Deep into the park the teenager walked. He didn't wish to change just yet, not before he got to the deeper - safer parts of the city park. He'd been here with Fluorite when he was new and it was here that he'd ask her. He felt bad for not talking to her since that night but school had started and than the senshi of the Zodiac and their little plot to steal their power.
Finding a bench finally he sat himself on the table top. Letting his sneaker clad feet settle onto the seat part. No senshi to be seen on his way here and he knew that the deeper into the park he went the safer he was. He knew of one Eternal that hunted in this park, but not this deep in. He'd had multiple run in's with her.
Would Fluorite come? Would she be upset that he hadn't spoken to her or would she understand that life had swept him up and tossed him this way and that, as like often had a tendency to do? He hoped she would understand and not mind especially since his call was all about business, and that came first and foremost. That in mind, and knowing she likely felt the same, he changed for the first time into a Captain. The clothing was new though just as comfortable as before. The boots were different, more of a heel, but it was the coat he loved. The design and the warmth it afforded him were much appreciated, whoever determined uniforms had done good by him once again.
Slowly he pulled his communications crystal he held it up to his lips. "Fluorite, Benitoite here. I was hoping if you can hear me that we can meet. I...require some assistance with training." It was a good way of putting it without telling her too much, and he did want to surprise her. Waiting for a reply, hoping she was out tonight and could be contacted. If she couldn't he would try tomorrow evening. It wasn't that big of a deal but with what was going on he felt it was good to get help when he could, no telling when he'd have free time again.

Fluorite came, alright.
But it seemed the purple-haired girl had her own surprise for the newly-promoted captain. One second Benitoite had been alone, sitting at the table.
The next someone was sitting right next to him, with an alarmingly precise sense of location - Fluorite hadn't even so much as touched him in her teleportation, one gloved hand going up to pull her hood down.
It was then that she noticed, green eyes widening a bit. "Oh, you sneak !" Says the one who hadn't told him of her own promotion. "Congrats ! When did that happen ?"
She knew he was gonna rise quickly, had that feeling - he was smart, asked questions and knew his limitations - but she did seem surprised as how fast, still.

Talk about him being a sneak, he could sense it and soon saw it. "Shall I say the same for you, or leave it as being obvious." he stated, raising a brow. He didn't fancy his hair being loose but he'd get used to it. One gloved hand, that was another thing to get used to, raised to brush the ash blond hair from his face and tuck the strands behind his ears.
"Earlier this evening. I asked someone for a trip to the rift, I wanted to turn in a few orbs of energy." He spoke, not going in to details. "And yourself?" He asked, staring at her and taking in her new form. It suited her. It seemed she had a good handle on teleporting, somehow he had the impression she was the sort to work hard on that by teleporting about the city until she had it down to a precise art. But that was just how he saw the General.
"I apologize for being distant since our first meeting. I've been rather occupied as of late."

"I guess that's just obvious." She said, amused. "Oh, hm..." Her own gloved hands - really, gloves were such a wonderful thing, where had glove been all of negaverse career she had no damn idea - tapped against the table. "Two weeks... Three maybe ?" She spoke as if the hours, days and weeks kind of just blurred together, which was the case.
Being a General, she'd found, was busy work - there was so much to oversee and understand, and the current matters did not help her workload any. These were big shoes to fill, indeed, and Fluorite was still kind of stumbling her way in them.
She knew what she had to do. Train. Oversee. Eliminate the bigger annoyances so that the lieutenants and captains could do their work more safely, if only a little.
"I got promoted, then on a few days later I was off to launch an attack on the surrounding." She gave a light chuckle. "So that was probably one of the reasons why..." Well, that and the information she'd gotten, most likely. As far as she knew, she had been the only one to get a senshi to talk, if only slightly.
She was oddly proud of what.
"Oh, it's totally fine." She said, dismissing his worry with a wave of her hand. "We all get busy... Happens to every one of us."
She grinned. "So, im going to do a complete blind stab in the dark here, and say you either want to learn how to teleport, or learn how to use your new weapon." Really, learning how to ******** teleport had been her first god damn priority when she'd gone captain.
Teleportation was so handy... And in the short time she'd been general, she had learned to throughfully abuse it - to the point that she couldn't think of being without now, without the power to go wherever she needed to go with simply a thought.

