Personality: Atsuma first and foremost is the self-proclaimed core of what a man should be. Over exaggeration is one of his most redeeming, and detrimental features. Loud, brash, hot blooded, charismatic and always looking forward to tomorrow. This gives him an extraordinarily positive outlook on his actions, and such confidence always gets him both wanted, and unwanted attention.
“He has to be one of the most enthusiastic and confident shinigami to ever pass through the academy, also the most troublesome” - To quote a teacher from the Academy whom will remain anonymous.
Unfortunately with great confidence comes bullheadedness, hastiness, and an overall superiority complex of sorts. Behind his smug grin and overwhelming demeanor was usually a small group or gang looking to stir trouble.

Typically he is seen with the black coat unbuttoned and hanging over just his shoulders, a simple white button up with a red tie(half-way undone) lay underneath. Topping the outfit off is the thin pair of green, fingerless gloves.
Physical Appearance: Standing at a proud 6’3” with dark green locks dangling messily, Atsuma is definitely something to look at. His facial features are always intense and hold nothing back on showing his emotions. For those passing by he could easily be mistaken for an overly cocky punkass, the smug little grin he usually caries giving off such an impression. If that wasn’t captivating enough the man’s deep blue eyes draw one in, the spiral design of the iris leads to the infinite darkness of his pupils.
As for his actual stature, he is lean and as healthy as a twenty year old track star should be. A lean yet conditioned upper body compliments the rest of his build perfectly. History: From what people see of Atsuma now they could never guess how much of a normal life he led when he was a child, from camping trips to boy scouts Atsuma did it all and was quite the kind boy. All through middle school he succeeded in showing his teacher, parents, and fellow students that he was gifted. So much so he was made to skip 7th and 8th grade in one year, after that and upon entering High school is when everything about him changed.
The once quiet and calm green haired boy became a fiery handful for his teachers and overall school staff, time after time he was thrown out of school for stirring up trouble. Out in the streets he was constantly being taken home via police cruiser for getting into large fights and other miscellaneous reasons. But, the most interesting part about all these events was: With the exception of the fights Atsuma was simply held accountable for being the “ring leader” of the groups. From riling up his fellow classmates with loud and charismatic speeches that caused half of the 10th grade class to throw away their text books, to causing large fights between rival gangs that ended in him being taken either home or to the hospital.
A gang leader is indeed what Atsuma was, especially so during his college years. (Amazed was everyone that he managed to make it to college.)
Compared to the other street gangs Die-Yagashi-dan, or “Great Sanosa brigade” didn’t cause much trouble for the innocent bystanders, sans the occasional loitering. The occasional bad seed would enter and might steal a few things, but mostly they simply looked around to cause trouble with the other gangs in their little corner of Japan.
Sadly, as in most cases, the Die-Sanada-dan lead to Atsuma’s inevitable death. Faced now with the end of one life Atsuma lingered on earth with the most irate expression on his façade, and upon being found by the Shinigami who preformed the soul burial Atsuma responded with a laugh and two words as he entered Soul Society “Heh, how interesting.”
His new life began, and it didn’t take long for him to find a niche within the block of Western Rukongai he would call home for 300 years.
Skipping forward 50 years we find the young and bold man, now a Shinigami, facing his destiny head-on. Nothing can come from remaining stagnant, he will be the one to grip the sun itself, no matter how hot it may be! Following the true path of a man, he knows nothing else but to move forward.

Zanpakuto Name: Rasenshiko
Zanpakuto Type: Katana
Zanpakuto Appearance: Possibly the one and only normal, standard issue item Atsuma has. His Zanpakutou is indeed nothing more than a plain looking katana, the black and white handle compliment the solid black sheath which sits at Atsuma’s left side.

Shikai Appearance: Rasenshiko’s shikai form is that of a giant hammer. Standing at 6’5” the massive, double sided, square hammer head stretched 5’ foot from end to end and 3’ side to side. Scintillating with a gold plating the hammer is truly intimidating, and to top off this impressive weapon is a drill, starting off at the base at 2’ and tapering to a sharp point at a length of 2’.

Shikai Release Appearance: Rasenshiko's transformation is instantaneous once the command phrase is spoken, with the roar of rapidly expanding atmosphere and a luminous flash of green Rasenshiko Reveals it’s true self.

