It has been some time since Awakening had been by himself in Gaia. Aerith was spending time with her Gaian and so was Uzikie. Awakening found himself on ledge of a fish shaped water fountain observing Gaians. He was doing this the first time he met the glider he was hoping to run into. It was only a few months ago when Awakening found away into Gaia. He would spend a lot of time in Barton just enjoying the vastness of its people and living beings. He was spotted one day by a glider who just found himself on Gaia. The glider named Skull Rabbit must have thought Awakening had already bonded with a Gaian. He asked him many questions and the rusty blond only had a few answers.
They spent most of the day studding things Awakening found interesting like large vehicles and social areas such as bars. He enjoyed the afternoon he spent with Skull Rabbit and hoped the other cetus felt the same way. He was now watching a large reverse centaur buy flowers from a vendor nearby. He found the diversity of Gaia fascinating. He was watching the vendor place money in a cash register when he saw pink hair in the corner of his eyes. He quickly hopped down from the ledge he was sitting on and tried to find the owner of the hair. It was too late and the brown colored glider was lost any ways. It was hard to navigate in a high traffic area being so close to the ground.
He looked around and found the fish with water coming out of its mouth and warped back over to it. “This Gaian concept has me out of sorts” he said to himself. All he wanted to do is make Aerith happy but why did he need others in his life to confirm their love. He looked up in there air and he had a very concerned look on his face. A little girl walked passed him and placed a coin on his head “don’t be grumpy little bunny, doggy? Whatever you are! Your at the wishing well be happy! Kay?” she said to him as her mother pulled on her arm not noticing he daughter gave away the coin she had given the child.
The glider smiled and turned to the water fountain and lightly bowed his head dropping the coin in. “I wish to make Aerith happy” he stated to himself. The coin plopped into the water. He knew even if he had no one to represent him at the wedding Aerith would still love him. Yet he still wanted to try. He turned back scanning the crowd.

Skull Rabbit's journey began after a particularly torpid argument with his acquaintance, The Libra. The two of them lied down supine, on the ground, after having eaten and drunk a little too much.
In his stupor, he managed to raise a paw to get her attention and then asked, "Miss The Libra, fetch me a tanka'd of ale, please." Up until that point, the two of them had been making small talk and groaning about being completely and absolutely stuffed. After that...notsomuch.
She was surprised not at his question - she thought it was typical of him - but by the fact that he got her name right, even in his current state. Still, she had to set the record straight. Give an inch and they'll take a mile, after all. "I'm not your servant. I'm not anyone's servant. If you want it so bad, then why don't you go to Gaia yourself and get it?" She hadn't said anything that would be a red flag indicator of her mood, but her tone was cold and full of rage, like a tornado or snow storm.
"Alright then. I see. Very well. I will go and do just that." After that, he stood up, turned around, and marched out of her den.
After he had arrived in Gaia, he realized he knew diddly squat about it. He just wandered around, lost, and was amazed at how new everything there was to him.
Later on, he was extremely glad to have met not only another Gladier, but another Cetus, at that, Awakening. Skull Rabbit didn't feel strange asking Awakening questions and Skull Rabbit was grateful that Awakening tried to answer them all.
After they had split up, Skull Rabbit immediately went to a lot of social places, like some guilds and pubs. He couldn't understand everything they said, but he just liked to hear the sounds of them talking and seeing how they acted. He was taking it all in like a sunbather takes in the sun.
Now, he headed to the water fountain in the middle of town. There, he heard a familiar voice. "Awakening, that's you, innit?" He climbed up, until he was next to him. "What are you up to?" Skull Rabbit thought he looked like he had something on his mind, but Skull Rabbit didn't want to ask about it outright.

When Awakening first heard Skull Rabbit's voice he didn't bealive it. He turned around and almost fell into the water. "Well hello there Skull Rabbit where did you come from" he said with great cheer in his voice. Could the water fountain really have brought the pink haired glider to him? "I was just thinking about Aerith, we bealive it or not are having a traditional Gaian wedding" he shook his head. "I haven't been myself as of late" his tail laid limp. "The Gaian world full of it uniqueness, also comes with concepts I am having troubles understanding now myself" he sighed.
"Though the say with trials bring great rewards" his tail picked up momentum. "So have you found your Gaian yet" he asked. He didn't want to talk to much about himself. It wasn't time to ask him if he would take part in the wedding. "I am still learning about mine , he teaches me something new everyday" he stated. Awakening bonded with a new born. The brown toned cetus knew the child had a great destiny, and the two bonded early because of fate and he didn't not challenge this. He looked up at his friend ready to hear his update.

