Background (Personal Story):
Jax hasn't had the easiest life. Orphan. Rogue. No money, no food. But she wasn't exactly the petite type. She had strength, and knew how to use it. Hell, a thug trying to get in her way was a bug. And she was a sparrow.
Roaming the streets, hitchiking on carts, stealing food. Childhood wasn't so.... Fruitious. However, her teen years were. Being taken into the Crowes was the best employemental move in her life. It gained her respect, honour, money, food, and, a few bedwarmers, if you know what i mean. However, she wasn't bedded till 16 and by only one person. She isn't the sluttiest person, so she hasn't even spoken about it since then. And it was one of the most charming Elves of the lot. His name, she won't ever say. His face.... Tanned, and a tattoo by his left eyebrow. His hair... Blonde. That is all. And after the night, he left her two daggers. His, two daggers. Antivan-Made. She never let them go since.
At the age of 18, Jax was sent on a trip with a few other collegues, to a high mountain in The Bannorn, upon it, they were said to have met with a trainer of the Crowés. This didn't happen. They'd been betrayed. All of her collegues and herself were said to have been ' too loose '. In other words, too dangerous for the Crowés.
Outraged from them being upon her nesting place, a High Dragon swooped down from the skies, and landed on the edge of the mountain. It was a long, engaging and insidious battle. The Dragon had killed almost all of her teammates, and almost Jax herself. With the Dragon fighting, she knew what she had to do. She took up both of her daggers, and began to sprint forward at the Dragon. It swung it's head, trying to clasp her in it's jaws. She didn't take that, ducking down, she skidded under the head, and thrust her daggers up to slide them into and across it's long neck, and throat. Slitting the windpipe and fire gauge. With it wounded and distracted, she stuck the blade into it's thigh, and began to climb up. Reluctantly, it throw itself about, trying to get the poor girl off. She still had none of it, running swiftly across it's neck, she got to the head, and thrust both blades down into the head, skull and brain of the Dragon. One last cry - and it was done.
But her teammates. None survived. Jax was alone. And forever would despise the Crowés for what they had done.
This, is the story of Jax Flinch. Otherwise known as, ' The Tale of Birds '. It's told all over the Antivan Region to younger adults, and only to the most dangerous. Mostly to warn them about her.
If it is true, however, is unknown.

Companion Quest: Picking the Bones Clean:
After gaining enough friendship/rivalry points with Jax, she'll ask you to follow up on a lead she's been tracking down. When travelling to the new point on the map alongside Jax, you would find a burnt-out village alongside strewn corpses which are littered about the place. Giving Jax some time to think, she will reply with the statement that this was the last village that her and her collegues stopped off at, before continueing with their own journey. Walking to the centre of the village, she'd suddenly look up and point to a huge mountain standind before them. This is where Jax says they should head toward.
Upon making your way up the Mountain, various Crowé Assassins will jump out in an attempt to fight you. However, they won't be much of a threat, and can be dealt with quite easily. Reaching the top of the Mountain, the first thing you will see is a large set of bones, accompanied by many already-rotted-out corpses. Jax will rush forward toward the big set of bones, and will clear the air that this is actually a High Dragon that she had previously killed, and that had previously killed her collegues. (Which are the corpses that are spread around.)
However, out of the shadows will step a higher-up Crowé, by the name of Terin, who will reveal that he had been given the task of hunting Jax down. He claims that this little act of kindness was a suiting end to such a glorious Assassin that Jax used to be. (The whole journey, going through the village etc.) Then, various mages that he had hired will begin such a ritual that will consume the bones of the dragon, and the corpses of her collegues, and bring them to life once again. You will be fighting the spirit of a High Dragon and various weak corpses. However, when this is finished, you will be able to take down the Mages and Terin once and for all.
When it is all finished, Jax will finish Terin off herself after gaining some information from him. After stabbing him repeatedly, she would begin to violently toss him from the cliff. Being so worked up, she would storm from the area and remain quiet until she reached camp.
After talking to her back at camp, she will apologise for being so rash and reward you with a ' Dragonbone Dagger ', which she said she had fashioned herself. You will gain more insight into her past, but she will also hint that this wouldn't be the end of their meetings with the Crowés.
Curiosities:
- It is said, after killing the beast, she ripped out the teeth of the Dragon and then fashioned them into Daggers, which now are clipped to her belt.
- The two daggers she has are Antivan-Made, which have swirled, gripped hilts, and thin, blades at both ends. However, the lower end is shorter. They are both made from steel, Sylvanwood andblood.
- She has various tattoo's all over her body. Some say they are to mark the slashes the Dragon took at her. However, Jax does have scars. Alot of them. All over her body. And, infact, there are three seated on her face. One by her lip, the other by her cheek, and the last under her eye.
- She has absolutely piercing, and decieving, purple eyes. Why, noone knows.
- Jax has a fetish for Sylvanwood. Seeing as it is stronger then most metals, and is rarer then diamonds.
