So much time had passed since the disappearances of Shira and Miakoda. Though it was long, the time of mourning wasn't over yet - at least, for the Nurse Priestess, who had worked alongside them to initiate rogues into the Mwezi'Johari. It didn't seem so long ago that she last saw their comforting faces and heard their friendly voices, but time had passed enough so that the pride had found a replacement in Stellaluna.
It almost seemed like that act sealed the fates of the two; it was reasonable, however, that if the pride's guards and scouts could not find the lionesses by now, it would be unlikely that they would show up soon, unless events took an unusual turn. She could only hope that the they were with the Great Lion now.
The days, of course, were still like this for the lioness - dreary thoughts plaguing the mind, especially with her mate, Uchanjaa, gone for most of the day. It didn't help that other pride members were still gossiping about the situations, either. But that was only because it was still an item of curiosity and question - who knew who the Great Lion could spirit out of their ranks next.
She wandered out from her den and into the middle of the pride, where others were. She sensed that perhaps Selene had passed by with their murmurings about the princess and that "prince from another land". But did that mean Uchanjaa would have been nearby, too..? Blue hopeful eyes scanned the area, looking for someone who wasn't busy she could ask.

Things were chaotic for the pride and even more so for the indigo lioness who's mind could be muddled at times. Even so she was all to curious about what was happening and the gossip that flitted back and forth throughout the pride. She wouldn't always engage in conversations, such as now where she instead chose eavesdrop to pick up what she thought would not be as readily offered to her.
Though hearing the same thing over and over again helped her memory. Short-term memory loss was a tragic thing she had inherited from her father but it was far better than his, she actually seemed to remember most things most of the time.
Now she kept hearing about the princess and the newcomer bonding. How fascinating! It'd probably make a great story to spin and tell the cubs she told stories to from time to time. Especially with the rumors of the princess's love in the slave she formally stuck around.
She seemed to wear a silly grin as she sat, listening keenly.

As she peered through the couple of lions scattering, strolling about, she noticed a particular purple lioness just sitting in the middle of everyone. From memory, she could recollect that the purple lioness had a lot of other siblings in the pride and were upper middle class. But the name?.. Hmm.
She made her way slowly towards the purple lioness, watching her movements - but there was none. It was a curious sight, just seeing someone plopped there with no particular activity or obvious interest in what was happening - and since the purple lioness was not high class, she obviously had a duty to be doing...
She couldn't blame anyone, really, though, as she had been out of work for a long while. Always ready and eager to be working, idle time was simply disastrous and horrible for the pale lioness. It was odd to see someone content with sitting around.
But still, she watched, unaware that she was being rude by staring for a long while. Luckily, the purple lioness didn't notice her approach yet.
