It had been two days since General-King Zinkanite had told Jarosite what he needed to do. Two days since he'd been warped to Negaspace and told that being merciful to the senshi wasn't okay. Two days since he'd been told to either kill her or corrupt her. He hadn't been Jarosite in those two days, only wanting to spend time with Odette and not having the Negaverse or the Senshi being able to find him. Hiding? Oh he definitely was. He couldn't kill someone, even if he despised her so much. He couldn't commit that inhuman act.
But could he corrupt her? He'd seen Alkaid and the other corrupted, black holes in their chests and foreheads, dark fukus. But... what actually happened to them to become corrupt like that?
He'd asked across the crystals if one of the corrupteds could meet him on the roof of the TV store, across from the park, to talk. And so he waited, sitting near the edge, gazing up at the stars.
He wanted to ask questions about their existence. And just talk with one in general. They always seemed so secluded.

Alunite hadn't been too far away when the call for a corrupted senshi went out. He'd been perched on the tallest building in the area, crouched and watching, combing for auras.
He'd noticed many lieutenant auras around, probably frantically gathering energy. So this was where he had settled. He wasn't doing much, per-se, but he was still there. A reminder.
More specifically, a warning. His aura carried far, strong, streaked in purity and corruption. The lieutenants below had nothing to fear of his presence.
But whatever senshi or knight would enter this area, on the other hand... Probably had much to fear for.
The call came, a general call rather than one destined right to him, and his crystal took form in his hand. Someone needed a corrupted senshi ? Strange They didn't sound frantic enough to be in trouble. Curiosity ?
Perhaps.
"Coming." He said, simply, and dismissed the crystal, standing from his crouch and stretching a bit. Jarosite didn't get to wait too long - one second he was alone on the rooftop, and the next he wasn't, Alunite having teleported over with an almost frightening speed and accuracy. Ah, this was one of the lieutenants he'd felt earlier.
"You rang ?" He said, trying to push down his nervosity and instead pull out a carefree front. He never knew, when someone first asked for him, what they reactions to him would be like - if it would be a civil conversation or if he would end up screamed at.
The 'younger' agents oftem seemed to be more open to the idea of senshi among their ranks than the 'older', however.. Perhaps because they hadn't known anything else.

The energy signature shocked Jarosite for a moment and he almost feared that Alkaid had come. That corrupted didn't terrify so much as creep the hell out of Jarosite with all the cracks in her skin. But it wasn't as... oozy, as hers. He turned and looked at the black and purple corrupted senshi before nodded his head. "Ah yes, I uh... wanted to ask some questions, if that's alright?" he asked, gesturing to the space of roof next to him.
"I'm Jarosite, by the way. You can sit, if you like. It's not like this is going to be really formal or anything. You guys just seem.. I dunno, secluded? since the rest of the higher ups don't seem to like your existance in the Negaverse." He'd noticed from the last meeting that the corrupteds had stayed together and there as a general air of staying away from them. Didn't help that the DMC had dropped in too, but that was another issue entirely.
"So... I guess my first question is, how did you become corrupted?"

Thankfully for Jarosite, Alunite wasn't oozing anything - energy or otherwise - through the sight of his starseed floating into the crack of his chest was probably also pretty high on the creep-o-meter.
Alunite barely even noticed it anymore, to be honest. Barely even thought about it.
He sat on a air unit, and seemed plenty comfortable with it. "I wouldn't call it secluded... Not when you know the right people to be with." There were some of the higher ranks that at least tolerated him, some that genuinely enjoyed his presence, even. "And the Rift is a dangerous place for us to be in, hence us bunching together with stronger agents on the outsides. The youma... like us even less then than the most aggressive agents do, and are even less shy of showing it."
Alunite liked being in once piece. Ence, Alunite only went inside the rift when it was truly necessary.
"I am Alunite." He said, simply. No sailor, no nothing. Just Alunite. It suited him best this way, he felt. One leg crossed over the other, idly.
"Just like you were recruited. Well... That was the intent, anyway. There's no way to tell if a starseed belongs to a civilian or to an unawakened senshi until someone tries to change it. I just so happened to be the latter, and instead of killing me, they took me."
If Alunite's expression meant anything, it hadn't been a very pleasant process - pain in his eyes and memories dancing at the forefront of his mind. "I am not entirely sure how it truly work, to be honest. I don't remember much after it... started." After Tanzanite had crashed down with Metallia's power into his starseed, burning away at what would have made him 'pure.'

