Having his arm back seemed to be a miracle of nature as it was starting to get a bit numb due to the fact that it seemed like Cass seemed to be holding on to it hard enough to cut off circulation. Once he found himself in the room the first thing that hit him was the stench.

His blush faded away fast replaced with a pale pallor and an oddly lurching stomach. He rested his hand on his restless gut as he paused a moment waiting for the others to catch up to him.

Ugh.

Jude took a quick gander and noted the puzzle and hoped that there was a hidden genius in the group

The quiet room soon became a disconcert symphony of violent machine revving as Leon charged out of the door and into the enclosed room. He fully expected a swarm of monsters or something trying to stop them from finding this object they came in for, not piles and piles of carcasses.

meat. Meat. LOOK AT ALL THIS JACKING MEAT!

Leon cringed, practically hearing the saliva droll for the dragon's nonexistent maw. as he rolled his eyes and took a gander at the slab. "Well you cant smell it Nid, but its spoiled rotten, not good for consumption." he explained gruffly before tucking in his cloak away from the rotting mess around him and moving up to Cass and Jude.

What a waste of food.

While the smell was indeed nauseating, it just reminded him of the funk of locker room sweat to the nth power. yep, this beat that by far. "Looks like some kinda storage area for meat for butchers or something Cass." he droned out into the echoing space that made the boxer want to punch the slabs of beef. as interesting as it was, Jude seemed much more interested with whatever was on the wall and that got his own attention in return. "Found something interesting boyo?" he queried, craning his head around the cowl that refused to share its owners find with the rest of them.

The cold didn't hit him until he was kind of standing there for a while and even then it mostly affected his toes right now. They curled up a bit trying to retreat into the recesses of the shoes he wore, if he had known he'd be in a place like this he'd have worn close-toed shoes.

It seemed he pretty much grew two other heads as people came up behind him and voices talked into his ears, "I think that is what it is," he answered Jeremy, "a sudoku puzzle...thing...with pictures. I never been too good at this sort of puzzle."

He narrowed his eyes a bit at it refusing to look at anyone else, "Anyone around here good at sudoku or something?"

"Nidhogg wants to watch us suffer at our stupidity, and by us, he means me." Leon grumbled out in disapproval. He might have been a good student, but puzzles just weren't his kind of thing. No amount of playing Clue and doing crossword puzzles changed his disdain for the brain teasers.

He still took an earnest look at the puzzle, and pointed out to a spot on the paper, that was all the way at the bottom near the third column. "So if there's a bat, moon and pumpkin around that place, then another one of those can't go there. Would it be the bone or something?" he asked curiously to the other members.

Look at that, thinking outside of the ring, i'm impressed!

And just like that, all train of thought went out the door as he walked off to yell at the dragon's voice in his head.

Yom was 'napping' or at least as close to napping as an entity in one's head could be and so he said nothing in connection to her or her helpfulness on the matter though he did give her a few mental prods just to make sure she was still there only to get a small amused hissing giggles in response.

'Yesss~. Jussst like that~.'

Jude's expression darkened a bit and suddenly there was Jeremy barging in and he let him, anything to get them out of this frigid hellbox. Besides far be it for Jude to impede on a fellow Hunter doing something useful. Despite how much Jeremy made a fuss every now and again yelling at his brain-buddy.

When the puzzle he tilted his head a little and uttered, "Good work," in regards to Jeremy and even Leon who was starting to solve the puzzle without even being asked. Either way he now looked around to see what would happen next.

Leon could hear his dragon scowling in the recesses of his mind.

-Ruin my fun huh? lucky i can't scold the other creatures..-

"Aw are you pouting in there Nid, baby drwagin go waah waah?" he joked back, chuckling at the sudden change of events. Who'd have thought there was one who'd work with its bearer, he for one, never imagined that day would come. Took bad it had to be in such a disgusting place. The boxer wrinkled his nose as the scent of decomposing protein wafted in front of his face like a gruesome reminder that the escape wasn't finished yet.

"Looks like you got yourself a keeper Jeremy, wanna trade spirits?" he said with a smirk and clapping the other guy's back with a heavy violent hand, in respect for him and Elsie. -Hey, not funny meat puppet!- But the whining of the chainsaw incarnation fell on deaf ears as leon was more focused on the grinding and whirring door that made a lot of noise and then a sudden jerking halt.

"Really?" he groaned out as he flattened his palms to the doors surface and gave the slab a hefty push with nothing to show for it but another set of grinding gears trying desperately to operate. "come on what was that phrase they used to open passageways?"

The boxer groaned and put more of his back and mass into it. "More like open sesame Nid."

The house was surprisingly larger than Dominick thought. It held lots of rooms with lots of funny-looking creatures for the boo to look at. They came in many shapes and sizes, though he also noted that they all seemed to be moving around with two stick things…legs, was it? A particular stench caught the creature’s attention.

“Dude. Something reeks!” he complained, but was far too curious to stay away from the source. He bobbed through the hallways before peeking his head through a slightly ajar door. “So…small….!” Pouting, the boo wriggled through the small space before shooting into the room and rolling around the floor, just barely hanging onto his glasses. “OH HEY THIS IS KIND OF FUN—“ Laughing loudly, he kept on spinning until he bumped into something.
