is often tied back in a thong.

Name: Jedith
Color: Blue
Final Size: 25 dragonfeet
Impressee Name: Kelstar
Personality: When first meeting this dragon, one is almost immediately reminded of an old soul. Jedith seems to hold much wisdom behind his gaze and one should feel honored should he choose to share it with you. However, this blue doesn't care much for idling about, there is so much for him to do! With that in mind, the blue is constantly on the move, looking for one thing or another but never staying in one spot for very long. When it comes to those silly arguments or disagreements between his siblings [or anyone really], Jedith is happy to offer up his own advice on how best to deal with it more properly. Jedith is a diplomat through and through. He would prefer to talk all his problems out before resorting to any other actions.

During lessons, Jedith is going to be a handful. Or a headache. Maybe both. He is a bit of a perfectionist and must feel like he has completely master the subject matter before he can move to the next. The blue might even feel up to helping his siblings if they haven't quite grasped the things he's mastered; if they're worthy enough.

Threadfall is a matter he dislikes very much. In all reality, he'd rather settle the score peacefully. But since fighting is deemed a necessary evil, he'll take to it like a fish learning to swim. Had he been a brown or bronze, he could've very well been wingsecond. Jedith will do his best to try and finish each Fall quickly, attempting to neutralize as much Thread as possible.

Flights. Those are a bit of a problem. For this blue, he views them as mere temptations that he is above. However, should his rider develop an interest in a green's rider, Jedith might attempt to catch her in order to please his.