Quirking his lips he watched her. Gloves were nice, but odd, he figured with his new weapon it was a good thing. They were also nice to have for the colder weather also. But mobility and dexterity wise...he'd get used to it he supposed.
"I've been wanting to get up there but I had no one to go with. I didn't think it prudent to go on my own." Given he'd been a Lieutenant not but hours ago. Going alone, and not knowing who was up there, not exactly a safe thing in his book. "I still want to go up, if possible. I've been helping with the youma search down in the Rift and gathering energy as usual." So he hadn't been idle even while stuck down here on Earth. He wanted to see space though, longed for it perhaps.
"Got it in one." Pointing a finger at her with a smile. "As much as I would love to have your help with weapon training I'm going to ask General Painite." Deciding to show her, rather than explain the reason, he stood up and turned to face her as he summoned his new weapon. Taller then he was he had a...paintbrush. The same weapon as before but just larger - alot larger.
"I figure given General Painite's weapon it would be a good idea to ask her about this." Handling it would take time, so he got the hang of balancing it and not hitting himself or someone on his side.
"I want to learn to teleport. With what's going on, and having already run into an eternal senshi twice, I think it's a good idea to learn it as soon as I can." Just in case he got in to a situation where he needed to get away, and faster than his feet could take him.
"I've been doing some training already with General Painite, not like this though...as a Captain. I plan to tell her soon." Fluorite was the first he was telling, and showing. "I went out one evening with General Wolframite also...." Trailing off, wanting to keep the memories of that evening on the back burner for now. Biting his bottom lip as his weapon vanished he sat himself back down, on the bench seat this time.
"I thought of no one better to help me with teleporting...and that energy gathering trick you showed me." He knew it wouldn't be easy and would take time, but he was willing to put the time and energy in to it. It would put more distance between himself and realizing and accepting the truth of not only that one night but one other night which was similar. Though Fluorite would be proud, surely.

"It's... kinda rough. And odd. I pretty much went in this blind with only the basic facts about how it worked, and given that, I... think I didn't do too badly. I mostly ended up gathering information rather than do any true damage, but.. We need to know as much as we can."
She had gotten information, mostly - there was at least one area of the surrounding that had rapid healing.
There were either civilians, or powered beings that refused to power up, up in there, and that was pretty damn worrying.
Also senshi are assholes, but that certainly was nothing new.
Then Benitoite revealed his weapon, and Fluorite seemed a little perplexed. The temptation to joke that he might be overcompensating for something was high, but she didn't know him well enough to dare.
"Yeah, she's your best bet. Im mostly a blade kind of girl. I have no idea how to work with something that big..." Really. That was one hell of a paintbrush.
"Now you're just trying to flatter me." She said, amused (and perhaps a little embarassed) at the comment of him not knowing a better teacher. She could think of plenty, really. She was still so green for a general that it wasn't even funny.
"Well, as a captain you want to keep teleporting as an escape option, or at the bare minimum. It's tempting to just dart around everywhere like Nightcrawler, trust me I know..."
Poof. Well, apparently it wasn't this hard for generals. Fluorite popped back in existence a meter or so away, in front of him. "...But as a captain it takes a lot out of you, and the greater the distance the worse it is. Try to come to me - just imagine yourself moving, picturing the place you want to go in your mind."
She hoped that made sense.

"Of course, knowledge is an equally potent weapon." Something he was learning, he was taking notes of every senshi and knight he encountered. It would help in the future he was sure, especially if he had anyone under him who he could help by giving weaknesses or telling them of certain senshi to avoid at all costs.
Laughing as she spoke of the paintbrush, referring to it's size, he laughed. "I agree, I figure that whatever weapon comes after this will be equally large - length wise." So this was like something he had to learn to handle, thinking back on Wolframite's words about the progression of weapons and why they started and changed as they did. It had made perfect sense, even more so now seeing what his new weapon was.
"Perhaps, though I prefer to think I'm being sincere as well as I don't know enough other agents." He spoke, honest and sincere as he watched the purple haired female with a light smile in place.
Escape option was the big reason he wanted to work on this, till he got it down as perfectly as he could. He didn't want to be unable to teleport himself out of a dangerous position, like that time at the public pool and he'd been trapped behind the changing building. Teleporting would have helped a whole lot then.
"Just...how do you know where your teleporting is safe, and not like right where a senshi is?" That was the one big issue. If you teleported to somewhere you knew how did you know no senshi or knight was right there and you'd be like handing yourself over. Watching her teleport he stood slowly and nodded, meditation sort of - just the clear your mind part. He had enough practice at clearing his head, or clearing almost everything from his mind, when draining energy. It was easier to drain energy the more clear his mind. Closing his eyes and slowing his breathing so he could focus more on clearing his mind, the clearer the better chance he had at this, or so he figured.
Now he wanted to get to Fluorite...Thinking of that, of the distance between them being crossed far faster than feet could along could take him.

"Short answer to that is pretty much that you don't - you don't know who might me somewhere before you're there as well... But subspace is the safest location if you're in trouble. Obviously the only way it can be reached is by teleporting or being summoned, so there can't be any enemies there."
At least she hoped.
When he started focusing, through, Fluorite kept quiet - she knew, very well, that getting it to work the first time around wasn't that easy - it wasn't like humans did anything similar to teleporting - it was a skill that needed to be discovered, then trained.
The flash of 'oh, THIS is how it works' was the hardest part.

