So, there were recently free 3D trailers to download in the eShop of the following:
Mario Tennis
Animal Crossing
Luigi's Mansion 2
Mario Kart
Super Mario 3D Land
Paper Mario

I think most of these are still a ways off, but does this make you more excited about them? Change your mind about buying any or not? I know I'm on the bandwagon to get Mario Kart and Animal Crossing regardless, but it was fun to see a little more of it in 3D. I'm also thinking a little more strongly about getting Paper Mario. However, Mario 3D Land doesn't interest me.

"I want to murder everyone in the entire world..."

I think I might want to try Animal Crossing. I've never played it before and I'm a big fan of games like Harvest Moon so maybe I'll like it too.

I for one is getting animal crossing, for it will be in my opinion the first wifi game for the 3ds. If I am mistaken then I apologize.

Animal Crossing is a little like Harvest Moon, but its more social than tending. It is pretty fun though, you get to collect a lot of stuff. The fishing and other gathering type activities are pretty simple, and you work on having good relationships with your neighbors. Its one of those games they want you to play for a little bit each day- your fruit trees will regrow and new stuff will be in the shop etc. I like the essence of Harvest Moon so I think you'd really like Animal Crossing too. Its not as much pressure though in regards to tending crops types of things, and you don't run out of energy. A day on AC is a real day, unless you tinker with your system clock. You can also have real friends come over if they also have a system and the game, and they can play on your game together with you. I think that's both local and wifi. I don't know what they'll be adding to the game since it looks pretty much the same as the old one with newer graphics, but we'll see. I'm perfectly happy with how it was.

I do think its one of the best poke at it type games because it pretty much can go on forever, though of course there are major goals to accomplish (like getting your house as big as it can be.) I played the original DS game for a really long time. I do still recommend that one though it may be harder to find people to play with it on since its so old. I had to trade mine in towards getting my 3DS.

I wish it wasn't so far away, I don't think there's a better date than 2012 yet sweatdrop But I do want them to take the time to do it right.

There are so many games with vague release dates who knows. I'd think its likely something else will do that by then? Otherwise that'd be pretty sad nothing was taking advantage of the wifi. Even the regular DS had wifi games.

Well I forgot to mention about SSFIV had the first wifi, but I got bored of it quickly, the only one that play it is my cousins which I don't let them anymore.

Is the Animal Crossing trailer new, or is it the same one they posted earlier?

I already plan on getting Animal Crossing. I had the original one for the Gamecube when it first came out. We also have one for the Wii, but that system is a family shared console, and my siblings are always hogging the tv. emotion_8c So I'm really glad it's coming to the 3DS. I might also pick up Mario Kart. I just hope both games are wifi compatible.

The Animal Crossing trailer actually isn't that great, its a Japanese one. Hopefully they put together a better one later.

It seems kinda silly if Mario Kart wasn't wifi. Wasn't the old one? Its all about racing against other people. Though I didn't play the DS one online much because everyone perfected "snaking" and if you didn't do it, you lost horribly.

I am in the same bandwagon, here. I am definitely getting Animal Crossing and Mario Kart, as well as Paper Mario, but Mario 3D Land just looks so boring...

I've never won online cat_crying
I liked playing online back when it just came out, because there weren't any snakers, and I actually stood a chance... I do however like going online and playing on that high traffic stage and passing all the snakers who got hit cat_whee

I'm excited for most, except for Mario Tennis. I'm a little skeptical on that one, because if you know your Nintendo history, the Virtual Boy Mario Tennis did terribly because it was just tennis without any awesome power-ups, plus the system itself doing terrible didn't help either. The trailer for Mario Tennis 3D showed no power-ups, so I'm a little worried and skeptical.

The only game that really got me going was LUIGIS MANSION 2. Luigi needs a come-back. ;3

I thought only 10 people in the world knew about the Virtual Boy... YAY! I'm not alone! cat_whee That reminds me, I've gotta save up to buy another Virtual Boy so I can play Wario Land(?), again.
