xxxxThe rainy season ends and spring comes a long bringing life along with it. The flowers begin to bloom and the air is filled with rays of sun shine that has not been seen in months. A village rejoices for they can make their crops and a Kingdom throws a Ball on the first night of spring, the moon full, the air cool yet warm. The story is not set on the village as a whole nor the Kingdom, instead its set on the life a farmer’s daughter who chooses not to take account of her own misfortunes.

xxxxIt took everyone by surprise that this insignificant girl had all the significance in their kingdom, a kingdom she lived outside of. Who was this girl exactly? Why not sit down and listen to the story, the story of Eleanor Abigail Veretti.

xxxxHer birth was a joyous moment for her father, a farmer who worked diligently day after day. Though he seemed like a simple man, he lived a secret life, a life he was not ashamed of. He met a beautiful woman in his teen years and has been with her for a long time. Sadly, before he could marry her, she was wedded to the King and became the Queen. The woman that was once nobility was now royalty but it did not stop the two from seeing each out. For seven years they were together without anyone knowing and soon enough the Queen became pregnant, but instead of staying in the Kingdom she asked her King to let her be with her family in another country for a year for personal reasons and he allowed her to do so. From there she took care of her unborn child, it wasn’t long until she gave birth to a daughter.
xxxxHearing news of this from a letter, the man was happier than ever and could not wait for her to come to his home but sadly, when the woman he loved did, it was only to leave the baby with him. The Queen turned away from his love in order to be faithful to her current husband, the King. The Queen told him to take of himself and his daughter since she would not acknowledge the girl as her child. From that day, the broken hearted man raised his daughter the best he could. Never once did he falter in his diligence though at night he would sob himself to sleep, the little girl wondering why he would do so. Every year the girl grew older and she began to look like the Queen more and more, but only the father could see such resemblance for only he could see certain features on his daughter that she received from her mother. The girl grew up to have a kind heart but a weary one as well for she knew how her father suffered deeply on the inside.

xxxxAt the age of twenty, the young woman found herself invited to the annual Ball held at the castle. She was surprised she received such an invitation and could not understand why she had gotten one. Truthfully, it was because any woman who looked beautiful and was twenty and above were invited so that was the reason why. Though she wasn’t up for it, her father made her go so she could have a good time for the first time in her life.

xxxxThe King and Queen had a son a year before the Queen had the girl so the Prince was a year older then the young woman. The Prince is hosting the Ball and is also seeking a possible young woman to court. At this Ball, the young woman met a Knight very close to the Prince, so close that they saw each other as brothers. He saw that she acted nothing like all the other women who were all noble since apparently she was the only beautiful one of her class. He certainly was intrigued by her as well as the Prince after his brief in counter with her. The Ball went on for a full night but the young woman went home for something was nagging at her heart. From there, her life would change, but was it for the better or for the worse? After the Knight, who followed her took her to his home, things would begin to unravel and the truth would reach the ears of everyone.

The Rules

1. Follow the rules you are meant to follow, both Gaia and this Guild. As stated before PG-13 is not a standard and I will not mind any violence or sexual content as long as it is limited as it should be.
2. Clearly literacy is of importance and I expect to see three or more paragraphs per post. If you happen to run into my enemy, writers block" then I can understand if you only write one to two paragraphs, as long as it's not often.
3. If you are going to be gone for more then a day or two, then please notify me so that I don't assume you've become inactive. I will provide you a suggestion as to how to move your character out of the way just in case others are waiting on you, I will also provide a summary of what happened while you are gone so you don't have to read so many lengthy posts.
4. PM me if you have any personal comments or if you have any twists in mind for the plot and I will gladly go over it with you. I love plot twists and I encourage all RPers to think of one and speak to me about it. Twists make RPs all the more fun!
5. This RP is more toward mystery and a bit of Romance and I may throw in some Comedy so there may not be much violence. If you do want to fight with another character then be sure not to go over bored and remember that if you wish to kill another character then to ask the owner of said character.
6. I do hope to see post decorated nicely, other than that, enjoy the RP.