He'd had trips down there, from other negaverse agents. So he could indeed go there now on his own, that was a good idea. Then he'd just have to rest or get a trip back up with someone else. It was also the safest idea, and the option he'd take of course. He didn't like the idea of teleporting blindly and possibly winding up right in front of some eternal senshi, handing himself over on a silver platter was not an idea which was pleasing.
Yeah, this wasn't going to come right away. He found he couldn't do more than clear his mind and get the idea into his head of what he wanted. No vanishing and popping form one place to another. Opening his eyes he glanced about, yup just as he'd thought...hadn't moved.
"I hope you don't mind standing around here with me for a while while I try this." This could take a while tonight, maybe he wouldn't even get it tonight.

Hm, it didn't look like it was working too well so far. But then, transportation wasn't exactly easy to explain - at least not for her.
"It's okay." She said, smiling. "Through I might fidget a bit. You know me." She couldn't stay in place for too long. Really, it was almost like a convulsion - Fluorite was at her best while her body was in motion.
"It took me a few hours to get it right. Alunite wanted to launch me from the building." Not her most shining moment, but it might make him feel better ? "He got it down pretty quickly but... It's probably because senshi work with magic at a base, so it might have been... instinct ? I don't know." She shrugged.
"If that doesn't work... Think on the motion ? Maybe ?" She couldn't remember what had gotten it done for her. It seemed like so long ago now...

"That would make sense....did he throw you from a building?" He asked, grinning as he asked her this. Speaking so easily as he smiled, covering up what had been bothering him as he let this here and now take over. So few times recently had he smiled and laughed honestly and had he not been bothered in some small way by his recent actions.
"Like...moving through the air...as particles?" He asked curious. Maybe that would work...or picturing the space between here and there vanishing and becoming nothing. Something would work - had to work. He would get this, even if he never really used it. He needed to learn it, for his future safety and ability to help others.
"I'll get this...I have to. And I know...I wouldn't want to stand around in place for so long either." He just needed her help, her lessons. She'd been the first to impart any wisdom upon him so he went to her, and planned to go to Painite. They were the ones he'd likely always go to for help...and maybe for mental help he'd go to Tag...maybe not.

"Thankfully, no. See, the thing with big brothers is that they're good at threatening, but not very good at acting." She fluttered her eyelashes in an overly cute way. It was obvious there was some sort of little sister magic that kept her in one place, some days.
"Yeah, kind of... It's actually a little complicated to explain, really. I mean, once you feel it, it makes sense... It's getting the right train of thought going that's complicated." Really, she found it easier to explain weak points, where to hit, and such.
She'd ended up way more of a combative agent than perhaps anyone - save maybe Tanzanite herself - might have expected.
Which didn't mean she couldn't offer guidance - now, really, her faith in the negaverse and the forces behind it was nothing if not absolute.

"I wouldn't know, no siblings. I don't spend enough time around my cousins either." And sometimes he tried to avoid them, holidays when everyone was gathered together. There was only so much and so long you could tolerate family for, the differences in how you were raised and them became too obvious.
"I think I get what your saying. And it may be different for everyone, the thought pattern needed. But I'm sure once I get it it'll all make sense." Maybe even feel right, like a puzzle piece clicking into place after being gone and you never knew it was gone.
Benitoite already knew he would not be as combat heavy as other members, it simply wasn't him. He didn't know where he fit in, but being new he still had time to fit into some niche.
"Well, let's try this again." Again he tried, eyes falling closed as he focused on Fluorite and just...the space between them being passed over, not run or anything like that, just passed over.

I'd say you're not missing much, but that's kinda a lie. I wouldn't give my brother away for anything in the world." That much was a given, especially if you knew that she had unknowingly defied fate itself in order to assure her brother's place at her side.
He started to focus again and she went silent, instead stretching a bit. Looked like they'd be here for some time, perhaps... She might as well make the most of it.
Too much longer and she was calling a pause for edibles, through.

"I'd rather a brother than a few of my cousins." A sibling wouldn't be all that and, someone to keep him company at social functions and raised like him. So there wouldn't be the same issues there were with his cousins at times. He hadn't seen them in a while thinking on them...
Thankfully it was before that when he managed to vanish from where he'd been standing all too long, working on the teleporting thing. When he did appear his cheeks were flush and he gave a sway
"Wow...felt...well like you said. But it's a head trip." Threw his balance off. Suddenly standing in one place and then being some place else, it threw ones balance, he figured that could be worked on with practice. At least he'd managed it but he felt rather tired. The idea of taking an energy orb wasn't a bad idea right now, appealing even.
