This is the generational home of the Orasakai family. For five generations the family have been the containers of the tailed demons of the country. Something in their blood gave the an astounding control over the beasts powers and as such they rose to a seat of power because of this. They obtained a state of royalty through the years and even now they are considered royalty in the country. However unbeknownst to the common folk, the most lavish area in the country was also the strongest of prisons for the generational jinchuriki. They live the way they did as long as they remained devoted to the country's hidden village. in the five generations of Orasakai there have been battles in which at least one member was used to turn the tides. Though it may seem like a little thing to do, The Orasakai were considered expendable resources and as soon as they began to wear down from the high octane life style of war they would be "traded up" for the next generation to take their place since the success rate of transfer was remarkably high. Of course the strain of energy loss on the body for the original holder was always to much and they ended up dying during the transfer process. The transfer was usually done at a young enough age to spread a web of lies to the new holders. Not all were capable of being jinchuriki the signature silver-blond hair was the sign they would be suitable for the duty and as such the complex still holds a majority of the family in it even to this day.

"Really, bro? Every day we go through the same routine," Kyu complained loudly from one side of a desk. A man on the other side of the desk had two containers of sushi in front of him. The ninja hovered a metal detector over the sushi. Not surprisingly, it beeped. Kyu's best pair of chopsticks laid on the side of one of the containers. The man removed the top of the case, and took out the chopsticks with his bare, unwashed hands. The action made Kyuzaku groan irritably. He slouched on the desk and tried to reason with the silent man, "Seriously, bro. Every friggen day, I come in with a box of sushi. It's my lunch. I eat the sushi, I don't hide bombs in it."

Silently, the man on the far side of the desk put away the metal-detection wand, then started scanning the sushi boxes with a chaka sensing jutsu. Should there have been an exploding tag inside them, he'd know for sure.

"You know, I get it. This is a top-secret compound. You gotta check stuff like crazy. But really. I'm a ninja. You're a ninja. Everyone here in this place is a friggen ninja. Why would I bother hiding contraband items inside a sushi box? If anyone wanted to wreck this place, they'd just do some crazy forbidden jutsu, y'know what I mean, bro? They'd blow this place sky-high, like the attack on Konohagakure you read in history textbooks. The Akatsuki never needed a damn sushi box to do bring their scheme to fruition. Seriously bro... It's just stupid."

Meanwhile, the man stopped chakra-checking the box, and whispered something into his mike. From a door behind him, another, identically uniformed ninja came out, and inspected the boxes. He picked one up and turned it in his hands curiously, then put it back down. He looked into the other ninja's eyes, and nodded, then pulled out his own magnetic security wand.

Kyu's face hit the metal desk hard...

* * *

"Yo, Sai!" Kyu said, walking into the jinchurriki's personal lounge area, "I grabbed ya' some sushi from S.S. Sushi. I realized when I was prepping my lunch that you haven't bought anything from us yet. Pain in the a** to get through the security with it though..."

Kyu put the sushi prepped for Sai outwards for the chuunin to grab, "I cut up some of the best stuff from today's load. They're tuna hosomaki. I put a bit of wasabi and pickled ginger on the side for you, if you want to try it."

The hustle and bustle in the Mist Village was larger than Musica remembered. The entire street was filled to the brim with people pushing and shoving, trying to force themselves in the same direction: the opposite way of the shinobi. Musica reasoned that there must be some sale that he had missed on his way into the village. It made him happy to see that his home had grown so much in the last year. It made him so glad that he didn't even get mad when the occasional person ran into him. “What are you, some kind of stupid?!” An unremarkable, balding man took the time to stop and ask the hooded ninja. “You're going the wrong way!” Musica gave him a kind smile, though it looked more creepy with half of his face hidden. “I don't have any interest in any sale at the moment.” He responded. The bald man looked at Musica as if he were crazy before scuttling off with the rest of the crowd. Musica dismissed the man and continued walking against the ever shrinking crowd. Slowly the crowd dwindled to the point where, eventually, the street Musica walked on was totally empty. Sounds from the rest of the village traveled over, but it was as if the street was a separate world from it. The only sound the red head could hear in the immediate vicinity was his own traveling cloak flowing behind him in a gust of wind. Not a soul stood in the street, a sharp contrast to just a few moments earlier. That is to say, no-one except for the young man plus two more.

