Anybody here read the horror Uzumaki by Jinji Ito?
inhabitants of a small Japanese town of KurĂ´zu-cho as they become obsessed by the occurrences of natural and artificial spirals around them. The result of this obsession is a slow transformation into something other than human, leading to a gruesome, realistically depicted death.
Fun fact, Uzumaki means Spiral. this is vitally important to the plot in a way, people who read Uzumaki know why.

I wasn't aware that this was a manga (or novel?). There is, however, a movie based on this that I've been wanting to see for a while. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my netflix account before this came up in my queue >.<

I OWN THE THREE VOLUMES!!! I read it aorund a year ago, an dI watched the Drama as well. I love Juji Ito's works, such as Gyo and Hell Star Remina, they his manga always leave me with a sense of doom and no escape DX
