The Family:

Tacitus: (Normal Brown Male) Tacitus is competely blind. He was born that way, as a result he was abused by his father and eventually driven off. He relies on his sense of smell and touch to "see". He dislikes loud noises as they throw off his sense of direction. He can read but only if the lettering is raised and distinct. He speaks, but only slowly and raspy due to damage to his vocal cords.

Rina: (Female Half breed) Rina has a similar story to Tact. She was abused for being a half breed by her demonic father. She in the past has used her feminine wiles to get herself into trouble (two other children from another breeding). She loves Tact, even though sometimes he wonders why.

Renatus: (Brown Halfbreed Male) Renatus is Rina and Tact's oldest offpsring. Tact was relieved when his oldest son was graced with at least a little gift of vision (he is missing his eye on the far side). Ren has very bad depth perception and is quite clumsy sometimes.

Scowl: (Gray Halfbreed Male) Younger and now middle boy, Scowl lacks vision like Tact, he resents his father for this curse.

Redemption: (Demonic winged girl) Your middle sister.

Vita: (Normal girl) Your youngest sister.

??: (Angelic girl) Oldest girl. She could be yours~

Notes: Be prepared that the children of this breeding could either have, full vision,one eye, or no eyes at all with no hope of ever being able to see.

Note of the Second: Rina is a member of the Hale family, which is Huge. Your girl will have a ton of other cousins and the like.

Name: Lamia, meaning "vampire" in Latin and "fiend" in Arabic.
Bio:

She is a freak. Horrible, ghastly vision. No hope of ever being 'normal'. Nope, she'd never be called pretty, or nice or anything like that. Because she's a freak. Stupid single wing, it's like some sort of joke. All those normals dreaming of possesing wings, yet she'll never fly. The reality of it all twisting her humor until it becomes as dark as her fur. Bah, who'd want that anyway? Life's so much more...interesting this way. A spoonfull of gloom, a cup of sarcastic humour and a sprinkle of genuine happiness. Stir all that together and you get Lamia. Not like anyone cares enough to see past her deformities. Cause no one wants to look and see she is sweet, and caring, and funny, if you dig down deep enough. But no, all they see is the ghastly vision and the stupid one wing.

(basically she's gloomy and sarcastic with a twisted sense of humour. She cares a lot about to those who are close to her...but they're are a bit scarse right now)

Name :: Horatia. Origin is Latin/Roman, the meaning is "has good eyesight". Since it's impossible to tell whether she inherited her father's curse or not until she emerges from her bowl, it's a wish as much as it is a name.

Personality :: Tia holds a tight control over her emotions, to the point where she seems uncertain about how to properly act when situations call for a reaction. Sometimes she feigns reactions and attempts to keep her complete indifference hidden behind a mask, and other times she doesn't even bother to pretend she doesn't care. She's not emotionally dead, just a bit self-centered and self-conscious. To those she knows and cares for, Tia is capable of acts of great generousity, and will often give more than she recieves. Half the time she craves company and half the time she craves total solitude. She is easily irritable, for while she is quite patient in a lot of areas she does not suffer fools or idiots, and will occasionally lash out verbally, or move (far) away from the source of her irritation. Tia is not easy to anger, however, and few could ever push her to such a state for it is then that she has the potential to become violent. It is a strong emotional reaction, and Tia attempts to supress such things. Grudges and hatred are other examples of emotions she rarely indulges in, although she is subject to bouts of resentment from time to time.

Views on vision :: Blind - Tia doesn't blame her father for her lack of sight. Having known nothing but darkness her whole life, she doesn't even think about it all that much. It just is, as much a part of her and something taken for granted as those with sight take their vision for granted. Occasionally it frustrates her, when she encounters the language barrier (Red? Shaped like a dragon? Fluffy?), but she does her best to learn and never gives up. Tia spends a lot of time with her dad and Scowl, trying to absorb their knowledge.

Limited - Tia moves very slowly and deliberately. She has to, to save herself injury when her vision is limited to only one side of her body. She protects that side fiercely and is very careful about putting her only eye in any kind of danger, for she knows what sight is and is afraid to lose it. Cautious, even when she wishes a fit of temper she holds her tongue and emotions in check 'lest she annoy someone who decides to take revenge, and feels like blinding her would make her an easy target. Though she borders on the obsessive when it comes to her sight, Tia can often be found sitting alone or moving tentatively around with her eye closed, strengthening her other senses in the event that the worst does happen. She feels a great kinship with Renatus since he, too, has only one eye. She empathizes with Scowl's resentment of their father but is hesitant to share this with her brother for fear he scorn her (after all, she has some vision), so while she feels a kinship with him as well she also feels a little awkward around him. While she resents her father on occasion, Tia still loves him and often asks his advice in how to get around without sight.

Full - Tia is in turns protective and awkward around the males in her family. She knows they're all older than her and can take care of themselves quite nicely without her coddling them, but can't help feeling like they do have to be taken care of. Around her father she is a bit more relaxed, often asking questions and trying to "see" from his point of view. With Renatus she is often torn between whether to walk on his blind side so as to cover him or to walk within his sight so he knows where she is. She tries to keep his blind spot in mind at all times, but otherwise treats him like he's normal. Around Scowl is when she feels most awkward. She knows that he resents their father for his "curse", and fears that he might resent her as well because she can see when he can't. She gets very shy and soft-spoken whenever he's around.

View on family :: The bits on her sight covers how she views her father and brothers. For her sisters, Tia will feel a bit more protective and responsible over them since she is the oldest in the brood. How she treats them individually depends on their eyesight and hers, but generally she'll have the air of a good-natured guardian who will put up with all manner if indignities for the sake of family. Tia isn't entirely sure about her mother; sometimes she just doesn't understand her at all and sometimes she feels like her mother is a kindred spirit. You don't have to like someone to love them though, so even Tia comes to the conclusion that she can't stand her mother in concentrated doses she will always love her, and Rinas' words will always carry weight like any mothers' would.