Two men stood in the middle of the road, directly in Musica's path. One of them had close cropped, military cut white hair, and was built with slab of powerful muscle, but was rather short, standing at just under average height. He was garbed in a loose black, sleeveless shirt, olive green cargo pants, a pair of sandals, and two bands of metal on his wrists. The other man, in comparison, was tall and lean and had shaggy black hair that was topped with a black fedora. He was dressed in an entirely black suit, complete with a tie, and, hooked onto his belt, was a buckle that resembled three white and two black keys on a piano. Musica watched the two from the inside of his hood as the two men did the same. “It's 'bout time ya showed up!” The shorter man called, his voice ringing with a surety that the young man would stop. Musica kept walking, taking a small amount of glee in his defiance, and said nothing. The smaller man growled and gave the shinobi's chest a seemingly light shove. The push stopped Musica in his tracks and knocked him back half a step, which surprised him. He stood over a foot over the man and, while the man was built like a truck, Musica was weighted by his own share of muscle. And this man just pushed him as easily as a piece of paper. “I was talking to you,” the man rumbled as he gave the shadow where Musica's eyes were under a hard look. Musica met the man's gaze with his own glare, hidden by the shadow his hood cast. “What makes you think I care?” Musica responded, hiding his small amount of surprise of the power the man had. The fact that I'm the one who decides if you spend you sentence in one piece,” the man growled, stepping forward into Musica's bubble to glare up into his hood. “Or seventy-two.” Musica fought back a flinch and the instinct to throw the man. Not because he was scared; Musica hated hen people stood in his bubble. Instead he ground his teeth and continued to lock eyes with his aggressor. “Is that a threat?” Musica growled as he sent chakra through his feet, calling upon the power of Titan the give the ground a slight tremor as he spoke.

The man gave Musica a look that he had seen it before, only done better. Instead he turned his gaze to the taller man, who had been silent during the pissing match, and asked “Did you do what I told you, Samuel?” The taller man, Samuel, blinked and looked at his partner, confusion plastered all over his face. “What,” he started, scratching the back of his head as a small smile crept onto his features. “Was it you asked me to do, again?” The shorter man let out an exasperated sigh, as if the two had been over this before multiple times. “Evacuate this section of the village?” He asked, reminding Musica of a teacher that would ask a slow child the same question twice. “In case this dumb a** tries to fight and blows something up?” Samuel's face beamed as he put his hands on his hips triumphantly. “Yep, yep. I did that! One question, though, Band.” His face fell back into an expression of curiosity, and he jabbed a finger at Musica. “Who is that?

Kill them both, right now.” Musica didn't even flinch as Rodah, his other half, his sealed brother, suddenly spoke, his voice as clear as if he were standing next to the young man. “They're both distracted. Just a little bit of chakra, some of Titan's raw force, a smidgeon of Zhu Rong's fire, and we can pretend like we were never here.” Musica watched as Samuel and the older man, Band, went back and forth, as various threats and insults flew back and forth. “There's a reason our a*****e dad put us in charge,” Musica muttered, despite not having to “Because you got lucky.” Rodah muttered. “If we kill them, more will be sent after us.” Musica continued, as if his brother said nothing. “And that's assuming people aren't sent during the fight.” Musica rolled his shoulders in a shrug. And I don't feel like dying for your beliefs.” Rodah burst out into laughter. “Because I haven't heard that line in a while! As you wish, bro.

Hey!” Musica called, silencing Samuel and Band instantly. He pulled back his hood, revealing a playful smirk that crossed his features, his shaggy red hair blowing in a breeze that brought the smell of the sea to him. 'What a wonderful smell. I missed you so much.' Musica thought as he held his arms in front of him, his hands limp. “Take me away, coppers.” Samuel and Band looked at Musica, then back at each other and nodded once.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I give the Orasakai's credit for their security.” Musica said cheerily, the manacles on ankles jangling as he walked, at matching pair on his wrists doing the same a he rubbed his elbow. The young man had mouthed off to the guard one too many times before he made friends with the magnetic rod. “They managed to inspect me in places where I didn't know I had places. Props to them.” Band said nothing as he led his “prisoner” down a quiet hallway. “Though, I give them one star for hospitality; they didn't even offer to take my coat.” Musica poked at his worn traveling cloak that still covered his entire body sans his head, feeling very sorry for the old thing. “Shut up, or I'll find one of those metal rods for you.” Band snapped, cutting Musica off from his next comment. The older man stopped walking and opened a door to the side and easily shoved Musica inside with one hand. The chains on the young man's ankles and wrists clattered loudly as their wearer stumbled into what looked like something like a living room. Musica regained his footing just as the door slammed shut behind him. “And good riddance!” Musica yelled over his shoulder.

