Cad had still made no more than a few acquaintances and a handful of friends. At least seeing his progress had softened his mother to let his have some tinkering back for himself. Shaking his head at the thought, he stepped through the grass and headed back towards the glider he'd built when he had been a foal for his sisters. Still... he hadn't quite figured out all of the odds and ends he was trying to in order to make the upgrades he needed to.

He wanted to make it sturdy for his sisters once more. True.. his nephews could possibly make better use of it now.. but he wanted to push his abilities.. press his mind to make these adjustments so that his sisters could joyfully glide off hill tops once more.

Sunshine and, a soft breeze. It felt so lovely, the way the wind tickled through the mares long mane of hair. The way it pushed and, twisted her hair back so her bright blue eyes were more visible to take in the world as she plodded through it. Today she thought would have to be wonderful with such nice weather, with so much to see and do.

As she moved those bright blue orbs caught sight of something else blue..normally Isa might have ignored it but, the blue stuff looked soft..like hair. With a curious tilt of her head she moved through the brush and, around a few trees to see a stallion with long LONG blue hair. Without a worry in the world, for Isa feared little to nothing in the world, she stepped out into the open a warm smile forming upon her lips. "Hello...sorry if I'm bothering you and your uh.." Blinking she stared down at the thing on the ground, what did that do? "Your..inventing? I just..had to stop when I saw so much blue."

((Orz I hope this is okay my muses are fighting me sweatdrop ))

Cad blinked and stopped what he was doing. Turning he saw a mare with rainbow markings standing there. a small warm smile appeared on his face. "It's not a bother at all." He gave a small chuckle. "So much blue? Ah ... you must mean either my hair, coat... or all of it. I get it from my parents..." He gave her a small bow of his head out of courtesy. raising his head, he noticed the adornment in her hair and his ears perked. "That's a lovely trinket.. Does it hold any special significance to you?" His eyes then finally noticed just how long her hair was along with the coloring. It caused him to smile a bit more. It was in a way a comfort to know that he wasn't the only one, aside from his family, that seemed to have long hair. "I'm Cadhla by the way. Might I ask yours?"

Blinking curiously Isa let her ear flick and, eyes turn a bit to peek at the flower clasp in her hair. Eyes warming a soft laughed escaped her lips, she rather liked talking to this blue stallion already. He seemed nice and a good distraction from her otherwise uneventful day. "It's very nice, I am a fan of long hair since I have quite a bit myself."

Peering at the floral clasp again Isa stepped a little closer to the male, her eyes still curiously scanning the items he had on the ground. "Thank you...my mother gave it to me. Yes, it is something I hold dear..she gave it to me when my hair started getting in my eyes. " Looking Cadhla over she noted the ribbon and, rose in his pretty blue mane. "Your hair ornaments lovely as well and, oh my yes. I'm Isa..it's a pleasure to meet you Cadhla. So..if it's not rude to ask, what are you working on?"

Humming softly while awaiting an answer Isa allowed her head to drop a little, so she could get a better look at the strange things he must have been building or fiddling with. What a curious device. Tail flickering her sharp blue eyes moved up to the sky instead watching the clouds float by...ah yes what a beautiful day.

He nodded in response to her comment about her long hair. "You're quite welcome, I know what it's like to hols such a small trinket so dearly." He smiled warmly. "My rose and ribbon were a gift from my grandparents as a coming of age.. so I'm quite fond of it as you are of yours. It's a pleasure meeting you as well Isa." He inclined his head once more with that gentleman like quality his father and great grandfather had taught him."This? Ah.. it's a glider I built for my sisters when we were younger.. Sadly it no longer carries our weight and so I had hopes of making it more sturdy..." He chuckled and shook his forelock from his eyes.
