Tanzaku city is the location of the historic Tanzaku castle. Watching over the city, the gigantic castle stood for many years until Orochimaru destroyed it. The city itself was left untouched. It has since then been rebuilt and currently functions as a home for the current ruler of fire country.
Haikyo quirked a brow as Sai looked at him, rather confused. Quickly, however, his confusion was explained, and he stated that they weren't going home--they were going to Tanzaku. He mentioned it was apparently the 'city of comfort', and Haikyo couldn't really argue with that. He didn't want to spend any more time travelling, but, this city sounded kind of nice at this point. Hell, he could use a break...perhaps he didn't need to go home and start training his a** off quite yet. He merely nodded to the man, looking down to the bundle of goods he was carrying. Was he really that tired? He had forgotten all about the s**t they needed to get rid of...perhaps this would be the place to do so. Sai seemed to have his wits about him for the most part. Haikyo doubted he was just leading him somewhere random for shits and giggles. Well...he kind of doubted it.
As they began on their journey toward this different place, he felt something quite strange. He felt the boy from before coming back. Honestly...did he really need anything else from them? Did he think there was anything else to get? But as Haikyo turned around to look, there was nobody there. It was...quite strange. He could feel the man's soul...he knew he could. He was confused for a moment longer before he saw the squirrel running beside the road. He gave no extra regard to the animal as he continued walking along Sai, slightly confused, until he realized, as they were walking, that he did not feel the soul energy of the squirrel running alongside the road...he felt the man. Some sort of transformation had to have taken place. However, Haikyo did not raise a fuss. The man wanted to follow? Fine. Follow. The life of a squirrel was like to be an uninteresting day for the boy to experience.
After they had traveled for quite some time, however, they finally made it to the city. He could see the massive home that overlooked the city and he shook his head as he was caught awestruck by the beauty of the place. This was quite the attractive land he had moved to. Rain was much more...drab. "So...what is in this city? It seems quite lovely." Haikyo said, still looking around as they approached, just taking the sights in.

Kaito continued following the duo into Tanzaku City where it seemed like they were just looking for some relaxation. This trip was becoming dull very quickly, but at least the city itself was beautiful and he could enjoy the view while keeping an eye on Sai. Kaito at this point wasn't sure how well his disguise was actually working out, but neither of the two had mentioned anything thus far, so maybe it was actually working out for him. Soon enough he'd find out he was sure, thus he'd continue doing what he was doing watching from afar.

Sai tapped a finger against his nose, his eyes searching the buildings around him, "Hum... Oops." Without elaborating further he continued deeper into the city.
The buildings that rose around them were sturdy, large structures that incorporated old forms of architecture. There was a beauty in it's timeless features. The buildings were framed by large, lush trees that shaded the streets from the sun and waved with the gentle breeze that flowed through. However, this was most definitely not a city of pleasure and comfort...
It would be a hour in the city before Sai finally stopped at the entrance of a large building. What looked like a lake could be seen wrapping around it's side and flowed behind the building. A couple walked pass the duo, there voices softening as they moved around them, their eyes judging the shinobis' appearance. "I've heard great things about this hotel, have you ever been here?" Sai asked, ignoring the couple as he followed behind them to enter the building.

Juugou's entire body ached as the mule-drawn cart entered Tanzaku city at a leisurely pace. The mules had charged down the road at breakneck speed for most of the trip over stretches of uneven dirt road which had created a jackhammer effect on the cart, which did not have much in the way of passenger stability. The driver seemed more or less unaffected by the trip with the exception of her bonnet becoming askew. Juugou, on the other hand was much worse for wear. His shades were halfway down his nose at an angle and his hair was windswept. The cart driver laughed. "So what did you think of Bernard and Jill?" They may be late in their years, but they sure can run!" The genin pushed his shades up his nose, releasing the protective clutch on the bag containing the lexicon. "They sure can. How did you get used to this?" asked Juugou, sincerely curious The lady smiled. "Oh, it took years to be honest. I remember a few times those two tipped the cart and dumped me in ditch a ditch with all the goods." Juugou noted the nostalgic look on the lady's face, but couldn't imagine how annoying it was to have to deal something like that all the time. People sure were strong in different ways.
As they passed a rather large house, the young Aburame looked to the side and noticed a familiar figure standing in front of the building next to a severely injured man. "Haikyo?! What happened to you?!" he said, hopping off the moving cart without a second thought and landing on the sidewalk. The older genin's back was turned to him but it was obvious that he had been fighting someone recently. "And who's this?" he gestured to the other man standing there as if the wounds he sustained were nothing but an afterthought.