Sai let out a stifled yawn as he craned his neck over the back of the couch to watch Kyu waltz into the room as he did every single day. A playful grin stretched across his lips, "Sup, sup." He chimed out, turning back to stare at a small, black chest that laid upon the oak wood table in front of him. The rims of the chest was encrusted with a dull, gold trimming that had blood rubies studded along it. At the center of it a dragon's head, crafted in the same dull, gold with rubies for eyes, was crafted as the lock for the chest.

With a lazy demeanor, he stretched out a toe to press against the side of the chest and pushed it farther down the table before grabbing and tossing the food to fill the suddenly empty space. "Thanks, I'll get to it in a second." He said quickly before continuing on, "So guess what, security found us a missing nin earlier today. And I bet money you wont guess who~" He mused, jumping slightly at the loud noise from behind the group. With a heavy sigh, he turned around to slump along the back of the couch, "Impeccable timing.. You remember Musica, right Kyu? Or better said.... Do you remember me, Musica?" Sai chuckled softly as he gazed towards the boy with a wolfish grin that would even beg a nun to strike out against... so long as Kyu didn't mess up the mood.

"Missing nin?" Kyu repeated. He popped open his sushi box and tossed the plastic top in a nearby waste basket. He took a seat in his usual spot, a black leather club chair that matched the couch Sai blanketed himself over.

He took a deep breath. The black slits on his face widened just a bit more to capture the aroma of the 'Freshest Sushi this Side of Water Country'. Thanks to his family's fishery business, getting the freshest, cheapest fish was an easy task.

He had opened S.S. Sushi with his Chuunin Exam compensation check eight months ago. Thanks to the post-Orasakai economic downfall, few restaurants were left open. Fewer more specialized in sushi and fish. As business resumed for Kirigakure, travelers imported their wares to the city. While in the city, they had few choices for eateries. Through advertisement and word-of-mouth, Kyu's small south-side bar became a local hot spot.

Ever since, the fish-man had been able to enjoy the benefits of owning a business that sold his favorite food. Free premium-grade sushi was at his fingertips any time he wanted it!

Kyu placed one of the delicate rolls into his toothy mouth just as a group of ninja entered the room. His sharp eyebrows elevated when he saw one of the members. He looked familiar, but he couldn't place where. Sai reminded him of his name. It was Musica.

Kyu's eyebrows contorted. He looked up into the corner of the room. His mind was busy trying to remember where he'd seen the face. When he swallowed the bundle of rice and fish, he said, "Y'know, he looks familiar. I can't place from where, though..."

Musica, at the sight of Sai, instinctively willed his chakra to his hand. Preparing to use whatever destructive force was needed to blow that smirk off of the man's face. Probably all over the wall in messy bits. But, as quickly as Musica had called up his chakra, the inside of all four manacles produced small needeles that dug into his wrists and ankles. The young man fought back a hiss of pain and called off his chakra, the small needles retracting instantly. Musica's gaze never fell away from his host's, even though a good part of him wanted to. 'It isn't the same man,' he reminded himself, as he casually shrugged in response to Sai. 'That one was an imposter Just keep cool.'

"Y'know. I might, just a little bit." Musica drawled, walking around the room a little, taking in small details with small glances. The missing nin picked up a small, spherical object and examing it. The fish guy in the corner was familiar from the Exams, as well as Sai. Although the name escaped Musica on this one. He put the object back down. "Pie, right? Something like that." Musica plopped down into one of the comfy, black chairs, and held out his manacled hands, and gave Sai a skeptic look. "Are these really necessary?"

Kyu scoffed, "Pie? there isn't any pie here, bro. There is sushi though. Speaking of... Sai, you really should try some. It's good!" Kyu placed another sushi roll into his toothy mouth. He chewed the flavorful rice and tuna tube with a pleasurable murmur of satisfaction.

