I'm like... in awe... I was browsing ebay when I saw a few music boxes and I found the company that makes them and went to check it out and found... like... 15 music boxes! Most of them play Music of the Night, three play Masquerade, One of the masquerade ones is indeed the one with the (butt ugly) monkey on it from the show, another is styled after right before Buquet falls hung in the middle of the ballet. The other is the Phantom all Red Death Style

My favorite one which got me looking for them in the first place was one of Meg and Christine (Scene would probably be "Angel of Music") and it plays Think of Me.

(I have proof for thinking Meg's gay and crushing on Christine... I do! Sorta)

I wish this one played All I Ask of You, that would be perfect, but it's another MotN.

Mmmyep, the San Francisco Music Box Company makes some awesome stuff.

There used to be an actual store at the mall near here... I was always compelled to attach myself to the window and drool on the big Phantom display when I was there. But that was the first edition, and now there are oodles more that I can't afford... *waaants the opera house* crying

Oooh! The snowglobe with Raoul and Christine plays "All I Ask Of You"... I must get it crying I'll have the money soon.

Omg. I want one of those Erik and Christine ones. ;_; I wish I could have one of those.. They're beautiful! Thank you so much for posting about this; I never would have found it otherwise.

Oh my gosh! I hadn't thought of looking these things up online. I've been busy. I say Phantom on Broadway the day after Christmas last year and I saw the music boxes. I was in shock! I hadn't even know they made those before that trip. I was so excited! Now I'm glad someone brought this up. I feel stupid for not thinking of it before.. sweatdrop

I doesn't have to do anything but sit on your nightstand and look pretty (maybe sound pretty every so often too...) heart

Obviously the Red Death one is my fav(although the "sitting on a chair" figurine is a close second)...they're definantly rather pricey O.o but they're all so exquisatly made it makes me cry crying

ivevivisted the site and love most of the mjsic boxes. i am annoyed that most of them do plau motn...someo of them shouldnt, it oesnt matc the scene it displays. i want one tho!

OMG, they have new ones (well, new since I last looked at the music box website)

I love the music boxes so much! I have the one that Hannibal Lecter M.D. has except Christine is facing Erik. It's one of my most favorite possesions.
