Harm had enough of staying inside the medical tent she'd been put in. She had lots to do and see and hadn't had a chance to talk to anyone but Camelot and Erik for a while. She was a social butterfly. She needed to mingle from person to person in order to be happy! Didn't people realize she was more than just a broken rib? Though it was healing nicely It was still sore whenever she pushed too hard to move. But at least no one was tying her down anymore.

For a few days she thought Camelot might actually resort to that. Kinky.

Harm was now up and wandering about and needed to find the nearest person she could latch onto for some quality socializing time. Luckily, that came in the form of a girl she didn't know somewhere ahead of her on the path. Harm's smile lit up her face and she moved forward a little bit quicker to intercept the girl.

"Wait!" She moved forward and slid her arm through the other girl's and giving her a charming smile. "I'm Harmony! Wanna keep me company?"

She honestly didn't care what they did but shopping seemed like a good option...or as close to shopping as she could get in this place. Maybe it would be more like rummaging. Girly stuff was definitely in order. Lots and lots of girly stuff.

Although her arm healed a lot quicker here at the Virgo outpost than back on Earth, it didn't take Candice very long to miss being able to use her left arm. Sure, she didn't use it much at all, but having something and then having it taken away for a while really made you miss it. She held up her arm and rotated her wrists; Candice had been told, many, many times not to move her arm while it was still broken. A cackle went through her mind as she continued to rotate it. "I can now!"

There was a big smile on her face while she was distracted with her now-healed arm. Candice hadn't noticed that someone had been following her until the girl called for her attention. She was a little surprised at first, but it was just someone else that was stuck. "Sure, Harmony. Nice to meet you," she greeted with a smile. "Well, my arm just healed and I was planning to take a dip in the bath... Kind of missed the water. Care to join?"

Candice looked down to her barely clothed body. Those would have to go too. "And as you can see, I kind of lack proper clothes after ripping off so many pieces for hurt people... So we can go in search of some clothes too." She winked at Harmony. It half amused Candice that she might just have something to dress up... Something that she hadn't had for a while.

"Sounds like fun!" Harm grinned, happy enough to make a new friend. She couldn't think of a better way to spend the day outside of her little hospital bed. She figured out Candice had the same problem until recently that she had, being told she couldn't do things because of an injury. Harm's injury showed still in the bloodstains on her shirt but more than that she was all healed. But already they were two of a kind.

"A nice long soak in hot water is a good plan." Harm's hair was worse for the wear being here and she felt stiff and achy. It would be nice to step out and submerge herself in hot water. Maybe it would be large enough to swim in and stretch some of these muscles out. She was certainly excited about that and gestured ahead. "Lead the way."

She didn't know her way around by a long shot. The extent of this place that she knew was as far as Camelot let her get before he caught her and sent her back to her tent. It was never far. But now he had no reason to round her up and send her back to rest. She realized she didn't know her new friend's name.

"I don't think you told me your name."

Candice was happy to find a new friend. She wasn't used to someone just popping out of the blue like that, but she had to give people some slack. They were all in space for.... Who knows what reason. They were there and stuck so they might as well make some sort of good out of a bad situation! She smiled and looked back at Harmony and pointed. "The bath is this way, I think. Ugh... I can't wait to be clean!"

She walked backwards as she continued to lead them to the bath as well as continue talking to Harmony. Candice held out her hand. "Sorry for not introducing myself. I'm Candice Shermon!"

Once in a while she'd look back at where she was going, but soon they approached the bath. Candice looked up at it with amazement... It made her wonder how all these things could be in space and no one knew about it! Although so many bad things happened, she couldn't help but feel relaxed as she sat by the edge of the bath and took off her top and bottom. Candice stretched out her arms and then patted the area next to her.

"Come join me Harmony! So excited to be clean! But... I hope no one sees us like this... Specifically dudes..."

It’s nice to meet you, Candice.

Like her companion Harmony was wondering how such places could exist in space with no one to know about them. Everyone thought the Earth was so technologically advanced and could send rovers on mars but they couldn’t spot entire temples hidden away on planets? Which, of course, begged the question if they were even in the Milky Way. Were they anywhere she knew, somewhere she might recognize if she tried to look it up online?

When she saw the tub those thoughts went out the window. She saw swirling hot water with bubbles rising up beneath the surface and steam wafting into the air. She’d never seen such a beautiful thing before in her entire life. She stripped off her shirt and her skirt and stepped in, sighing in contentment as the hot water wrapped all the way around her body and started suffusing her limbs with heat. It was amazing. It was relaxing. Hell! It felt downright religious.

I doubt anyone will stumble across us. This place is huge!

Harmony marveled at the high vaulted ceilings and at the pristine marble. She dipped her head back into the water and looked at more frescos painted on the walls. She was quickly feeling relaxed, her coiled muscles untensing from a long while of sustained worry. If she had to be in space this was the way to do it.