It was actually quite entertaining as they made their way to the city, to find that the squirrel had continued its persistent march alongside them. This boy was not giving up it would seem. Haikyo wondered if it was pure gut instinct that the boy was following Sai, or if he actually had some sort of proof that Sai was the real deal. Sai said oops about something and kept walking, and Haikyo quirked his brow...what was that all about? Sai was so odd, always doing s**t but never explaining it. It was kind of frustrating to a degree, but Haikyo was learning to ignore it and just wait to see what the hell happened. It could be a fun little surprised, he supposed. If, you know, you didn't mind your surprises having a slight chance of killing you. They were wandering around the city for an hour, just walking randomly throughout the old, but unique and homely buildings. By the end of the hour, Haikyo was beginning to feel slightly disgruntled, about to ask Sai where the hell they were going, before the man stopped in front of of large building, mentioning that it was a hotel and he had heard great things.
As they snuck in behind two people, quickly making their way through the doors of the hotel, a third party slipped in behind them. The voice familiar as he called Haikyo's name out, asking what had happened to him. The cut on the back of his leg that Sai had given him was the only bleeding wound the boy had received, but regardless, he was exhausted, and his haggard appearance would show that. He looked at Juugou, however, with renewed excitement as they stood in the hotel lobby. "Juugou! I was wondering what might have come of you after our first day. For me...it's a long story, honestly. Met with some dangerous folks in the Forest of Death...though we managed to get out of the situation with our lives. I am sorry I didn't have time to let you know about the excursion. I wanted to spend some time training and everything just sort of got mixed up." He said with a nervous laugh, scratching the back of his head while holding the goods, still wrapped up in the top half of his robes, in his other hand. He then motioned over to Sai and he took a deep breath. "This is another shinobi from our village. His name is Sai. He was there, in the Forest, when everything went down. What brings you to this place? Hell, actually..." He stated, trailing off on the last words as he turned to Sai as well. "On that note...what bring's US to this place?" He asked with a quirked brow.

Kaito had nyo more time to waste, this he was going to take things into his own hands. Well, sort of. Somehow or another Kaito had made his way through a shady looking bar and into the back room. This is where the real business was held within the city, owned and operated by a local gang of thugs. Kaito was now obviously transformed back to his original self, but left his headband hidden within his pocket to not raise any suspicions. Kaito scanned the back room upon entering, noting there were three large men and a smaller masked man who sat front and center of the group. The masked man took a few steps forward upon his entrance with a welcoming gesture in the form of a wave. Wasting no time the man would begin speaking. "Welcome, welcome. I hear you're in need of some services. What can I help you with?" Kaito was fairly nervous to say the least but he wasn't going to show it. "Yeah errr yeah I need you to send someone to rough up someone for me..." Kaito paused for a moment before speaking up once again. "Oh yeah right, his name is Sai. He's about this tall" The boy lifted his hand up to measure Sai's height to the man. "And he has pink hair, so it's pretty difficult to to miss the guy. Think you can handle it?" A faint chuckle could be heard coming from the masked man. Of course we can.... As long as the price is right. with no hesitation Kaito would pull his wallet out, paying his dues.

Sai turned to face the newcomer, taking a step back so he could remove himself from immediate focus. For a moment he watched the interaction between the two boys. They were obviously close, perhaps childhood friends? No. Haikyo hadn't grown up in the village but instead came here to seek growth in his abilities. "Juugo, right." The man said with a gentle smile when Haikyo introduced him. Extending his hand to the boy, he nodded his head respectfully. 'Teammates.' Sai concluded from the manner Haikyo introduced him. 'Teammates or at least classmates in the academy, making this boy a shinobi as well.'
Retracting his hand, and making a mental note to avoid further physical contact with the boy, Sai gave Haikyo a quizzical look. "You ask me to show you to the market and help you with selling your goods, but you don't know what we're doing in the city with one of the largest, if not the largest market in the country?" He blinked at the boy as he placed his hand on Haikyo's shoulder. Shaking his head he gave him a "Seriously though?" look before turning his back and continuing on to the front desk to talk with the manager that stood waiting for them. The man was obviously uncomfortable with the appearance of Sai and Haikyo, but something gave him the feeling it would it would be wiser to not object to them.
It would be a few moments later that Sai would call from over his shoulder, "Juugo, do you have some where to stay? No? Perfect. You'll stay with us. Haikyo's treating us."

