Come in! Free from the patch!
Atop the roof of Syrcaid's toy factory-turned-home and bioengineering lab, there's a patch where fruits and vegetables are grown. This year, the fall harvest was particularly bountiful... and sentient! Needless to say, she couldn't do with all these gourds and squash about the place that may very well live longer than expected.
In any case, they're still probably edible... but really, would you really want to eat them? Really? They may or may not be composed of just vegetable matter anymore!