Musica voiced his displeasure to be wearing the shackles on his wrists. Silently, the chuunin swallowed the roll and stood up. He placed the rest of his sushi on the table and dug his hands into his pockets.

"Well..." Kyu began, looking Musica up and down, "Here's the thing, bro. You're a missing nin. And you stumbled right into Kirigakure, the Village hidden in the Mist. Removing those shackles... It would just be..." Kyu knelt down beside the black chair Musica rested in, and withdrew his right hand from his pocket. Making sure Musica could see it, he formed it into a chakra focusing hand seal.

A low-volume, ninja-exploding sound came from the opposite side and top of the chair. Crouched on the opposite side of the seat was a duplicate Kyu. His arm was extended to put a kunai against the young Missing-nin's jugular. Over Musica's head was a second duplicate, poised to poke two deadly ice needles into Musica's skull.

"...counter-productive. As a rule of thumb, Missing-nin are dangerous folk, with bounties on their heads. Letting you go would be like opening a bag of worms. You've gotten yourself into one of the most secretive places in all of Kiri, who knows what wreckage you could cause. More importantly..." The clone's kunai pressed against Musica's neck threateningly.

"We could lose out on precious ryo. These days, cash is a precious commodity. Goods and services thrive on it, and the more we can get in the country... the better."

The real Kyu licked his lips of a remnant of flavor from his sushi. Eyes as feral as a great white, he growled, "Why don't you give us one good reason why we shouldn't just slit your neck now, and look for a bounty posting later, eh, bro?"

"'Cause I have plans for the little snot, and killin' him would be even more counterproductive." Sai said with a yawn, ignoring the rest of the situation as he pulled the tray of sushi towards him and set it on his lap. Picking up a single roll, he turned it in his hand questioningly before simply plopping it into his mouth. "Oh s**t, this is actually good~ What was that you said was on the side? Wussabby, that any good?" He questioned, picking up another roll to dip into the green-ish colored substance. Making sure to have a good blob of it on the sushi roll, he placed it into his mouth and chewed on it for a short moment. Without a moments hesitation, the man spat the sushi out as tears formed along his eyes, "OH IT WAS A TRICK! WHAT THE ******** IS THIS s**t?!" He howled, darting to a nearby fish bowl before downing the water rapidly. "You b*****d. Kyu! What the living hell is that?!"

Kyu sneered at Musica, then lowered his ice needles. Each clone's ice needle disintegrated into chakra once more, and reentered his clones' chakra system again. With an audible poof, the two clones disappeared, and the real Kyu stood up, "Fair enough. If Sai's got a plan for ya, you're okay by me, bro."

Kyu flashed Musica a friendly smile, which got wider when Sai commented on the sushi he brought. "I'm glad you like it, Sai. That would be Wasabi, careful its-" Kyu's face grew pale; Sai put far, far too much wasabi onto one sushi roll. Kyu's jaw dropped, and cold sweat began to fire from the pores of his face like bullets. The chuunin jumped into a wide stance and held his hand out, palm facing Sai. Time seemed to slow to a halt. Each fraction of a second passed like a week, and the full two seconds seemed like a full year.

Bassy and slow, Kyu bellowed an extended, "NOOOOOOOO-" up until the little roll with the sizable, green, curly blob of wasabi on top touched base inside Sai's mouth.

Kyu's blood ran cold as the ice he made needles from. For just a fraction of a second, Sai chewed. All was silent in the room, save for the sound of the bite. The sharky ninja's mind raced, If he reacts like a normal person, he's going to explode, and if he reacts like Sai... Then he might just kill me out of sheer sudden rage. But then again, this is Sai. Maybe... maybe I'll get off scott free... and he'll eat it like it was any other food... WHY IS HE SO HARD TO PREDICT!?! Time slipped back into its normal pace, and Sai spat out the sushi, and howled in pain, darting instead for a nearby fish bowl for the water.

