Welcome to Even Bet!
Even Bet is a game of luck and a tiny bit of logic/skill (including being able to add small numbers.) Since this is a new concept for most of you all (except Ebilkitty), I will have a sample round done with my own mules/family members as an example. The event will last about 2 or 3 weeks, and any daily points you get will be added on to a final score tally!
Event Bet is a game run on VZones Newhorizone with dice rolling, and I think it would work very well here! Let's give it a try!

Rules, Instructions, Scoring, and Disclaimers
arrow Every day, I will post a new question about a roll of Seven 6-sided Dice which I will be rolling about 24 hours (give or take) after the time the question is asked.
arrow For the 24 hours (or so) after a new question is posted, each person can reply to the thread and make a guess. The guess will be in number form (see sample round.)
arrow PLEASE try to make your guess after reading the question but BEFORE reading what other people have guessed! It's not as fun/fair to go off other people's guesses!
arrow About a day after the question is posted, I will roll Seven 6-sided Dice, and then post the true answer to the question which the Dice Roll revealed, and announce points won.
arrow For every guess that's exactly right, you get 5 points; 3 points for being one number away, and 1 point for being two numbers away. No points are awarded for guesses more than 2 numbers away from the real answer.
arrow Scores will be tallied here on the first page, and at the end of the two (or so) weeks, the top 4 scorers will win gold!
arrow 1st Place=1000g ; 2nd Place=750g ; 3rd Place=500g ; 4th Place=250g
arrow Only ONE account per person may guess for each question! If you guess from a mule account one day, credit will be awarded to your main ID. (so, no need to switch accounts if you're not on a main, but please don't submit more than one guess per question!)
arrow After each question has had its dice roll, I will go in and EDIT the question post to let others know it's no longer the current question!
arrow If there is a tie after all rounds are completed, players will roll One 20-sided Die as a tie-breaker.
arrow If you miss a day of guessing, that's ok. Even those who guess for the day might not get any points!
arrow If I miss a day of adding a new question, due to being out of town, that's ok too; you all will just have more time to guess for that round.

(Wow, unexpected roll! Had someone guessed 6, they would have gotten 5 points!)
IMPORTANT- Even though I used mules to guess, that was ONLY for this sample round as an example. For the real game, please only make one guess per person for each question! (see rules above)

See? Sometimes the dice can be unpredictable and surprise everybody, or nobody will get points!
Feel free to ask questions. And you'll kind of learn as you go and get more used to it as time goes on!

(This question counts for the dice roll I will make sometime tomorrow! Everybody please make a guess and try not to check what other people guessed until after you've made yours!)