Skull Rabbit could tell Awakening had almost fell into the well. Was it something I did? Am I scary? Too forceful, perhaps? Oh, well he seems fine now... He smiled and said, "I just came from some pubs and guilds. They were amazing!" He made a flared gesture to make it seem especially grand. "Like nothing I've ever seen in Feiron. There was so much to eat, so much to drink, and so many people to talk to. Though, I don't think they understood anything I said and I couldn't really make out eve'ything they said eitha. It happens, I s'pose." He was wagging his tail now.
"This is my first time hearing of it. Is it like mating?" Skull Rabbit blushed terribly when he said that last word. This isn't the manliest thing ever, but it'd be heartless not to show any emotion at all at talk like this, right? He didn't think he was very good at this whole love business, but it sounded very sweet and to him, it looked like Aerith made Awakening happy.
Skull Rabbit could tell Awakening was feeling out of sorts, even before he said anything. No one should look that down normally. But from what he said, he understood. "I see what you mean."
"True that. It's, like, the diff'ence between diamonds and coals."
"I did. I'm trying to learn mo' about him too. He's..." Skull Rabbit tried to think of the most flattering words to describe him. "Well, he kind of reminds me of me when I was a kit. He always makes me laugh."

"No you didn't scare me, I was just thinking about you, thats all" he smiled. He jumped off the ledge "Well maybe I shouldn't of showed you all the pups a few months ago" he chuckled. "They are fascinating places, I understand certain Gaian words but not enough to make Gaian chat worth my time" he nodded. "My Gaian doesn't spend to much time with me, so we don't get much time to speak. She doesn't seem to like me much. Luckily Airith gets along with her Gaian, Airith says my Gaian will warm up to me. She just has to get use to me" he nodded his head back and forth, to show he wasn't to sure. "She is unique, and I do rather like her" he stated.
The male nodded his head "It's a much deeper connection then just mating my friend , its about confirming your love for someone and telling everyone you plan on being with that someone for the rest of your life, its a symbol of relationship" he looked down at the ground. He then looked back up at him "I have no doubt that I want to show that kind of love to Aerith, she has made me a better male" he stated in his normally strong tone.
"My Problem is I don't know to many gliders on a personal level, in order to marry someone I guess you need people in your life to stand on your behalf" he shrugged "I have never really made friends the way the Gaians do" he sat on the ground. "This is what I'm struggling with" he noted.

Skull Rabbit smiled and laughed the joyous laugh of a winner. He was at ease after he heard that he hasn't frightened Awakening. His ego was also stroked by the idea of someone else thinking about him. "Having to go through all just to say something sounds troublesome. But that kid sounds cute! I guess that's universal, right?" He now had a contented look, as he thought about all the cute kits he had seen in Feiron.
A lot of what Awaking said next flew right over Skull Rabbit's head, but he wasn't going to let it show. "That's admirable. Being able to give your all for someone like that, I mean." He wanted to be like that. He felt like he never gave himself to anyone. He'd give a lot of himself, but not all of it. There were always some cards in the deck that were never revealed.
Skull Rabbit could not relate to that. While he had only had two close friends, he never had any trouble approaching or forming a relationship with anyone. He thought that if he were in Awakening's shoes, then he'd feel lonely, but he could tell Awakening did not. He's stronger than I am. Or is that what love does to you? Both? "If I'm understanding right, then you just need someone who's willing, right? I don't know how many you need, but I do know you'e got at least one already." He pointed to himself.

"Universal is right my friend, children of all kinds and shapes are amazing" he smiled at his friend. He perked up as the conversation went by. The former bounty hunter stated "Well I can only hope to give Aerith my all, its one thing to say but another to do" he slightly nodded his head.
When Skull Rabbit said that he would be willing to represent Awakening in the wedding, the male's ears perked up and the rocks around his crown started to move in circles much faster then normal. "I would be most grateful if you could this" he bowed his head. "Aerith already has the two standing in for her" it was no surprise. Aerith has an uncanny ability to make friends and earn trust. After all it was Aerith who got Awakening to stay on Gaia.
"Well today surly has not been a waste, I will need to get your information so I can mail you more details on the wedding" he got right to business. "I reside on the 'Night Family Farm', this will also be the place of the marriage, I do not know what else is in store" he turned looking east. "Would you care to join me for a drink" he smiled "I will cover the tab" his tail swished.

Skull Rabbit was distracted by the rocks circling around Awakening's head. The crown did always float over his head like that, so it made sense that the rocks could possibly do that, but Skull Rabbit wasn't actually expecting to see that happen. "That'ssocool." His eyes had now left Awakening's face and were following the rocks around, even though Skull Rabbit's head was still facing the same direction it always was. No. Concentrate. Concentrate. You can do this!
After he heard what Awakening said and saw what he did, he thought, Should- Should I bow back? I suppose it wouldn't hurt. He bowed his head, closed his eyes, and smiled. Then, he said, "It's no problem at all. I owe you one, after all, and besides, I like you just fine."
"That's good to hear." Now, he just had to remember that number. What was it now? He could remember the place fine, but those symbols gave him trouble. Hmm... Oh, that was it! "I think the address is 001983. It's a little place in the Northeast of Barton."
He thought the place Awakening lived sounded important, so he made a point of committing it to memory. "That sounds wonderful. Getting together where you live sounds terribly romantic! And as far as not knowing what's in store, I think that's true of most everyone."
He wagged his small tail happily and gave Awakening a pat on the back. "I'd love that."
