Home. The Negaverse home base was Captain Moonstone's home now, far more than the place she lived at as a civilian. Perhaps it was sad that she was so far removed from the woman that bore her into this world in a rush of blood, sweat and tears, but there was nothing to be done about it now. Her family was trying to save the Earth so that her birth family could continue to live, freed from the Reign of the White Moon.
With General-King Zinkenite's words in mind, she found herself seeking out Lieutenant Fukalite - one of the two Lieutenants that Zink felt would benefit from her guidance, that he felt she would benefit from mentoring. Moonstone's low heels clacked softly with each long, purposeful stride, her thick braid trailing after her on her 'hunt' for the dark-haired Lieutenant.

Fukalite couldn’t quite fathom how certain officers considered the Negaverse a second family—perhaps even their only family. The Negaverse was an organization made with the intent of opposing the senshi, the “space invaders.” To her, being part of the Negaverse was her duty and her fellow agents merely comrades—perhaps friends if she knew them well enough, but that was all. Perhaps that was why she was not as zealously dedicated as others were. Duties were meant to be taken seriously, but Fukalite didn’t always do things properly. She did her nightly rounds and she participated in the mandatory training, but she didn’t bother to push herself further. As long as she did the minimum it was alright.
Through the silence, she could hear the barely-noticeable sound of footsteps. At first, Fukalite thought nothing, but the longer it continued the more she strained to listen. It was only when she paid attention to the surrounding energies did she realize that someone was indeed behind her—but not just anyone, but a captain. She stopped, plastered on a smile, and turned around to greet her. “Hello there, Captain.”

Ah, yes! Finally, Captain Moonstone had found the Lieutenant that she had been seeking. "Lieutenant Fukalite." Moonstone smiled at the smaller woman, flashing neat, white teeth even in the semi-dark of the Negaverse base. "I would like to speak with you privately. I have a place in mind, unless you have pressing business." Otherwise she would invite Fukalite to return with her to a space back the way she had come from that had two chairs and a low, scuffed table. She had used the room before, talking with Linarite - asking her then superior if she would be available to aid Moonstone with her training - but had not been back until now.
It was fitting, really, that she and Fukalite might use that selfsame place to speak of training, of an alliance or mentorship: Moonstone to Fukalite.

She nodded at her name. “That’s me.” Fukalite scrutinized the woman, examining her facial features for anything particular that could help the lieutenant to identify which specific superior this was. She had met with so many Negaverse officers, usually for just a few instances, that it had become troublesome to memorize all of their names to their respective faces. However, this woman in particular seemed vaguely familiar, more familiar than most. “No problem at all, Captain…Moonstone?” Her voice wavered a bit, unsure if she had picked out the correct mineral from the list embedded in her brain.
Fukalite followed the captain into a room, fairly sparse with only a couple chairs and a table. Nonetheless, she assumed it appropriate to slide into one of the chairs while Moonstone took the other. She straightened her back and twined her slender fingers together before pressing them against the table. “What did you want to talk to me about?”

"Yes, thank you." Moonstone gave Fukalite a bit of a smile and then lead her back to the previously mentioned room, gesturing to one of the two chairs before settling back into her own. She allowed her companion to get comfortable - odd to think of comfort in the Negaverse, but being on the side of Earth's defenders didn't necessarily mean that they had to be uncomfortable - before answering her question and presenting her proposal to the younger Lieutenant.
"I was speaking with General Zinkenite in the War Room and he presented the idea that my skills would perhaps work well in a mentoring sort of function. As you know, we are at war with the senshi and as their ranks do nothing but swell and bloat while ours remain fairly static, each of us must put forth as much concerted effort as we can. As such, I am taking on a few promising Lieutenants to train for the glory of the Negaverse." Here she paused a moment to contemplate the best way to proceed - she didn't want to waste any time with florid speaches, but felt that some illumination of her reasoning and intent was required. "The General mentioned to me that you would be an excellent candidate...you are bright and show great promise."
Moonstone let out a slow breath and leaned back in her chair just a bit, "There is very little room for hesitation in this war - an untrained agent is a liability for his superiors and a c***k in the armor of the Negaverse that our enemies would love to exploit. As I train you, you will be able to train others and so on."
"Does this sound like something that would interest you?" She phrased it as a request because she would much prefer that Fukalite accept her 'mentoring' and training of her own free will, but it was more or less an order from General Zinkenite.

General Zinkenite. The familiar blue-haired general flashed in her mind and Fukalite nodded her head. Inside her head, the lieutenant began to form possible connections. They both knew the general, so perhaps Moonstone was also part of Team Veritas. Mint-colored eyes narrowed as she suppressed a pained, sheepish laugh. That was right. She had joined, and while she had picked up the basics of observing and gathering information, she could always learn more. Always.
“Mentoring sort of function?” she repeated and her eyes flickered as she slowly pieced together why exactly Captain Moonstone was talking to her. Fukalite allowed herself to lean against the back of her chair, her fingers still weaved together. “I see.” The more the woman spoke, the more things elucidated themselves. Fukalite grinned at the mention of the General. “He said that? Really, now?” As soon as the grin appeared, it disappeared as she kept a solemn expression while Moonstone continued to explain. Yes, of course, a liability.
As the captain gave her the options of accepting or refusing, Fukalite closed her eyes and crossed her arms. An option? She actually had an option? Despite the gentle wording, she realized that this was an order. Perhaps not from Moonstone herself, but definitely an order from somewhere. She plastered on a polite smile. “How can I possibly refuse? I would be honored, Captain Moonstone.”
