He needed to find someone. He wasn't sure who, but he needed to find someone to tell.
Valhalla had just left Chronos Outpost after a brief but very informative meeting with a captured Dark Mirror Senshi. His heart was still racing as he searched almost aimlessly for someone he could speak to. Trying to focus on picking up on the right energy signal was impossible, and all the civilians hanging around didn't make things any easier.
After asking around for a little bit though, Valhalla was pointed to the Virgo Outpost. He decided that speaking to the Captain of the Zodiac was his best bet at the moment, especially since she was one of the few he'd actually seen in combat. He'd seen a few others, of course, but Virgo was actively trying to protect everyone.
And now there was an emergency. If the DMC was somehow finding a way into the Surrounding, then they needed to do something about it, and fast.
Sailor Ganymede was the first person he saw that he recognized, and quickly made his way over to him where it looked like he was currently trying to convince a couple of dirty young teens to take a bath. But now wasn't the time for baths. Now was the time to somehow increase the defense of the Surrounding.
"Ganymede, have you seen Captain Virgo?" he called, hurrying over to him and trying not to look as much of a nervous wreck as he felt. Any moment, he was expecting the place to fall under attack. He didn't wait for an answer, but took off down the center of the room towards in as much of a hurry as he possibly could without actually running.

Ganymede was indeed attempting to convince people to bathe, and while Valhalla seemed a bit distracted and unappreciative of his efforts to keep the outpost from smelling like a pig sty, Ganymede considered this to be very important work, and so was quite startled and confused when Valhalla approached him, asked his question, and immediately began walking on his way without even bothering to wait for an answer.
The senshi of Lust stood and blinked in much confusion, before turning with a final stern glance toward the civilians in question and heading after his frequent patrol partner.
"Where are you going off to in such a hurry?" he asked, trailing after him before quickening his steps in order to catch up. "Normally when someone asks a question they wait around long enough to hear the answer... which would be, no, I haven't seen Captain Virgo, at least not in the last few minutes."
He tried to think of the last time he had seen her, in case that should help Valhalla at all, but he seemed pretty focused on heading in whichever general direction he'd picked and, in the end, Ganymede was unable to recall.
"So... is something wrong? You don't look as if you've had a good day. Where have you been? And why are you stalking through the place like that? I can't tell if you're pissed off or scared shitless." He didn't think he'd like either circumstance, to be honest. Valhalla mad was very displeasing, and Valhalla scared meant there was something bad going on.

Virgo was on the third floor, maintaining a vigil over Cancer, when the word that a Page was looking for her drifted up. She assumed, of course, it had to be Celsus; why would any non-Zodiac page be looking for Captain Virgo? Most everyone else just called her Soldier, unless...
Unless they needed the Captain of the Zodiac, someone with authority.
Her stomach clenched then. What could be wrong? Another attack like the spider youma? She didn't even remember what had happened after a certain point--her spell must have ended, she knew, because she no longer felt concussed and her head wasn't bleeding. Only, she'd been having weird nightmares... It didn't really bear consideration. Not while civilians still populated her homeworld. She had to concentrate... concentrate on keeping them safe, on ending the threats towards them.
She had to.
So when she heard that a Page and a senshi were seeking her, she rose from Cancer's bedside and left, locking the door behind her. She met them on the second floor, every inch the Captain with her chin held up high, though she stood at least three inches shorter than the both of them. "You were looking for me?"

Valhalla didn't look over his shoulder as he heard his patrol partner come up behind him. Instead he kept looking this way and that, before finally being pointed to the stairs by some civilian he hadn't met before.
"DMC got into the Surrounding," was all he said for a few moments in response to whether he was angry or scared. He was a little of both, but he didn't have time to really think about what he was doing, other than finding Virgo. And despite not going into details, he knew that Ganymede should know what he was talking about. He'd been there for the meeting when Kallichore and Europa shared their own experiences about the newly formed DMC. It was what officially pulled the Jovians together for the first, and so far only time as a whole.
It was bad enough that there were youma somehow getting into a place that was supposed to be a sanctuary of sorts. These civilians weren't supposed to have to worry about things like being thrown through mirrors by some crazy b***h on a power high.
He would have said more had he not caught sight of Virgo as she approached him and Ganymede from the other side of the room and nodded in confirmation about looking for her.
"Captain, we have a situation," he said, figuring it was best not to sugar coat anything at the moment. "I don't know if you were aware of the Servant of Chaos who was captured at Chronos Outpost, but she's a Senshi from a group called the Dark Mirror Court, lead by someone called Ares. They're using the mirrors to get in."
Thankfully, the senshi was being kept under close watch and nothing should happen, right...?

