The year is Universal New Century 195. Mankind, freed by newfound resources has begun to move its growing population into space. One by one, colonies have been founded, five, each at Gaia's 5 Lagrange points. However, the Gaia Sphere Alliance soon extends its control to the colonies, subjecting them to a swift decisive war using their mobile suits. However, the colonies were able to establish a new base upon Aries, the red planet where the G.S.A. are unable to assault. In retaliation, the extremist Vorn Heil faction, hidden within the Alliance unleashed five swift brutal attacks upon the colonies. Of these five colonies, only one person of military age, all teenagers survived from each. These children fled to mars along with the remaining refugees, where they disappeared from the public eye soon after arrival. At the start of this new year, under the guise of shooting stars, five mobile suits and their pilots, the teenagers who had disappeared are sent to Gaia, in order to liberate the repopulated colonies and Aries from the threat of the G.S.A.

The Gundams and Major Political Figures
Gundam A-01 "Morningstar"
Designed as the ultimate tacticians mobile suit, the Morningstar is given balanced armament, consisting of the heavy pattern standard beam rifle and its signature weapon, a fully controllable intelligent morning star that is convertable to an enegy shield and beam sword, outfitted with medium armour and a specialised system allowing the user to see the battlefield in real time. It is the most balanced of all the Gundams, capable of all range combat. Its pilot hails from the first colony that was destroyed, which was struck by the artificial meteor weapon Lucifuge-1, compromising the colonies life support and gravity.
Gundam A-02 "Plaguebearer"
A specialised stealth suit, the plaguebearer is outfitted with an experimental hologram cloak, radar baffler and pathogen delivery system, designed to allow it to infiltrate and infect the enemy before battle. Its armament consists of a beam sickle for close combat and a controllable triple chain whip capable of issuing corrosive agents for long range combat. It is designed for early infiltration and prolonged battles of attrition. Its pilots colony was affected by the highly destructive bioweapon known as the Creeping Death, wiping out nearly every one of its inhabitants
Gundam A-03 "Scissorman"
Equipped with twin scissorswords and heavy armour, Scissorman is the ultimate close combat specialist with the option to exchange one of its swords for a standard pattern machine cannon when the need is felt. Its scissorswords are capable of penrating any known armour or energy shields and in the right hands are some of the fastest, deadliest close combat weapons on record. Its pilots colony was wiped out by the experimental combat sattelite known as "The Sword of Damocles", which in effect bisected the colony, rapidly killing the vast majority of its population.
Gundam A-04 "Lightning Lord"
The Lightning Lord is armed with the highly experimental and effective Storm Suite, a prototype weapon and defense system thought lost. It consists of a network of drones, each capable of generating part of a shield network shaped by the users command or unleashing vast deadly arcs of lightning which can be varied into either a rapid fire wall of strikes or great destructive blasts of ball lightning. The suit is also equipped with a rapid fire beam pistol and a distinctive lightning lance that can direct the suits current. The Vorn Heil factions infiltrators programmed the central colony power plant of this suits pilot, causing most of its population to die in great lightning storms or electrocuted in their own homes.
Gundam A-05 "Vulkan"
The ultimate heavy weight suit, the Vulkan is given the heaviest armour, to support its mass of firepower. Equipped with a heavy beam cannon on its right arm and equipped with a gravity hammer on its left, the vulcan is also outfitted from head to toe with vulkan cannons wherever there is a spare surface. Its chest, head, shoulders, even the lower legs are host to a vulcan cannon pod, causing the Vulkan to be a slow but implacable force. When the Vorn Heil launched their attack, they concentrated their main firepower upon this pilots colony, decimating with orbital strikes and flyovers from mobile suits, targetting anywhere life could remain.
