Chamese was so happy he had tied with the female. He would have felt so wrong if he had beat her out; especially not having a reason in the first place to fight her. But he wanted to meet the girl on more civil terms then just ‘SHOW ME YOUR MOVES’. So politely as before he walked up to the lioness with a smile on his face; not at all mad that she had bloodied him up some.
“My name is Chamese. What is yours?”
He flicked his tail friendly as if he meant to say he just wanted to enjoy some bodies company. She was probably going to kick his a** again for the holes in her arm though.

Zara was less then pleased about the outcome of their duel. She had no liked admitting to the tie, but it was better then losing to the fool. She had not seen a medic like Kuku had suggested but instead just walked it off, nursing her own wound. The lioness had been wanting to be left alone for the rest of the day but no, the challenger had to approach her at dusk.
"And why should I give you my name when you treat me like something fragile. No, I don't want to be protected. No, I don't want to be cherished." A snarl came out of her mouth, her brow already creased downward as she turned to look at him. "You shall not have my name."

"Well that's kinda rude don't you think?" He tilted his head. "I didn't want to hurt you in the first place. You should have bowed out before..." He nodded at her leg. "I had to convince you other-wise." He gave the leg another glance. "And I see that your WAY to strong to see a medic from that infection that's springing up in that bite. Hmmm." He raised one side of his lip unamused. "Though if you want to remembered dying from an infection to a duel from myself..." He purposelyfully irked her.
"I suppose I could make it sound like you put up a dramatic fight...but in the end you still died to me because you wouldn't see a medic." He smirked knowing that would hit a cord with her. "But if you want to keep the infection, be my guest. You'll just be on my long list of weak lionesses I have defeated in battle." The smirk widened from ear to ear smugly.
"But hold on...I don't even know your name...so I can't even tell anyone how heroic you are...so you'll just have died of an infection. Ho Hum."

"And do you consider yourself not rude?" She retorted, her very words doing nothing to mask the growl growing under her voice. "You tell me that I should have bowed out? Do you even know of the pride you just joined?! You ask a soldier to dishonor herself by doing such an act. You disgust me." Zara snarled at him, her paws pressing on the sand beneath her, her claws unsheathing. It hurt her to do so but the male was challenging her honor right in front of her. "These wounds are nothing, but to lose my honor by admitting defeat when there was none would be despicable in it's own way. I have no intention of telling someone such as yourself my name."

"Of course I have- this is why I expected more respect after our duel. Instead you sulked off and disrespected me by not ever giving me your name. You by far are a disrespect to me new or not." Now he was half wishing he did bite to the bone. He raised a lip menacingly at her. "You deserve as much respect as the sand under my paw." He squished it back and forth between his toes.
"If you don't give me a name then I plan on beating it out of you in another duel. And this time don't expect me to play so nice with you. I guess I was wrong calling you a 'lady' before. Your nothing but a common street urchin." He hissed threw clenched teeth. "Oh how I really want to rake my claws threw your hide...give you a real reason to see that medic of yours."

A duel? He wanted another duel with her? Zara held her head up, staring back at him. "Another duel with me? After how you've been, I don't think that's going to happen any time soon." She was trying to calm herself. She had a temper and she knew it and this lion was doing nothing for it. "I did no such thing as sulking. I informed those who needed to know that you had tied with me, not won as you seem to think you have."
The lioness had never asked to be called a lady by this man and now he was trying to insult her further. Telling her she shouldn't be a warrior, the gall of him.

"You informed them and didn't go to a medic!" He was concerned and rather cross at the same time. "One would think that after a duel they would go to a medic...even I saw a medic." He snarled at her. "Get off your high horse and go get that taken care of." He huffed and puffed and began to pace in front of her.
"I mean how DIFFICULT is it for you to take care of yourself?" He had no idea why Firekin ladies were so difficult. All the women he came from were so careful about there bodies and scratches they got on themselves. "And yes I'd love to duel you again- to knock it into you that you need to take better care of yourself...idiot." His lip curled again at the last word.

A growl came out, barely muffled by clenched fangs. "It's a little more important to let it be known that there's a new member in this time of droughts so that you don't mind a day's ration of water." Zara's glare started to lessen as her own anger was just turning to frustration with trying to convince him otherwise. "I take fine care of myself. I haven't died off like my father did! He taught be better then that! Don't you dare tell me how to tell how to care for myself, especially out here."

"Obviously not..." He growled and looked at her wound again. "You should just let somebody take care of it- but what do I know? I'm a male. I have parts that make me EVIL apparently too you. I just offered to take care off you. That's it! It's polite to offer to take care of somebody! But you...you threw it back into my face. As far as I can see your rude and I'd be surprised if any male wants you with a tongue and an additude like that." Of course he wasn't speaking as a knowledgeable Firekin. He was speaking like any other pride BESIDE this one.
He threw his head into the air frustrated. "Whatever...suit yourself..." He paced off in the other direction to find more normal lions to hang out with.

Zara huffed, turning away from him. It hurt to move but to prove him wrong, she wouldn't, she couldn't go see someone. Though letting her own pride get the better of her wouldn't fix it either. "Suit yourself, jerk. You won't last in this pride with an attitude like that 'round here." He not only insulted her but her father's teachings. Normally she wouldn't let that go, but the heat of the afternoon plus the wound on her leg as well as her own boiling anger did not make a good mixture for another duel.
For now, she would leave him and take care of herself. She wouldn't let one lion get her down. She hadn't lost the duel earlier and that was what really mattered to her. Her honor was still in tack and she was still a soldier for this pride no matter what he said.
