The Zoid Hangar is a massive cavern in the mountain housing every Zoid at Mount Hoverla, Ground, Aerial, and Gustav. Here, the Pilots prepare for combat. At the rear is the maintenance bay. On the ceiling hang the Zabats, with catawalks running between them. The Hangar is open to the outside, but has a massive set of thick blast doors that can be closed in case of seige. There is no real organization on the floor. The Pilots put their Zoids with the Zoids of members of their unit.

The Hangar is the largest man-made space in the world, capable of holding all three Ultrasaurus'. At the moment, only the Ultra-Destroyer is inside, way in the back.

Emerald walked into the hanger listening to her music. The bass could be heard through the earphones. That was how loud it was. She watched as the people moved away from her path. They knew why she was called Screwdriver. Her first day on the base she stabbed a coworker through the hand with a screwdriver because he touched her tools right after she told him not to. She had almost lost her job over it but a pilot told the big man not to discharge her. She still didn't know to this day which pilot it was. She finally stopped at Ryan's zoid as he was coming down. She paused her music to catch what he said. She looked at the damage and frowned. "Idiot you shouldn't pilot either with the damage you have. It's light and I should be done in a couple hours. Stop being so ******** cocky Deadeye. It's too damn early for this." She was really cranky when she hadn't had her coffee.

Emerald gripped her well known screw driver suddenly having the urge to stab the cocky son of a b***h. One of the other mechanics saw her hand gripping the screw driver and he ran up to Ryan."Um sir I suggest you don't anger Screwdriver... She stabbed someone right through the hand on her first day here three years ago. That's why she has that call sign." Emerald shot a glare at the other mechanic and he ran off quickly. She climbed up the ladder and pulled out scanner to assess the damage. Well she smiled for it was only surface damage and not wiring or the computer chips or anything of that matter. She slid down the ladder and looked at the pilot. "You're lucky it's surface damage and not internal or I would've cursed your a** out. Helcats eh? Must've been fun. I've only seen them in text books when I was at the academy."

Emerald already had hermusic back on so she could ignored the idiot next to her. She grabbed her weilding helmet and sheets of metal. they were taken to the top of the zoid along with the weilding instrument. She climbed back up the ladder of the zoid with her box of tools. One of the male mechanics chuckled as she climbed up."I see Screwdriver didn't have her coffee this morning. She's normally cheerful." Emerald was busy weilding on the new peices of metal to the zoid. Then she would have to smooth out the seams so when it was repainted there wouldn't be any bumps in the paint.

Emerald had just finished with the weilding job as she happened to hear what the pilot said to one of the mechanics. She scowled and she threw a wrench at his head. She started to yell at him from on top of his zoid,"Hey asswipe. You are not better than us. You would be going nowhere without us. Who do you thing updates your zoids the devil? We work around the clock so you can ******** shoot things. So shut the ******** up and be grateful. Now where the ******** is my coffee guys!"

Emerald chuckled at the fact that he thought they only worked in eight hour shifts that didn't exist.,"Hey stupid! Eight hour shifts don't exist here. It's more like fourteen to eighteen hour shifts for us because of all the work. So you can kiss my a**. Also I am tempted to throw something at you again."She climbed down the ladder and someone handed her a cup of coffee. She sipped it and sighed happily.

Emerald chuckled as she sipped her coffee."It's true that the policy states that but it's void when you don't have enough workers. That I know of there's only five real mechanics here I myself included. The ones with degrees. Then four or five who are interning to get their degrees and the others think bubblegum fixes everything. So eight hours for us and the interns is impossible." She watched as he inspected his zoid. She conitnued, "All you need is fresh paint and she's good as new. Though next time,I might have to do a speed update your's is a bit slow for a sniper. Anyway's the name is Emerald "Screwdriver" McGrew The youngest Mechanic at EU been here for three years." She was in a much cheerful mood since she had her coffee. The men walking by were blushing.

Emerald giggled and was in a cheerful mood. alot of the male mechanics liked her alot but they didn't have the nerve to talk to her due to her cranky side. "We have alot of mechanics sure . It's just they don't get enough sleep sometimes that well they make simple errors. Trust me one time there was a battle one time that went on for days... Well enough about that." She smiled as she spoke much more bubbily and sweeter now. "Well what do you think of the repairs? I will do a full body scan to make sure there isn't anymore damage with your permission of course." She looked over her shoulder as a female came running up to her."That pervert is back ma'am! I was about to go the the locker room to store my tools and take a shower when- Oh Mister pilot." Emerald sighed that fool was on her team for when she had to out to battle. She put her hand to her face and grumbled,"I am going to kill that b*****d. I have told him countless times..I got it. I'll handle him on my lunch break."