Jarosite forced himself to not stare at the floating starseed nor the crack in his chest. That was just too damn creepy. He listened quietly, nodding occasionally as the corrupted senshi spoke. The experience for Jarosite had been more painful than anything he'd felt before, even heart break. He couldn't imagine what it would be like for a senshi. Torture? Almost death like pain? He shuddered to think about that.
"What do you think of the "good" senshi? Do you think they should all be corrupted or have Ares do... whatever it is she does to them?" he asked him, curious what he thought about the ones not... fortunate? to be a part of Chaos. He also just wanted to change the subject, and figured he was going to have some issues staying on topic. His mind just kept jumping from topic to topic. Hopefully that wasn't too bad.

Alunite didn't seem to mind - hell, on some level he was glad for the change of subject. Just because he was willing to talk about it for the benefit of the agents who wanted - or needed - to know didn't mean that he liked to talk about it.
Didn't mean that he liked to revisit these memories.
"Some of them have potential." He admitted. "But most of them... Most of them seem so deluded. Like if they only see what they only want to see, only understand what allows them to hang onto their disillusion. I think some of them might never understand." He sighed. "Those who do... will be saved. I hope."
He had to admit - it got a little lonely, sometime. The other negaverse senshi... Didn't seem to do much, for the most of them. Some he had never managed to get close enough to know their names.
The dark mirror... Was still an enigma, for him. Certainly not enough to come to a conclusion, unlike so many who had seemed to jump to conclusions.
"What do you think about them ?" He asked, curious. Most of the agents seemed to loathe senshi - not that he could blame them - but the fact that Jarosite was here, asking him questions he'd been rarely asked, was interesting in itself.

Jarosite slid his silver gaze over the city for a moment before replying. What he was thinking of saying might make him end up in front of the General-King again, or worse.. in front of Tanzanite. He shuddered a little.
"In all honesty? Ares scares the s**t out of me. So does Tanzanite. Those two leak so much energy, its over whelming. And... I've heard sort of what the dark mirror senshi did to some of the Negaverse. I'm... wary of most of them, to be honest, simply because I'm not sure where they're loyalities lie. Just cause they're powered by chaos doesn't mean they're on our side," he said with a shrug, spinning a pick between his fingers.
"I'm sure they'll become useful, but who will become useful to whom is something I'm curious to see. Regardless, I'm just doin' this to keep my family safe. I'm not out to kill anyone, civilian, senshi, or Negaverse alike." Jarosite flipped a pick into the air, eyes sliding back over to Alunite.
"What do you think of us, anyway?"

There were many worse people to blabber at, really. That wasn't quite what Alunite had meant with his question, but those were indeed interesting answers. His face showed interest in what the lieutenant had to say, but little in the way of judgement. It certainly wasn't his job to keep the negaverse in line.
"Well, I can see how Tanzanite could be scary." Well, no s**t. He had to admit that, to some degree, he still feared the youma queen even now. He knew how ruthless she could be, and he'd been in positions where his loyalty had been the only thing keeping him alive. "Ares, well... I doubt we will ever have to answer to her directly." She led her own, Tanzanite and Zinkenite led their own. That was that.
Not out to kill anyone... Alunite wondered how long that could even last, but thankfully seemed to know better than that. "For your family, uh... That's a noble goal. I figure that's why I fight, too. For those I care about." For his parents, for his aunt, for Sebastian...
Ashley, well... She certainly didn't need anyone to fight for her.
The question seemed to catch him off-guard, and it was Alunite's turn to stare out at the city lights. "I understand the need to fight... Even if I wish it wasn't so. My sister should be out shopping and doing teenager things, not leading an army into battle.... There shouldn't be a war to begin with... But now there's no way to end it easily."
It could only end in blood, and he had to play his part in it. That was all. What would happen after that, well... He had to see if he would live to see that day first.