So…I guess you come from Destiny City, too.” All of them did that she knew of. “I never saw you before.

Only half listening to Harmony, Candice looked at the water and smiled. She was already sitting at the edge, feeling the warmth of the water around her legs. It felt so wonderful to feel the water. Candice was ready to talk to Harmony some more, but she couldn't help herself. She dived into the water and felt the warm water all over her body. After everything that happened already, she felt like she was in heaven.

She opened her eyes under the water and just let herself stay there for a few seconds. In the water was one place where it just seemed like eternal peace. There was nothing attacking here here. Nothing to make her fear for her life. Well, of course there was the fear of the lack of oxygen...

When she felt like coming up for air, her head braced the top of the water and she flung her hair back. She wiped the water off of her face and walked back towards the edge of the pool where Harmony was. "Haha... Sorry. I guess the excitement of being clean was too... exciting?"

Candice smiled at Harmony while playing with the water. "It is quite peaceful here, thank goodness. As for Destiny City... Of course! I think every one here is from there. It's just the fact that... Destiny City is so big that it's no wonder that we haven't met!"

She walked backwards into the water again and patted the surface. "Care for a swim?" Candice winked and dunked her head into the water again. "Cleanliness... Yay!"

Harmony didn't mind being ignored so much in the first few moments in the swirling hot tub. As the blood soaked and was wicked away by the water she felt her body relax in a way it hadn't since she ended up in space. She relaxed in the same way she relaxed when Camelot came around. She felt safe. And peaceful. Kind of how she felt when she was back in Destiny City with her mom.

Most of her thoughts circled back to her mom these days. Not entirely surprising.

She settled against a jet and let the thing pound her battered body, relaxing her further. Almost all of her was underwater and she didn't mind. The swirling surface kept anything inappropriate from being seen clearly. Her hair was down, pooling around her body in a minty waterfall with emerald highlights mixed in. Wet, it lay straight and didn't wave. As Candice came closer she smiled, understanding completely why she'd lost her there for a few.

"It's ok. This feels great! I'm so happy I'm out of that tent!"

It was a lot of struggle to keep her there. She was pretty sure Camelot was sad he knew her mom now since he'd taken it on to watch out for her and keep her safe. She didn't make it easy and struggled every step of the way for independence. Then Candice dunked under the water and Harm dove after her, stretching her body and doing a short lap back and forth across the pool. It was huge but she liked to swim.

Strange how everyone came from Destiny City, though. Very strange.

"This is the life, Candice." she sighed happily, floating on her back for a few moments.

Candice stood in the water, looked over at Harmony and... Didn't really know how to respond. She neither smiled nor frowned. She knew how her life was before the Surrounding, but right now, she was just as stuck as everyone else. "I... Don't really know what to say for that," she said with full honesty. "Can't say there's much of a 'life' here and well, the life I had in Destiny City... I don't even know what's going to happen to us."

She let out a sigh and walked to the edge of the pool. It wasn't that she was going to get out, but instead sat on one of the steps that were higher up under water. Candice was just a little frustrated... It wasn't 'life' here... she was just stuck.. It was easy to see from her expression that she wasn't happy with the phrase. All it did was make her miss everything at home even more.

For the most part, she had spent it wandering around and seeing the different sites that was here. Candice found it fascinating and felt like it was a unique place to be, even though she had no choice but to be there. She looked over at Harmony again and told her straight out. "I don't like that phrase, at least, not in the situation we're in here. I don't really want to be here..."

She motioned to the bath they were in. "It's all so grand, but... not much of a 'life' here..."

Harmony wasn't offended by Candice's disagreement. She could understand why she didn't feel that way or why she might be bitter about how things were. She understood that she was lucky. No one else had been able to get messages to their parents like she had. And she'd only gotten it because Camelot knew her mom on the outside. Her mom couldn't see her but knew she was safe and Harm believed Camelot when he said they were trying to get all the civilians home again.

"I know this isn't the way any of us want to live. I'm sure you miss your friends and family but we're stuck for now. I believe the senshi are working on it so all we can do is make the best of things, right?"

For her part Harm hadn't reached out much. The only person she could say she really bonded with was Camelot and that was in a weird crush kind of a way and she wasn't sure it counted. She spent time with people and liked them but she wasn't friends with any of them. They were more like acquaintances...people that just happened to be close by. It was hard to see Candice go from being so happy and upbeat to being so...low. The mint haired girl frowned her displeasure at the sight of it.

"You should smile more. It's pretty." By extension she meant to say Candice was pretty, too. Harm found many things to like about being in space but yes, she missed home and her mom just as much as anyone else. The only difference was she didn't think about it.