Rasen-Hana (Spiral Flower)- Even though the crushing force of his shikai form is devastating enough on it’s own, another power is granted and is the second piece to complete the deadly strength of Atsuma’s release. The drill which occupies the top of the golden hammer is indeed fully functional, when Atsuma applies his reiatsu into the drill he can achieve a rotation speed of 400,000 RPMs. For an additional boost of Reiatsu Atsuma can extend/manipulate the metal the drill is composed of making its size and shape vary depending on his wishes. This manipulation also allows the drill to not only come from the top but from anywhere on the hammer (including both the heads, the sides, and the base of the handle.)
The maximum size Atsuma can make the drill is dependant on his maximum Reiatsu at the time.
Hagane Tamashii (Steel soul) With such a supreme mass Rasenshiko is truly a force to be reckoned with. Weighing in at over 5 tons Rasenshiko strikes with unrelenting power, but at such a weight it becomes too much of a burden in a fast-paced battle. Fortunately for Atsuma, Rasenshiko reserved an ability wholly to allowing him the strength to wield her. With Rasenshiko being a basic extension of his spiritual body this ability amplifies that bond and makes Rasenshiko far less of a burden to wield in battle. The effect is constant from the very start of his release and drains reiatsu initially.
Bakuhatsu Rasen (Exploding Spiral)
What arsenal would be complete without the general use, no-holds bar decimation attack? It’s almost a given that Rasenshiko, with such a massive and imposing form, would have such an assault.
To even begin this attack Atsuma must fist have Rasen Hana activated, one drill at whatever size desired can then be imbued with an overcharge of reiatsu. The high speed rotation of the drill thus agitates the spiritons crammed within the drill, which has now become a simple container for the reiatsu. (Like a sponge sort of.) The amount of Reiatsu placed into the drill is proportionate to the drill size, too much and it’ll preemptively go off, too little and it won’t be effective.
Once the drill is packed with just enough volatile Reiatsu the only thing left to do is: smash, hit, crush, or any other forms of violent contact with the enemy to unleash a devastating blow. The drill literally explodes outwards, a directional blast capable of incredible damage. The swirling of the energy inside the drill prior to release makes the explosion that much more turbulent. The range of the blast is limited to within a few yards in front of him, at a full 180 degree blast radius in front of him.

Pulled forth from her inner world Rasenshiko takes on her true form, the loli girl transforming into a gallant Valkyrie complete with gorgeous body armor and a feathered helm which obscures the top half of her visage. As if some kind of ethereal shadow her torso lingers in the space a little above and behind Atsuma, initially only being twice his size, with the ability to grow between that and the max of 50 feet tall. Like this she has full ability to protect Atsuma’s body from harm while attacking his foes, her movements mirroring Atsuma’s at times while others she is independent. Clutched in her armored gloves is the same hammer Atsuma wielded in Shikai, he too still having possession of the hammer.
The true power of this form isn’t realized until Rasenshiko takes on her true size, at a maximum height of 50 feet the lumbering battle maiden wields incredible power over the battlefield. Along with her the hammer, now easily 100 feet end to end, are capable of single-handedly decimating not only the enemy forces, but the very ground the charge upon.
Bankai Ability:
After Rasenshiko’s Valkyrie form is pulled forth into this world a blue aura surrounds Atsuma, much like a translucent ring of dancing flames. The ring is roughly 20 feet in diameter, and the anything which passes through the flames will not feel them. What this area is meant for is to deter the enemy from attempting any prolonged close quarters combat with her and Atsuma, for once the enemy is within this ring does this ability begin its effect.
At a rate which differs depending on the strength of his opponent Rasenshiko’s aura begins sucks the wasted Reiatsu from around the enemy, others that are drastic levels below him it sucks out forcefully. This energy is stored within Rasenshiko’s hammer and does nothing for Atsuma besides aide in strengthening his bankai’s attack, in other words it has zero restorative abilities.
Shin Bakuhatsu Rasen – (True Exploding Spiral) As the hammer they both wield is simply the extension of his shikai the ability ‘Rasen Hana – Spiral Flower’ becomes the main focus for the most destructive, devastating attack within their arsenal. The power of his drill is the ultimate reproduction of their burning desires and hot blooded souls, souls which both scream for the destruction of those that stand in their way. Calling forth the drill is the first step, anywhere on the hammer’s head can the mammoth spinning cone shaped drill form. Next comes the high speed rotation, as unbelievable RPMs are achieved by the monolithic spiral a turbulent wind storm is created by such a mass being rotated like so.
Finally, a large portion of Atsuma’s Reiatsu is swallowed up into the core of the spinning symbol of death. 10% is the proportion Atsuma must give up into the drill before a deadly strike can be executed; additionally any absorbed energy from the enemy is added into the drill as well.
With the enemy(s) in their sights a devastating strike is then performed, either it be a all or nothing downward hammer blow or a lance like thrust, just as long as the drill is forced towards the enemy. Upon contact or command the spinning reiatsu within the drill explodes outwards, funneled through the tapered tip of the drill at first to focus the energy forward before the entire drill explodes for a full release. Such an attack isn’t discriminatory towards friend or foe once released; anything standing in the path of the drill’s attack is subject to destruction.
Bankai Attacks:
[Valkyrie’s Cry] In her full Valkyrie form Rasenshiko is a fearsome battle maiden, and like any warrior her battle cry is one that cannot be ignored, and at her full size such an amazing voice holds phenomenal power. As her armored wraith like form draws in a deep breath a small vacuum is created and a silence is created in the wake, as if the God’s above are quieting all around in order to hear her voice. Simultaneously, before the release of her scream she forces Reiatsu into her throat in order to be released to empower the sound wave. At the cost of 10% of Atsuma's reiatsu.
Without warning she then releases her howl towards the enemy in front of her, a voice unlike any other creates nothing but disarray and devastation before her. The sound pressure created is well beyond the threshold of pain, a literal distortion is created in the area directly in front of the wave her voice creates. The wave of sound and pressure is enough to pulverize those within close proximity (about 15 yards ) that are below 1/3 of Atsuma’s reiatsu. The wave is directional, meaning it travels straight and spreads outwards from wherever Ominokotso is facing.
Those at equal level to Atsuma that are hit with the wave of sound experience a variety of effects. The hearing is the first to be assaulted by such a terrible yet beautiful shout, the eardrum no doubt rupturing and causing semi if not full lose of hearing. Secondly, their equilibrium is completely thrown off track, causing severe disorientation and nausea. Finally, the sound pressure hits them body like a near invisible truck, if not guarded against fully the pressure could shake one down to their bones causing them to crack and their blood vessels to split asunder throughout their body.
Spiral Shift – Rasen ten’i By expanding 5% Reiatsu Atsuma can shift Kanaduchi’s massive body to any location within 100 yards of his current location. The Valkyrie appears in this new place in a spiral of energy, re-forming her body just long enough to execute one attack before she immediately returns to Atsuma. The speed at which the transfer happens is dependent on Atsuma's hohou. (Note – The draining field remains with Atsuma during the shift)