"Wait, wait, wait! What?!" Ganymede sputtered and gasped out as Valhalla broke the news to him. He quickened his strides even more as the page was pointed in a direction taking them up to the second floor.
First youma, now this? What the hell was going on?
Ganymede had yet to have an encounter with any of the Dark Mirror senshi, but after hearing about them from Europa and Kallichore and knowing what court they used to belong to, it wasn't a confrontation he was looking forward to. The knowledge that one or more of them had somehow gotten here of all places made him anxious and instantly put him on alert. He itched to summon his phone and send a message to Europa, but couldn't be sure it would work out here. He didn't even know if she was in space or still on Earth.
He followed Val the rest of the way, only slightly relieved that they were able to find Virgo so quickly, and he rushed to continue the explanation once the page was done apprising her of the current situation. "Ares used to be the leader of the Blood Moon Court. They kidnapped and tortured some Negaverse officers before. I... I don't know all the details, but something happened and now she's apparently some princess leading these Dark Mirror senshi. Val and I know someone who used to be part of the BMC. She was there the night it happened. She told us... the rest of us... the Jovians, I mean. I think she said there were a couple of others who turned, but that was about two months ago, so I don't know about now. They're like corrupted senshi, but not."
He glanced at Valhalla to check his expression and see if he was doing a good enough job explaining it. It would have been more helpful if they'd had Europa or Kallichore or even that BMC cat here, but he supposed he and Val would have to do for now.

A situation? Why in the world would they be seeking her out for a situation right now, she'd just had an attack by a monster...
It seemed Chronos had as well. Virgo's olive complexion went immediately chalky, as if all the blood in her body had suddenly left it. Chronos Outpost had been attacked by a Chaos creature? (It didn't matter if they were human or monster; anything corrupted by chaos was by her definitions a creature. They didn't deserve to live.) No one had bothered to tell her, why had no one bothered to say anything to her? "I didn't know, no," she said, and she had to wonder... who had it been, who--
"They're using the mirrors," she said, blankly. "Like the parallels?"
She'd never trusted them. No, never. Listening to the combined tales of Ganymede and Valhalla, the color slowly returned to her face. Not because she was reassured. No, Virgo was... angry. "Then we should cover the mirrors," she said, grinding her teeth together. Troublesome nightmares be damned, they had to protect the Outposts and the civilians in their care. She doubted corruption could occur on the Surrounding if it were in full function, but it was shattered, more shattered than before the original ritual they'd performed, and people were dying. "What else do you know," she demanded, linking her hands behind her back and assuming the most authoritative stance she knew. "Tell me now."

"Exactly like the Parallels," he confirmed, although it would make sense since Ares is a Parallel, herself. He glanced over at Ganymede when he explained the rest of the story, nodding in agreement with him as well. It was nice to have someone to back up his story since, well, his head was in a million places at once, it seemed.
Valhalla stared at Virgo when she demanded to be told what else they knew, his eyebrows drawing together only slightly in disapproval. That was kind of he idea, anyway... to tell her everything they knew. "Do you think just covering the mirrors will be enough?" he wondered, not convinced that fabric would be enough to hold someone from the DMC out of the Surrounding if they can get in so easily.
"It doesn't make sense, though. Zirconia herself told us that they shouldn't be able to get through mirrors that they haven't seen. Unless they were already here?" he suggested, not liking the sound of that, even if it was from his own mouth. The idea of members of the Dark Mirror Court wandering around among them, possibly as civilians... No, that couldn't be possible.
"What else did you want to know?" he asked, not sure what other information she needed. He'd shared just about everything he knew, of he'd at least summarized what he knew. And then something jumped from the back of his memory, something that Kallichore had said. "Ares can change people by throwing them through mirrors she creates." She... couldn't be creating mirrors that would get them into the Surrounding, could she...?

At Virgo's show of authority, Ganymede found himself widening his eyes and lifting his hands up in a gesture of innocence, first shaking his head in a silent "I don't know anything," before nodding along to everything Valhalla said.
"That's all I remember," he insisted. "I don't know anything else. They're bad and they come through mirrors is about the gist of it. I didn't even know there was one here until Val came zooming on through."
He glanced to the side at his partner, slowly lowering his hands when he felt as if he'd made his point, shifting from foot to foot a bit uncomfortably. "There's got to be tons of mirrors through all the outposts. It could take a while to get to them all, and then what if there are some we don't manage to find? Maybe we should get some of the others together, start regular patrols up here or something."
It seemed like a huge undertaking, and there were so many things that could go wrong, so many answers they still didn't have. Then again, protecting Earth was a huge undertaking in and of itself, and they'd somehow been managing that decently. He just worried about their split attention being taken advantage of.
"If they can get here, you don't think they can get to other worlds, too, do you?" he wondered, glancing first to Val and then to Virgo, leaving it up to them to pronounce judgment on the subject, as he didn't have a clue -- though he hoped not -- and just the thought of it was overwhelming. The castle at Ganymede itself had a whole hall of mirrors. He didn't really like the idea of anyone coming through them to cause havoc.
Again, he itched to get a message out to Europa and the others.
"I can call people," he suggested. "Europa might have a better idea of what to tell you than me and Val. She actually met one of them. I can try and get into contact with her. I'm sure she'd want to know. It's sort of a personal thing for her..."
