That there is a Legends of G-Feds (working title) video game. Now I was talking to Fox about it, and how it can be profitable.

Here's how: If people from Gaia bought it, and if you sell it for like 30 bucks, you'd get your money back pretty fast. Now games these days are usually $40-$60 bucks, not counting DLC and bonus editions but lets say this is pretty basic game for now so it's gonna be $30, its not a popular franchise or whatever, the point is, say its $30.

While not many people from Gaia keep track of our community so there's like 100 if that, and that's exaggerating. We all know we're at around 50 give or take. But even if there was 2000, we'd only make 60k right? This is where marketing comes in.

Having the name Gaia-Fed itself would get Gaia to advertise. Of course they'd want some of their NPCs in, which shouldn't be a problem, if anything it'd make the game even better. So it'd get the word out and they'd probably do some kind of announcement where if you buy this game you get this item kinda BS like they always do.

So the game gets hyped more, and not only will people buy it for the items because they're greedy for virtual items but it'll get those who like wrestling intereted in our community, expanding it even more, or the fact that I'm sure gaia will want to have their own story mode in it, and the only way people can see it is if they play kind of thing.

Sure they'll be newbs who join our community because of the game, and most likely want to portray US because we'd be famous and s**t as there always is newbs who want to portray famous people because they have no life or creative ideas, but there are a lot of decent amount of roleplayers out there so we may get a few. Which is good for us. Keeps our community alive.

Anyways, Gaia advertises in Shonen Jump all the time, they do 10 issues a year (used to be 12) and you got other sites, and magazines advertising Gaia. Because Gaia is the number 1 web community in the world 2-3 years running. It'd get the name out, the community out and WWE or TNA 'could' advertise it, because in hindsight it wouldn't hurt their product because its characters portraying wrestlers in a game. It's certainly not going to take away any viewers from them either because its a roleplaying/discussion community.

Also WWE did that whole summerslam promotion with gaia back in 06, I'm sure they'd be more than willing to do it for the game. I mean ******** WWE had skittles, light strike, lazer tag, toys, burger king, etc etc. 'Sponsor' they're PPVs, which if we send a little cash WWE's way we get at least 2 weeks to a month (depending on the PPV) of Legends of G-Feds present: WWE *insert PPV here* that's advertisement, that's people going to google or yahoo or whatever plugging the game's name in and going. "Oh that seems cool' and get a deal with gamestop, best buy, etc.
Where if you pre-order the game from this location, you get this arena or this exclusive content, something like that. More advertising, hell WWE might even throw in one of their crappy dvds with said game. So even more of bonus!

Now there's lots of costs obviously like programming, advertising, copywrites, etc. I'm sure a lot of us will have to get the rights to our theme songs, else we'd have our characters come out to original themes meaning we'd have to get a composer or Gaia (who'd be sponsoring the game) would produce one because they wouldn't want their characters coming out to something they don't approve.

However will all of That, the game could profit and our community would grow so large we wouldn't know what to do, simply because of the game.
Thoughts, inputs?

Keep in mind this is purely hypothetical, but it can be successful and if I can think of all that off the top of my head (ask Fox) imagine what I can really do thought process wise.

The first forum based wrestling fed on gaia was called 'Global Wrestling League', when gaia's forums got updated this thread got archived, and possibly destroyed. I'm not entirely sure on it. I can't remember all of the world champions , just like.. 3 of them really. I was one. Tag champions and I think the mid card was the intercontentinal title. I'd have to take a look at what notes I managed to save. (yes I take notes)

Guild wise would be harder, I remember the Asylum being one of the first Gaia wrestling guilds, it was older than XCW even. Asylum became a pokemon guild though and then something else.

I have one thing to say:

I think it'd be better as a fighting game of sorts, think of WWF The Arcade game. Would be a lot better, and explore some of the aspects of characters 'powers' like Chrono doing a slow motion/sped up move, Nuke doing a combo then dropping an atomic bomb (Ala Wesker from MvC3), just use your imagination.

I like the sound of the idea, but wouldn't we all have to copyright our characters?

I assumed I wouldn't be in it, I am just curious. xD

We will need to set a timeline of where it starts and the cut off point. It will be more clear as to where the cut off is when we get the history sorted.

Example:
The events between 2003/04 - 2007 and due to the beginnings being lost and all Chrono has, are notes.. it may very well be just a story intro of the story mode or at the start of the game.
