Creatures were more sluggish, plants were smaller and the preybeast migrations had become a touch more unpredictable. Call her a doomsayer, but the signs all pointed towards a drought, and one that was set to cause problems throughout the rest of the year. While it wouldn't cause too many issues with her on a personal level because she followed these beasts, she suspected that it would cause conflict, strife and other such issues with the lands more permanent residents.
Alas, there was no point in her worrying about such things and as a consequence she gave a series of long stretches, flexing her claws and tail to their greatest length. It was time for her to move on, the preybeasts were still on the horizon but they had placed distance between themselves and her. Rather than delay further, she gathered her wits and set about descending the small slope she had been resting on for the evening.
A little food and drink sounded like a good idea at the moment, though she would only seek something small... her appetite wasn't that big this morning!
