Akiza and ______ have been best friends since Kindergarden. Akiza had protected _______ from some bullies on the playground one day and they were best friend since. Now they are in college and _______ is starting to have feelings for Akiza. But he is scared that she wont love him back. Little does he know she fels the same way. But when her father finds out he starts to abuse her more and more each day. Will they be able to be together like they want or will her father find a way to split them up??? That is up to us.

Akiza was in her favorite spot after being beaten by her father again. This time he was saying it was still her fault her mother died. It had been this way ince she was five. She then hugs her knees close to her chest and had the saddest look in her ruby red eyes. She was wearing a wrap around her arm to heal the deep cut on her arm. She also had a wrap on around her back and stomachto hide the larger gash on her back. She then sighs and wondered if it was really her fault her mother died. When she was five her mother and her got into a bad car accident. She was starting school and had broken her arm in the crash. Her mother and her were on there way home from open house and an eighteen wheeler hit them. Her mother died instantly and Akiza was put in a coma. When she woke up her father said "I hate you. you killed your mother." It broke Akiza's heart. From then on she had thought that it was her fault. Plus her father made sure she never forgot that night. She then had some tears in her eyes. She wanted it to be over.

Hiei had been looking for Akiza since they always hung out together on weekends.They would normally go to festivals or to the arcade.Sometimes they would go to the movie theater together as friends to see a scary movie.He then checked her favorite place by a lake and found her.''Hi Akiza-chan.Whats wrong? Its your father again,isnt it?" Hiei said and sighed."Now can I kill him?" he said.He hated Akiza's father cause he was never proud of her and always abused her.He had had asked this question several other times.

Akiza then looks up at Hiei and said "No hiei. I wish you could though." She then said "If mom was here still he would't be like this. He used to be so nice. But it's my fault that she's not here." She then had a tear come down her cheek. She always blamed herself since she had no memory of what happened and she hated herself for what she thought she did. She then buries her face in her knees and starto cry. Her back was killing her right now since it hurt so much.

''It wasnt your fualt,Akiza-chan.It was that truck driver's fualt.Neither of you knew that truck would hit you and you did nothing wrong.Its also not your fualth because I know you love your mother.You would never try to hurt her on purpose and your mother wouldnt want you to be upset.You a great person.Your smart,talented,pretty,any guy would be lucky to just be your friend.Besides you were only five years old back then.You didnt do anything wrong.Your father has just been making you think that cause he need something to blame your mother's death on.'' Hiei said.He had saw the crash and knew a five year old wouldnt try to kill their mother

kiza then hugs Hiei and said "Tank you Hiei but you don't know what it's like to be yelled at all the time. The first time he struck me I was so scared that I had to hide from him just to get to school. I just wish he would realize that it's not my fault that mother's gone. I want my daddy back." SHe then remembered how life was before her mother was killed. Her father used to be such a nice man and would do anythjing. SHe remembered one time when she was a baby he used to let her lay on his chest until she fell asleep. Then he would take her to her room and tuck her in and said "I love you my angel." but then when she woke up she woke to the doctors and nurses holding him back and him saying "I HATE YOu. You little brat it's your fault she's gone." Before then he didn't even visit her in the hospital. Now all he did was doing was whipping her with his belt.

"You know what? You should live with me at my dorm.The dorms are co-ed and I could pay for it.Its better than being hit and yelled at by your father anyway.If you stay,he'll beat you more.He cant hurt you while Im around because I can stop him.Its to dangerous for you too stay with him.He might hurt you worse than he already has.You could still visit but I would have to come with you so you dont get beaten.'' Hiei said

"Yeah,I dont mind and you would be much safer there then living with your father.I could stand outside the window while you pack so if your father came in and looked like he was going to hit you,I could stop him.'' he said

Akiza then nods and said "Alright. That sounds like a good idea." She then carefully gets up as her back was hurting her from the gash on it. Plus her arm was hurting from the bruises and cuts on it. She even had a small cut above her right eye.

Akiza smiles and said "There will be plenty of time for that later. Right now I need to get my clothes together." She then gets her suitcase and gfets her clothes together along with her toothbrush and a few other things she needed. After she was done she goes over to the window and said "SHall we go?" She then smiles and wished she could tell Hiei how she felt about him. She loved Hiei more than he knew but never could find the courage to tell him.

"Sure Akiza-chan." Hiei said then picked Akiza up and carryed her to his dorm.He didnt want her to move around too much cause he wanted her to get her rest.He had feelings for her but since he rarely showed alot of emotion,he didnt know how to say it to her.

Akiza then blushes slightly as she was in Hiei's arms. She then smiles as she looks forward of them and blushes as she started to fall asleep. She was tired and felt safe as Hiei held her.