Kyu's ran his hand through his spiky hair, "Don't you know what wasabi is? It's not called japanese horseradish just for kicks, that stuff is incredibly spicy! You just put a little bit on it, not the hole friggen pile!"
PostPosted: Sun Oct 30, 2011 4:35 pm

Musica repressed a shudder as multiple clones of Kyu poofed around him, each with a rather sharp object pointed rather delicately at something vital. Things Musica would much rather to not be pointed at, please. But that wasn't what gave him the chills. Just like with Band, Kyu had suddenly put himself into the missing-nin's space. The Mist ninja had broken into the young man's bubble and had no intentions of letting it repair. The light pressure of an unwanted prescence this close to him was felt like a small weight that pressed itself against Musica's senses. It was all he could do to sit still and calm, let alone instinctively kick all three of the Kyus away from him. Musica held back a hiss as Sai spoke, his wrists and ankles exploding into small, sharp pinpoints of pain. Again. The manacles the young man was wearing forced the small amount of chakra that welled up in Musica to disappate, chakra that Musica had unwittingly called up.

The young man closed his eyes and leaned back as Kyu stood up. "Yeah, he has plans for the little snot~" Musica said cheerily, meeting Kyu's sneer with a wholehearted grin. Plans? I figured as much. If they wanted me dead, those two rent-a-cops would have killed me already. Musica thought, his thoughts in a distant world, seperate from the one he was held in. Though, the last time someone said they had plans for me, I was held captive for a year. And look where that got me. Funny how that works out, huh? Musica let out a small sigh and looked at the ceiling, his mind drifting off to his mom. "Is it too hard for me to just want to go home?" He muttered under his breath. Musica's focus snapped back to his captors as the sound of something falling into water echoed in the room. Musica slowly looked down, and the scene before him made his face fall. The entire room turned black except for the three occupants, who had all turned a very pale shade of white: Musica, staring at the other two, with his mouth agape and his eye brow twitching. Kyu, standing in front of the young missing nin, his position similar to a baseball catcher. And Sai, the feared terrorist, the head of the Orasakai compound, sticking his head into a fish tank as if his hair were on fire. These. . . . are the guys I need to take seriously?

"You, shut up." Sai barked towards the boy, his hand snapping to the kid's direction causing a bit of the wasabi that had dripped onto his hand to spray out to Musica's eyes. "Nyeh, nyeh, nyeh, nyeh. That would've been a LOT more helpful if mentioned before I ate it, ya twit." He growled out, his blue eyes glaring Kyu down dangerously as he paced his way back to the sushi tray. Lifting it up, he waved it threateningly at Kyu, "And for your information, no I didn't know what wasabi was. I thought it was a tasty treat to make your taste buds go YAY in surprise and delight, not cry and scream in agony and pain, cursing your name to the fiery deaths of hell cause you've damned them to the same pit. A little warning would have been wonderful, hey Sai, by the way the wasabi is very spicy don't take a lot at once unless you can handle it. Or better yet, where's the OH SAI DON'T DO THAT! ya c** sucking d**k. You saw me dunk that s**t and simply watched."

Sucking his teeth, he shoved the trey into Kyu's chest angrily before slinging himself onto the couch with an aggravated sigh. "God damn it, ya totally made me forget what I was talking about before..."

Musica's eyes shut tightly just before the gooey substance hit his face. The chains on the young man's wrists jangled as he wiped his eyelids with his cloak. Not like it isn't dirty enough, He thought, blinking his eyes open. Kyu and Sai were still going at it, so Musica took the time for a hobby: thinking. A hobby you could practice more often. Rodah chuckled. Musica ignored him like an adult, not mentally sticking his tongue out at his brother, and started focusing on the situation, the discussion between the two Mist ninja becoming nothing more the dull white noise. The question of the hour was: why is Sai here? Up to about a year ago, he was in hiding, as far as Musica knew. But why was he here, a known terrorist, free to walk around the same city he had seemingly tried to destroy? No, Musica corrected himself. Not free. There was no way that the Mizukage or the government would allow someone like Sai to roam freely. Not after the same people kept watch on Musica, who was far less of a threat. What was it that Kyu had said? The question passed through the young man's head as his gaze shifted to shark-like ninja for a moment, and the shinobi's words echoed in the missing-nin's ears. 'You've gotten yourself into one of the most secretive places of all of Kiri.' So why was Musica thrown in here, and not a normal prison? Or killed, for that matter? Obviously this compound was important to Mist, with the level of security it had. Unless, Musica flashed back to the guardsmen and their rods, and felt himself flinching on instinct. Maybe it isn't to keep people out. But to keep them in. Musica turned his blue eyes to Sai, who was still yelling, and saw the man in a new light. Orasakai, while calm and aloof and not in shackles (like Musica), was just as much of a prisoner as the young missing nin was. Very good detective work, Sherlock. Want a cookie? Rodah teased.