Masked Shikai Attacks:
Rasen Zetsumei (Spiral Death)- When masked, an unbelievable amount of raw destructive force becomes available to Atsuma. Utilizing the unstable power of his inner spiral, Atsuma must first manifest the largest drill Rasenshiko’s frame can handle. The maxed out Rasen Hana is then boosted by Atsuma’s hollow side; this power is forced from within into the whirling cone of metal. The hollow energy then permeates throughout the drill, soaking deep into every molecule. Once charged, the drill abrupt locks itself up.
Identifying his target(s) comes but a second before the attack is initiated.
Upon command the cone violently cracks then explodes into 15 miniature sized versions of the core drill, each one spinning maliciously and packed with volatile energy. Each small weapon has a target marked; using Atsuma’s mental focus on the enemy as a guide the drills fly towards them. The initial explosion serves as their main source of propulsion, though each drill is lured to their target as if magnetized by their reiatsu signature. Once coming into contact with an enemy the drill bores itself as far as possible into the foe before exploding.
Up to 15 individual targets or just one can be targeted by Spiral Death, and the range each drill can chase an enemy maxes out at 20 meters before the detonate automatically.
Masked Bankai Ability: (Hollowfied version of bankai ability)
Masked Bankai Attacks:
Konpeki Hashira (Azure Pillar)- Atsuma’s hollow side is always attempting to suck the life out of whatever it can, a selfish brat who knows nothing of good or evil, simply trying to satiate her own appetite. Atsuma, when masked, can use this selfishness to his advantage utilizing his existing ban kai ability. The blue flames which lick the area around him and Rasenshiko are augmented in an attempt to maximize their draining effects.
When focused the entire field of flames lessen in size depending on the number of pillars as they are focused and condensed, when released the flames erupt forth from the ground in the shape of a blue pillar. A lone column is wide enough to engulf a normal sized person, roughly 5’ from one side to the other, and stretches 10’ into the air. The pillar burns for one round before returning back to the wide spread flames prior to activating this attack. Friend of foe alike can be caught in the flames, and even if the full body isn’t, any reasonable contact will still create the same effect. ( I.E arms, legs, zanpakutou). The fiery pillar doesn’t burn the opponent; but simply sucks the life from them and ejects it out into the ether.

Inner Hollow Personality: Atsuma's inner hollow is that of passive and persuasive type. Though his lust for destruction is that of any other hollow, it's a lot more control of itself, however the moment Atsuma gives in is the moment he will try and take over.