Juugou sighed as Haikyo recounted the events that occurred the night after they parted ways. There were no bounds to his recklessness. Who goes to the Forest of Death to figure things out anyway? The young Aburame listened to his team mate recount his story and how he had met Sai in the Forest of Death as well. Sai... thought Juugou. Could this be the same Sai Hajime and Kaito were talking about? What are the odds? Upon this introduction Sai extended his hand for Juugou to shake, which the genin did with a polite smile of his own. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Sai. I hope Haikyo wasn't any trouble." he said with a chuckle. When Haikyo asked why he was there, Juugou replied. "I'm on a delivery mission and the client is at the market."
Sai gave Haikyo a weird look when he asked the purpose of he and the other shinobi being there. Apparently the Yomi had asked him to help him sell the stuff he had on him, but was unaware that Tanzaku city contained the most renowned market in the country. Juugou was going to say something, but decided against it. Haikyo would have to learn about these places one way or another. Sai approached the front desk and spoke to the manager.for a bit before calling back to Juugou if he had somewhere to stay. "Not rea-" He didn't get to finish his statement before Sai jumped the gun and stated he would be staying with them and it would be Haikyo's treat. With what money?! thought the Aburame.
Haikyo, again, scratched the back of his head nervously and laughed as Sai began talking about how this city had one of the largest markets in the country. Haikyo merely shrugged his shoulders afterward as he looked around himself. "I've already explained. I don't know much about this place. I just came here, not long ago, from Rain. I don't know anything about your cities or your markets." Haikyo said with a shrug of his shoulders.
He turned back to Juugou, as the boy hoped that Haikyo wasn't causing any sort of trouble for Sai, and his eyes widened. "Me cause trouble for him? Not likely. Besides, is that any way to talk about your elder? I ought to be the one hoping the little runt doesn't cause trouble, not the other way around." Haikyo said with a smirk as he heard Sai say that he would be paying for their accommodations. He quirked a brow at the man, looking at their elaborate hotel, and he felt for his coin purse, tucked into the folds of the lower half of his robes that were left. He walked up to the counter. "What can I get for this?" Haikyo asked, placing the meager funds he had down on the table. The man looked at him with an 'are you serious' sort of expression, and Haikyo shrugged. "You can stay in the attic. There are cots there, you can sleep on, and rats to keep you company. Or, you can come back with more money and sleep in a real room." The man stated, waiting to see what they would say. Haikyo looked at the others, not sure of how to respond. He was used to sleeping without luxury, and he certainly didn't have the funds for anything more.

The deal was sealed, and Kaito was on his way back in attempt to find a solid viewing point for the battle he'd be throwing them in. The walk wasn't a very long distance, and eventually Kaito would track them back down. Upon his arrival he'd quickly learn that another person had joined their group, and this was a familiar face at that. "Juugou? What's that little turd doing with those guys?" Kaito was vexed at this situation, how'd that little guy know Sai? Perhaps he was thinking about it wrong though, maybe the other guy was his teammate, or perhaps a relation of sorts? Either way this was mostly irrelevant information to him at this point, Kaito just needed to keep track of there whereabouts until his hired gang member arrived.
The trio continued to travel further into the city and eventually made their way into a hotel which really could work out in his favor. Surely if they were checking in, they wouldn't be leaving for a little while at least he'd imagined which would make this process a bit quicker and easier.
Walking in behind the trio stood a short, yet kind of muscley fat guy whom was accompanied by a bengal tiger that was coated with flames. His objective was simple, just take out a guy with pink hair described by a man named Kaito and surely he was going to do just that. While saying no words to the trio, his hands would begin moving at lightning speeds as he strung together several handsigns. These handseals consisted of several techniques that would aid him in battle and help take out his foes. Upon finishing his index and middle fingers would illuminate on both hands, and as he'd begin waving them in the air large whips created of fire would begin destroying everything in front of him.

As Haikyo had just finished dealing with the man at the front desk, sure that they would be stuck sleeping in a damn attic--a man approached them from outside. It had been painstaking, making their way here, to be sure. He had been walking for ages...after having fought to the death alongside Sai. He just wanted to rest. But, as he finished with the desk clerk and turned to the other two, a man strode into the hotel with a tiger by his side...something about this seemed less than okay. The man said nothing at all, instead just began to form hand seals. Haikyo's mind immediately jumped to action--after having gone up against Raijin, he was not prepared to take this lightly. Even if the man was not attacking, Haikyo was going to be prepared for it! His hands moved quickly as they connected into multiple hand seals, and then as they finished, his skin would weave soul energy through it like a mesh--reinforcing his body by an incredible amount.
As the man formed whips of flame, Haikyo's eyes widened. s**t. This was not going to be fun. The whips came slamming down toward all three of them, and Haikyo immediately jumped to the side, attempting to avoid the lash, but it was like the whip could follow him as it swung to the side he had jumped for, landing the flaming blow across his back, burning deep into his bare flesh--since he was still not wearing proper clothing, having hoped he would be able to find some here. He ground his teeth together, feeling his body screaming in pain from the burns as he hit the floor, rolling a short distance from being struck from the air. The jutsu protecting his body had cushioned the blow slightly..but that was what worried him. This guy was no easy customer...even stronger than Raijin to be sure. "If I find out that kid from before is behind this...I swear to god..." Haikyo growled, his voice coming out like a guttural roar.

Juugou didn't notice the stranger come in and stand a few feet behind them, but he felt the space get a little hotter all of a sudden. He turned to see what had caused the rise in temperature and beheld the stocky man generating whips of fire from his fingers. The Aburame contorted his face in confusion, but his eyes widened as he saw the man began to swing the whips all around, disregarding the patrons in the crowded lobby. Automatically he began weaving seals as fast as he could, stringing a few defensive techniques. One of the whips hit Haikyo and sent him flying a short distance away. Juugou was dismayed to find that his barrier hadn't been able to finish forming in time, allowing a fire whip to break through and strike him in the stomach, but as he looked down he was happy to see that the coat of gel sizzled and stopped the fire whip from doing direct damage to his body. The blow still was strong enough to knock him back behind the front desk of the hotel. The Aburame groaned, clutching his abdomen after having been almost winded.
