The night was young, but that didn't make Guernica any easier about traversing it alone. Normally she would have called her driver for a ride, but for some reason he wasn't picking up -- she would have strong words with him about this -- and so she found herself left to her own devices, at least temporarily. Worse, she might have to take public transportation; while it could be fun and quaint on the right day, she had her cello with her and it was something of a pain to push around and maneuver onto a bus. Not to mention, all sorts of... interesting people rode the bus late at night. She really didn't want to mix with those sorts.
Pausing under a street light, she frowned, propping her cello case up so that it rested relatively flat. The last thing she needed was her much-loved cello wheeling off down the street without her; she'd have a very difficult time chasing it down, being dressed as she was. A high-waisted skirt, button-down blouse and toothpick heels were not really conducive to moving quickly late at night, now were they?
She would honestly rather not be out at all, but her blasted driver...
Pulling her cellphone out of her purse she frowned, pressing down on the speed dial button and waiting. If he didn't pick up...
Well, there were plenty of drivers for hire in Destiny City.
