The truck pulled up to the house and two men got out of the cab then went around to the back and dragged a cage from the bed of the truck. The two men carried the cage to the house and placed it down on the porch before knocking on the door and waiting for someone to answer. Softpaws was curled up in a ball on the bottom of the cage, ears back and tail between his legs, scared about what was going to happen to him.

Takumi slowly opened the door rubbing his eyes, tired. He hadn't gotten much rest lately, been so busy it was hard to fit much into his schedule,"What.....?"He yawned.

The men glanced up as the door was opened. "We have the slave you ordered, you did order a slave right?" They waited for an answer as softpaws glanced at the man at the door.

The men carried the cage into the house and put it down on the floor as they waited for the man to pay them. Softpaws watched, wondering what kind of Master he got.

Takumi handed him the check and looked at the cage,"open it."

The men opened the cage and softpaws curled up in a tight ball in the back of the cage, ears back and tail between his legs warrily watching the men. He was scared and didn't trust them, expecting them to hurt him.

Takumi waited for the slave to come out, he smiled and sat on his knees putting out his hand.

Softpaws slowly climbed from the cage and looked around then looked at the man who was to be his Master, watching him for any signs that he might strike out. Seeing he wasn't going to be hit he moved closer to the man and licked his hand.

Softpaws comes all the way from the cage and sat on the ground, his ears going up and his tail swaying a bit as he started to trust the Master more.

The men took the cage and left to put it in the truck and head back to the shop. Softpaws looked at the Master. "no cage? I don't have to sleep in a cage?"
