Region; Hoenn Location; Lilycove
Moirai had spent the last week on the beach of Lilycove while enjoying a little trip about Hoenn. The island had been his home..born and raised in Mauville..a place he swore never to return to. Well almost never; that damned little city was too entertaining for its own good, and the need to feel nostalgic drew Moirai back occasionally for short visits. Still at that moment he was there and living in the now of things and the vibe of the beach. His arms buried in cool sand and feet buried in the mud and tide; salty cold ocean water seeping up to lap at his calves as he lay there and soaked up the sun like an overfed slowpoke.
Moirai was only vaguely aware of his surroundings; the normally attentive male enjoying his own sun dazed state and the lack of stress it brought. If only he could have laid there in the sun forever..or at least for another hour..Moirai knew he burned like nothing else, and as enjoyable as the sand was right then it wouldn't last. He would get bored, itchy, and go off seeking something else to occupy his time with.
The Ralts own soft sigh ruffling the fringe of his green bangs as he shifted deeper into the sand and watched the water come up a little higher around his legs.

While some were enjoying the hot sun, others were not... such as Felek. The Piplup wasn't a fan of warm weather. Mild weather was fine, but... if the sun was bright and unclothed... it put a damper to the penguin's already frigid personality. Walking through the town, gliding almost, one wouldn't be able to tell the man's discomfort. He maintained the same expression he always did; straight-faced, stoic, and at the same time distant. Disconnected was another good word. It kept others at bay, just how he liked it. No drawn attention, no confrontations that were meaningless and brief. With the weather as it was, he no longer wore his gorgeous cloak, as it only condensed the heat to his body with it's heavy wingspan. Without it, his single un-humanistic physical feature was revealed... a tiny, stubby, fluffy tail right below his lower back. To him, it was nothing to really care about, but for others, well... he gained attention he was unaware of. As he'd pass by those going about their daily business, there would be a few snickers and giggles, quiet enough for him not to really react. Not that he would anyway. Why would he care? His goal at the moment was getting somewhere cool... unfortunately in this city, that wasn't very easy... but at least there was a sea.. an ocean he could feel at home by. Or as close to home, anyway... He drew closer to the shore, walking calmly down the stairs, gazing to the lapping water longingly. How good it must feel to swim in it... to feel like you were weightless, in an endless world... there wasn't any time for daydreaming though, as his attention was quickly caught to the sight of a figure just further down the shore. Drat.... internally frowning, Felek stopped in his place, staring down to the relaxing Ralts. Well... he could have that water... and the Piplup would have this water! Stubbornly, Felek simply turned and walked towards the water. He walked right into it, boots and all on. It felt good, anyway... like how it would when he was in the water as a tiny penguin, its cool sensation clinging onto him. Besides, he could make the water suck right off his clothes in an instant. Staring off into the open horizon, watching the waves gallop closer, and dive down, he allowed his mind the privilege to semi-drift off... while the rest of it kept tabs on that other character down the way...
