It was annoying work, Hephaistos had wandered the camps asking Senshi after Senshi for a description of their powers. He hardly knew anyone besides Flora, and right off the bat he knew his quest would not require her talents. Not to be rude but he needed someone with a bit more fire behind their powers. Someone surely would be able to use a power based on heat, or better fire. That would put that damn squid in its place.
That was what lead him to Gunn, or would as he approached the other Senshi, a strange bottle of liquor in one hand, a piece of cloth in his other hand. "Pardon me Miss, but you wouldn't happen to have the time to answer a question for me?" They stood in the shadow of the main Zodiac tower, the same building Hephaistos had previously fought inside of along side the princess, Civilians, and another Senshi called Themis. "I'm looking for senshi with a unique talent, something involving heat or fire." He held up the bottle and cloth, "I'm going space monster hunting, cleaning house if ya will and I'm afraid I just don't know anyone with the kind of kick I need to help me kill this damn thing." It was clear he had a bit to drink, not a lot, but it was enough to make his attitude almost cocksure about his plan.

She didn't want to go back to Gunn yet. The redheaded senshi didn't think she even could go back to her comet; it'd only been two days since Zephyr had found her hiding in her house and dragged her off to help the damn Zodiacs. She didn't want to help the civilians; they all hated her, and she'd ended up hiding in Chronos Castle to stop one of them from screaming about the arsonist. Gunn wasn't helping anyone by being there. She didn't want to be there... Gunn sighed, and took a deep breath--
Was that vodka?
She turned to look at the approaching senshi. Male, taller than she was, and carrying liquor and cloth. "Of course," she said begrudgingly; and then she sighed and looked away. A unique talent involving heat or fire? "Is this a joke," she asked, disbelief coloring her tone. But then, she didn't know this senshi. It was entirely possible he might be new to the city.
"I'm Eternal Sailor Gunn," she said, "Senshi of Wildfires. Is that firey enough?" It was a rhetorical question. She brushed off the back of her skirt as she stood, the wingbow shimmering in the soft starlight. "You're too drunk to go hunting monsters."

"Nope. Not a joke. Dead Serious. Tentacle monster made of frost bite and cold, what hurts it the most? Heat and fire." He held up the cloth and vodka giving them a shake. "This was plan B after I used my attack... s'not the best attack, but it managed to help drive the thing off earlier with the Princess' help."
Slowly he bowed holding the space vodka wide as he did before standing up, "A pleasure Gunn, my name is Sailor Hephaistos, Senshi of Metalcraft. As the Senshi of Wildfires I'd say your more then capable of helping with this... though we might need to be a bit careful depending on if the monster got into the library or somewhere else..." Of course he paused at her remark of his current state, he glanced at the bottle still sealed and frowned ever so slightly.
"Ehhh, not that drunk.Yet. If we don't find it we can share this lovely bottle of... what ever this label says. I don't know how to read moon speak."

She peered into the bottle for just a second. Space vodka. "Mein gott," she grumbled, running her fingers through her hair. Being drunk at all ought to throw you out of your senshi form, she thought, but she didn't know for sure. The redheaded senshi shook her head, hard, sending her loose bangs flying about over icey blue eyes.
The mention of a tentacle monster was a bit distressing, she wasn't sure how she should feel about it. Could there be similar beasties on Gunn? She hadn't seen a sign of them, not yet... But that didn't mean they weren't there. Sometimes she did feel like she was sensing something...
"Let's go, then. Must protect the civilians. Let's try to stay out of sight, though." She picked her way over some rubble, goldenrod-colored ribbons trailing after her. "They get distressed to see me."

Drunk or not, the place was magic in ways he himself didn't understand, though today had been the first time he had been drinking while powered up. Let alone how long he had been running around like this and using his powers between fits of rest he actually felt okay out in space.
"German right?" He shrugged at her brief switch of tongue before pausing to think for a moment. "Italiano anche?" It was a bit odd bumbling for words he hadn't used since high school but he got them out none the less.
Moving aside he took a moment to note that even when she seemed grumpy she was at least rather cute. Still it struck him as a bad idea to hit on anyone who's magical powers involved a phrase like wildfire in it. He wasn't drunk enough for that yet.
"Off we shall go then Lady Gunn." Slowly he started towards the main temple of Chronos and her Zodiacs, veering off towards the gardens near the library with intent to check outside before diving right back into the same hall they had first met the creature in. "They don't all take kindly to us. I haven't had too much trouble but I've been um..." he paused, a cowered? A fool who abused his powers to get around town quicker like a joke? Both? "Less then active," he simply stated as he kicked at a shadow cast by a tree, even moving the branches to ensure the shadow moved away properly rather then linger strangely.
