(Hel has entered)

Hel wasn’t sure what to expect when she finally stepped foot into the Haunted House, and that was part of the excitement! The great unknown. The reaper was vigilant as she moved into the room, but still excited, even when it was apparent that her team was now perched on a rather high ledge. Did the valkyrie worry about heights? No, not one bit.

The ghoul stepped further into the room as to not block the door, and took a moment to peer at her surroundings. She took note of the sounds coming from above, the figures that stood still behind them (eerily reminding her of valkyries, since they had wings and weapons), and even took a cautious gander over the ledge. Interesting. The reaper could only wonder what needed to be done, and how they were suppose to do it. Five slides…and a shoddy looking ladder. Hel placed a hand on her hip as she looked towards her other team mates, rubbing her chin with the other.

“What do you think, friends?”

((Mot enters))

"Woah!" Mot wobbled a bit as he entered, feeling disoriented for a moment before getting a grip on himself. Where were they? How had they suddenly found themselves on such a ledge?

The reaper couldn't help but look down first, giving out a long and loud whistle. "What a view." He said in a slightly sarcastic tone. There was too much mist for it to be much of a view, but he could tell; the way down was a long one. However, there were slides. Long, looping, twisting slides.
His inner child was aglow with glee.
Then again, a shiver ran down his neck, his gaze moving to the side. The metal statues almost seemed ethereal. Wrong. Off.

"Guys, I'd like to figure things out soon.. Those guys are scaring me a bit." The reaper admitted with a gulp. "But hey! Slides? How fun is that? I can't wait to try them out! I wonder which one has the most loops.." The reaper laughed nervously, trying to lighten the mood.

((Mitsu has entered!))

Her arrival was disorientating, that was for certain. Mitsu never would have imagined the slight motion sickness that would be involved as the house sorted her and her group to the right area. As she tried to gather her bearings she felt a hand take hold of her wrist as if to keep her steady, though the words didn't make much sense. Figures?

Mitsu looked back in the direction they had come her vision settling on the tall metal figures behind them. The fur on her tail began to bristle as as she stared at them, those smiles making her feel a little on edge. Despite those sadistic grins pulling their lips Mitsu was rather fascinated by their wings and weaponry.

After the initial shock of seeing the figures wore off Mitsu realized the room was filled with sound. An echoing noise of grinding gears and the pull of chains above their heads. Instinctively she looked up but couldn't really see what was making the racket. Her eyes continued to take in what was close to her like a curious child until Mot mentioned a view and Riyo mentioned slides and...a ladder? Why would they need a ladder?

As her head turned Shun's mental assumption had been correct. Mitsu's body tensed seeing the ledge they were standing on and how high they were. She couldn't really see the bottom but that only left more to the imagination of how elevated they were above the ground or whatever lay beneath them.

"W..what do we do? D-Do we have to go down?" The answer was obvious but Mitsu really wanted to make sure. She wasn't keen on getting any closer to the edge than she already was. In fact, her feet firmly planted themselves in her current position in the off chance a strong wind blew by and forced them over.

Hel cast another glanced back the statues as Shun warned them to stay vigilant, turning her body so that she was half way facing them and half way facing the ledge the slides were on. Riyo’s suggestion did make some sense…but still. Would whoever created this room be counting on them to go with that logic, and thus make the last slide the wrong one? The reaper chuckled lightly as Mot tried to lighten up the situation, and then turned her attention back to Shun as the grim reaper addressed her, and upon listening to his suggestion, grinned.

“Understood!” The reaper replied cheerfully. That was a rather good idea, after all! Hel grabbed the strap of her bag and pulled it off before laying it down at Mot’s feet. “Take care of this for me, will you, friend?” She didn’t want it to slow her down while flying…and if something happened, at least the team would have the items inside of it. “I’ll pass on the flashlight.” Hel replied, moving down the platform and away from the group, holding out a hand and summoning her weapon. “It will just hinder me.”

Hel peered down over the edge into the fog below and glanced back at her team, saluting them all. “I’ll shout when I find something!” In a silly show of enthusiasm, the reaper pushed off of the ledge with a flip, and started to dive down into the foggy depths before snapping her wings open and maneuvering to avoid the various loops of the slides. As the grim reaper had warned, the valkyrie was looking this way, but her gaze was more focused on what could be at the bottom.

Riyo's hands found her pockets as she watched the rest of her teammates cope and contemplate their situation. Oh great. Mitsu was afraid of heights.

The ghoul's thoughts went back to the strengths and weaknesses comment Red had offered at the beginning. Was this what she meant? And what about the other rooms?

... Would she have to face her fears in one of them too?

As Shun suggested Hel go scout, something went off in the feline's mind. Wait. There were other people in this group. People that could do things she couldn't, just like she could do things that some of them couldn't...

Holy s**t teamwork. She had to rely on these idiots...

Ugh...

Silently the ghoul watched Hel practically dive into the unknown, her eyes gliding back towards the other members of her team, the last being Mot... And then towards the statues he was warily looking at. Something told her they weren't there for decoration.

Nodding to Hel, Shun soon glanced to each of the others individually. It seemed that Mot was also a little on edge here, though he had a feeling Mitsu was still the one worse off in this situation. With a sort of grimace, he pulled the wolf girl closer hoping that she would relax.

Every now and then, his eyes would look over towards the metallic figures. He didn't trust them. With Hel flying down, he was expecting one or more to come to life.

Though, as Mot spoke up, he looked over at the cowboy to see what he wanted. The guy never finished his thought though. Shrugging, he just glanced to Riyo briefly, then looked down to where Hel had gone, waiting to see if anything was going to happen.

Actually...

"Mot. You have range. Get ready to provide Hel cover fire if needed."
