The Green Bedroom One of four bedrooms on the second floor, the Green Bedroom is free to use by all who can access the inner workings of Fa'e HQ. (However, it is not a permanent home and should not be treated as such.) Each of the four bedrooms contains two queen beds, a small closet, a dresser or two and a nightstand with lamp. The far wall holds a small window that looks over the common room. Shared bathrooms are located at the end of the hallway. The Green Bedroom is earth themed, with soft green walls and carpeting, and deeper green bedspreads. The wooden furniture bears a subtle leaf motif, as do the wall sconces here. Even the curtain over the inner window seems to be sewn out of leaves, though it's really fabric. A few real plants complete the effect.

Whatever was going on with the looked-like-but-wasn't-sensed-as-Aylana, she didn't know; but the Fa'e had gone off on her own, and Arrien wasn't going to hang around to see what would show up in the hallway next. Protecting Seung was her new priority; with any luck, the mothfish might be able to lead them to the rest of the kids, and if not, then at least that was one less child to worry about.
"This way," she instructed the group, ducking through the open doorway of the Green Bedroom. They could sort things out and regroup in here, and see if Seung knew anything about where the other kids were.

The first thing that strikes anyone as different is the temperature. In here it was hot, the air so thick with steam that it was almost difficult to breathe.
The ground was damp and spongy, overrun with vines and underbrush. There was the sound of water running, things rustling in the bushes and flying through the trees -- it was a jungle in here, far larger than the physical limits of the room should have allowed.
But at least it wasn't difficult to see -- there are mushrooms growing in sparse clumps all along the jungle floor, casting strong light. Though they seem to be outside now, nothing can be seen of the sky.

Morty usually didn't abandon the scene when innocents were being harassed, but knowing this house something horrible would happen to the blue woman that would allow revenge anyways. Too bad, considering he would of liked to punch her, but in truth he was a bit freaked out. She reminded him of some horror stories he'd heard about his close relatives.
So he decided it was better to follow Arrien, besides, there were small children that needed protection. That was always good. So he followed her into the Green Room without question.
It wasn't as bad as some of the other rooms, but he got a very distinct Trolls vibe from it. All those vines, and it was so HOT. Being covered in thick fur he began to sweat quite a bit, running his fingers through his hair as any gel left melted down and let it kind of bush out on its own. "Daammnnn-" He murmured under his breath, panting a bit.

Positively frightened out of her wits and trying desperately to calm the bawling toddler, Cerena darted after Arrien into the Green Room and hoped that it would not be filled with dead bodies.
It didn't seem to be, that was good. It was kind of hot, and she could've sworn she heard something snarling in the background. That was not good.
She shifted Seung's weight against her, peering nervously into the foliage.

Seung made a face at the heat and pulled off her hat. Her hanbok was fine for cool fall weather, but the heavy silk wasn't as nice when it was this hot. At least they were away from the creepy-scary-kids. Without having to compete with their screams, Seung quieted. Now just nothing else had to jump out at her.
"Hot!" she complained, squirming in Cere's arms. Her wings fanned out and started flapping to cool her down. "Thirsty!" she said with a pout. If she was going to be scared and screaming, apparently she had to be hydrated too.

Well, hey. At least Arrien was dressed right for this weather.
Closing the door neatly behind the last person (this way, anything that tried to sneak in would have to make some noise opening it, at least), the Jack-of-all-Trades peeked around her surroundings curiously. Were they really outside? Then maybe....
"... s**t, still no service," she grumbled at her cell phone, before flipping it closed and putting it away in her pocket. There was no need for its light at just this moment, at least.

It wasn't obvious just how quiet it had been until the group started chattering, and the jungle started chattering back.
It was the chatter of a large menegerie of animals -- squawking, hissing, growling, only it almost seemed to be rhythmic. At once the light-giving mushrooms were, well, abducted: little black blurs swiftly moved large leaves and other debris over them, until the only light that was left was that from Arrien's cell phone.
And then the drums started.

Thirsty? Thirsty? Where was she going to get this girl some water? Oh geez, all the food in this place must be rotten, or human flesh, and the taps probably ran blood and guts and she was not going to subject Seung to that.
"Uhmmm... Did anyone bring in a water bottle, or drink?" Cerena asked hopefully, and then promptly wanted to die when all the lights when out.
And then the drums -- oh god, this was going to be one of those Survivor things, where they would have to sacrifice one of their number to the Island God, she knew it.
...She'd pick Morty!

Seung yelped and hid her face in Cere's shoulder. Last time the lights went out things went all scary. She pressed her hands against her ears at the sound of the drums. But her ears were alot longer than her hands and she couldn't block out the sound. "Too loud...."
