Oh lord was he in trouble again. He was going to offer the lady who disliked him another duel. But now that he had some understand of what he was supposed to do, he wouldn't blunder it so badly. He also got a good lesson about the women here and how they were not like the girls at home. They weren't soft, they didn't need protection, and above all they could handle themselves without the help of a man.

He quietly approached the female Zara, made a small cough and hung his head low. "Hey I'm sorry about earlier, your a tough warrior; and I'm a clod for calling you anything but. I was wrong and you were right." He took a long hard sigh. "And I'd like to make it up to you with a proper duel- so you can defend your name which I have clearly overstepped my bounds and insulted."

"Ok. I can do that." He limbered up his body to take the duel as seriously as possible. He didn't want to screw up this time, and he was sure Yensid didn't want to see him back to soon anyway. Although he did get quite a laugh out of his ill behavior; so maybe he'd like the joke of his inability to date Firekin women.

He moved forward proud as he could be, he was giving it his all and showing off just a bit. He had to impress her this time. Then powered himself in a run and lept at her back with his paws splayed open to drag her down with his weight.

He struggled to stay on top of her small form as much as possible. It was the only way he could even have a chance of winning the duel. He had already seen last time what those claws could do if he got in range. So if he stayed square on her back least she could do was kick him with her back legs- that was the hope anyway.

So he braced his belly ready to feel her blades in his chest. He was pretty sure she'd be aiming to do some serious damage even if it was 'friendly'. He kinda owed her one in all honesty. But he was still not looking forward to it all the same.

He was certainly surprised by her attempt to throw him off so much so that she smacked him in the neck instead of his chest. He took an absent gulp for air and flailed about like a fish loosing control of the balance that he had on her. Now he was just dead weight hanging on for dear life- like a rider to a bucking bronco. Though he was still pretty heavy compared to her size so he doubted she'd move him that far. Then again he couldn't exactly breath at that very moment. So everything was really up in the air.

He toppled over on the ground from her swift movement. He tried to scramble to his paws quickly but she was ontop of him with her speed. That was the one thing he lacked- speed. He almost began to hate that he was so big. Maybe smaller he could avoid her attack. It was too late; the claws rakes deep into his face only managing to avoid his eyes by luck. But the rest had been torn apart with four clean cuts like confetti. It would probably scar, which would defiantly raise the females mood for sure.

He went to lung at the leg again and bite into it. But he couldn't see with his eyes closed and clamped his teeth shut on the air around her.

Stumbling, Zara stepped backwards, brows furrowed. Not at him, but at herself. She was more upset at herself for missing him then anything else. Again she swiped at him but again she stumbled, this time actually losing her balance enough to fall to her side. As the dust around her boy settled, a paw swiped at the sand beneath her. A low growl managed to sneak out from frustration as words finally made their way out of the Firekin's mouth.

"You win this time." They were simple, but the got the point across as she got herself back onto her feet. Zara felt no worse about losing to him then winning her first duel where she gained entrance into the pride. As the petite lioness limped off, her head turned, silver eyes meeting his once again. "It was a good match." Then she was gone, no other words exchanged and still no name for him to call her by.