Or so Musica assumed, anyway. There was a very real possibility that he was wrong, but he would find out in time. And, in that time, it was best that he kept this assumption to himself, unless he absolutely needed to bring it up. In the mean time, Musica refocused on the conversation, just catching Sai's last remark. The young man gave his best smile to the man and held up his shackles. "I think it was something about letting the young prisoner go free of charge, or something."

Sai turned his head to stare at Musica blankly, his head tilting to the side curiously, "You know what... That actually... really... does... not sound familiar. Yeah, no, I don't think that's where I was going at all but you can go to the corner and qq a bit about how the game is hacked and everything is all gee gee before you can even start. That's the lingo slingo slango with you youngin's now adays, right?" He replied, a wolfish grin playing on his lips tauntingly before turning back to face Kyu. "It's like every year, they just come out more and more full of themselves... each one lacking more screws then the one before. Did I not tell him no two or three times already?" He grumbled to the fishy b*****d before him, before curling up on the couch to stare at the ceiling, "Now my entire thought process is totally ********.... and I was onto something fun, too."

A thin yet well toned male turned the corner of the street only to head directly for that of a dead end, at first glance the side Alley looked like nothing more but a dead end; however, Known to few there was indeed something special down this ally way. “Well I’ll be damned it’s still here, and in better condition than I had thought it to be. Let’s drop in shall we pal?” A small bark was quickly produced from beside the thin yet lean man. Walking towards what looked like a torn down building the man couldn’t help but smirk at something unknown to the eyes at first sight. Walking into the Demoed building the man casually walked around a corner and found himself staring at a closed door. “They sure don’t know how to hide very well do they.” A Huffing sound could be heard once more, much like an animal responding to what the lean man was saying. The man’s right hand proceeded to grip the doorknob and turn it while pushing the door inwards as he followed with a right foot forward. He heard chatter and small talk within the hidden compound, possibly a room next to the entrance possibly. He sighed momentarily as he knelt down and picked up a Medium sized Husky pup, and set it upon his shoulder. Once standing upright the man began to walk into the next room where all the small talk was being made, He couldn’t help but express a smile in return towards catching sight of his Cousin. And out came a causal greeting for those around. “Hmm it’s interesting to witness people within the Compound… by the way hello everyone it’s a pleasure to be in your company.” He spoke in a mannered voice as his left hand came up to his face as hid middle finger lifted up his glasses back onto his face in a more proper setting. “Especially you Cousin; So what’s up with all this bullshit I hear about the Shinobi world reforming into a new Era? Wasn’t it already Done and over with.”

"Nyeh? Cousin?" Was the only thing that came out of the frowning Sai's mouth as he stared bug-eyed at the arrival of one of his clansmen. A sigh parted from his mouth and he shrugged the newcommer away, rolling back into his curled up position. "Don't know, don't care, haven't heard a word of anything about a new Era but there is always a new one, so long as there is a new generation." He finally replied, his voice muffled by the fabric of the couch. Another sigh pushed past his mouth, it was never very appealing to him when people simply found their way into his living room. The compound crossed over fourty acres of land, hidden away on it's own seperate island that was meant specially only for his clan and the people that guarded, or rather watched, them. And while all of the compound belonged to all of the clan, save their own personal living quarters, many had found and silently claimed their own little areas for themselves and those that they cared for.

This room, this space of randomly decorated parcels that seemed like a blind man had crafted, was the space that his brother had claimed for his own. It didn't sit well for anyone to come uninvited... something the entire clan knew. "So, I'm sure you've got some sort of business with me? Or are you here just to make small chat... cause I have no problems discussing my expressed need to cook me up hot dogs should your little friend take this area for an uniral." Sai remarked, flashing a gentle grin that the couch had the best view of. "Anywho, don't be shy, introduce yourself. These are my guests; Kyuzaku Hoshigaki - Dagger of the Seas, and Musica Knote... some backwater missing nin."
