Well, I'm a little anxious to get started =D
Are we awaiting new tests, or may I just post my character in and proceed from there?

Probably new tests Jazz. We're planning to change the class names, which potentially means new type choices, and we're also at some point going to work on filling the vacant position of "Professor #3".
So I suppose that does potentially mean new class tests as well.
On a side note, I must say I like what you've done with the Auditorium LunLun.

Jazz, Yay, I am glad you are excited, but renovation isn't over with yet. And, yes, I am going to have to change the entry exam, but tomorrow at some time.
Grey,Thanks for the compliment. Though that isn't the only change I am working on .....in terms of the school arrangement. What do you think about the fact that the student can have land from the beginning instead of having to buy it over time. Also, the dorms are gone ...they will live with their pokemon at the Pokelot.

I do vote in favor of the land from the beginning with room for upgrades decision. I think it's a good idea which should help keep students...happier. I do however have some qualms with the food/water system and the EXP variation.
Part of that is likely due to not knowing the full scope of the details however.
Still, I think there's likely a bit of room for tweaking/adjustments on that one.
Speaking of renovations, I'd very much like to know what I can do around here to help with that. xp

Well, I had to change the Exp system ...there were pokemon that were growing much too strong simply from being left on the land. Which was a serious problem in my mind ...especially when the pokemon seem to grow much slower with their trainer in such a situation.

Alright, I have to admit I can't argue with that logic entirely. Some of Jazz's pokemon got quite the dramatic boost in power, and I ended up with a Level 16 Sableye when I'd only used him in actual combat once.
Admitedly some of my other pokemon got boosted...but considering Phantom's track recording of losing horribly I'm not sure it counts...
Anyway my complaint wasn't the change on the whole. The loss of type requirement is good, and with it the loss of certain pokemon gaining full EXP due to dual typing is also good.
My primary complaint is that the EXP gain seems a tad uneven. I mean it goes from 1, to 5, to 1/2. 1 is basically nothing, while 1/2 gain end up being a rather substantial amount. Additionally while the first two are basically set in stone, 1/2 can fluctuate wildly.

True, I thought about that .....but, since that starter land has a -10 hp for not having the right requirements. Which means for most people ...their pokemon could die in like 2 battles, or while they are on a long mission ...I figure it would have enough of a draw back to make it not very popular.
Though I think I made the Hp too high for the second land, and it probably should be something like -2 instead of -5.
Pretty much the difficult goes up for the amount of work you have to spend on the land. The first one is safe, there is no work needed, and your pokemon won't die due to neglect.
The second land, you have to see about it, but not as much ....
The third land needs almost constant tending, and for this reason ...it would actually effect how long a trainer can stay away from home. In other words, they would have to be careful about the mission they pick ...if the food system works out alright as well.

Seems everyone is waiting with baited breath. ....actually, with consideration to how much free time I have on my hands, anyone that's settled on the appearance for their character can now get a free Overworld Sprite like the one I made for my own character!
