Imbuing an object to make it able to steal energy apparently wasn't as straightforward as it looked like. Uranophane had certainly made it look easy enough, but this s**t didn't come with an handbook.
That, or Zinkenite had forgotten to give it to her.
They'd made temporary headquarters on top of a bar - with a bunch of normal-looking table decorations hoarded up. That was because they were still normal, and Fluorite was staring one down like if it might have been an enemy senshi.
Alunite was perched a bit further up, sitting and waiting. His own job was simple - he had to plant said objects when Fluorite was done with them... Which didn't look like it was happened.
"I thought we were doing this thing somewhere this century ?" He said, amused.
"Feel free to enlighten me any day now then, oh wise one." Fluorite shot him a glare, clearly unamused by her brother's teasing. Her skill as a general was kind of on the line, here !
...Through, given that it was her first night out as a general, one probably shouldn't have asked too much.

"Are you two trying to get interrupted?" A wide, lazy grin flashed across her freckled features, as she planted a hand on the railing of the roof, easily vaulting over. It hadn't taken her long to adjust to her new abilities, and the increased speed, strength, and reflexes were beginning to feel like second nature.
"Try 'n bicker louder, why don't you," Of course, it was the energy trace in her neighborhood, not the snark, that had drawn her. Her dark eyes were locked on Fluorite, for a long moment, then shifted to the senshi. One of theirs, of course. She'd heard about the difference. Both of them had energy signatures that nearly smothered hers entirely... That was new. At least on Fluo's end.
"Top dog, now, hm? Congrats, boss." A hand stretched out in congratulations, before she lifted her chin toward the lounging senshi. "Lieutenant Howlite. It's a pleasure."

"That's probably my fault. I should have taught him how to shut up better." It was Fluorite's turn to be amused, giving a slight bow at Howlite went the congratulations went out. "It's a good feeling, Howlie."
Well, not the very instant it happened to you, but she didn't see a need to state the obvious.
And now it was Alunite's turn to glare, through he suddenly seemed curious - Fluorite was talking to this one much differently than she talked to other agents - going so far as to nickname her ?
"Alunite." He introduced himself in turn. No sailor no anything, just Alunite - through the wing ribbons at his back made it obvious which rank he was.

"If I remember right, recruitment was a b***h, so I reckon it wasn't too good a feeling," The blonde's reckless grin grew wider, brows raised. "Unless, of course, you're in to that sort of thing, which is hot."
Blowing her pale bangs from dark eyes, she took the opportunity to glance over the items. Golly gee, that was familiar. "Trolling for suckers, huh? Or, you calling a mulligan on the diner?" She laughed. "I'll make a note not to accept any 'innocent' gifts from you, Fluo."
Alunite's glare didn't even seem to penetrate the lanky girl's relaxed air, and she sent him a coolly amused glance. "Cat got your tongue, handsome, or are you always so dark and mysterious?" What a grump.

"Not unless you're into feeling like you were ripped apart cell by cell and then put back together afterward." She looked completely serious, for a moment, but then just grinned. "Worth it, through."
If Zinkenite made love like he promoted, she wasn't jealous of Ilmenite at all, through.
"Howlie honey, I have wanted to do this ever since I've seen Serandite do it as a wee little lieutenant, you have no damn idea. Through, it didn't come with an handbook."
....PPFFFFTTTTTT "Dark and mysterious FFFFFFFF-" Yeah, Fluorite just lost it.
"I get the feeling im missing something here..." Alunite finally did jump down from his perch, landing easily on his feet. "And well, I was under the impression we were trying to do some energy-gathering here..."

"Maybe it did," Howlite's brows raised innocently. "Are you sure you didn't leave it in the Rift? Perhaps at the library?" A nod toward their recent trip to the hilarious, yet frightening, youma town. There was no doubt they'd be going back.
As Fluorite's composure crumbled, and she began to laugh, Howlite got the impression that there was a little more between the senshi and general than immediately apparent. She seemed to take pleasure in the taunts.
The puffy little guy jumped down, and immediately began party-pooping. "Well, I reckon she's got to figure out the item part of it first. Me? I already made my rounds for the night. I was actually about to get a drink."

"Maybe..." Fluorite managed in between laughter fits, but then finally seemed to calm down, wiping a tear with one gloved hand. "Oh, god... Okay... Alunite, this is Howlite. Howlie, this is my brother. Yes, the brother you're thinking about. I only got one."
Alunite rose an eyebrow, head tilting to the side to look at Fluorite. She didn't usually mentioned it like this... "Do I know her, Fluo ?" Glamour was a funny thing, really.
"Well, im not beyond a drink once the job's done..."

"Oh, hey, bro." That lopsided grin. "Ribs are doing better!" Not the attitude, though.
It'd been awhile since she'd seen him, and he was typically in a better mood. Of course, he'd been geeking out at the time, with good ol' Seabass. Howl saw a lot more of Fluo, these days, both powered up and at the diner.
Alunite didn't ask Howlite who she was, so she didn't provide the information, instead hunkering down to peer at the odd assortment of items.
"Alright. Let's do this." A glance to Fluorite. "Maybe it'll help if we all hold hands." Snigger.

Poor Alunite was looking more and more confused. "Who are you, then ?" He finally asked the magic words, before grinning at her next words.
"Maybe if we sing something right out of carebears, too. Something about friendship and love and bullshit."
Well, that was a little more like the Matthew Kess knew.
"Don't make me punt the two of you off the building." Fluorite was smiling, through, until she started focusing on the menu card in her hand again. "Come on..."

"Kess," it was a lowered tone, habitual, as it was a secret. She stuck her hand out to him again, wiggling her brows. "Want to hold hands, now?"
Turning her head, to glance at Fluorite, she mused, more serious. "But really, though. You can use our energy, too, right? Maybe it'd help you."
They could puzzle it out, for sure!

At least he had the common sense not to go KESS WHAT THE HELL. "It's... been awhile..." He did finally take her hand, through now it wasn't like he had to explain what he was up to, wasn't he ?
Awkward.
"Im not doing that." Fluorite muttered. "I need both of you at peak condition... Ah !"
The 'ah' happened when she felt some energy slip out of her fingertips - and the other two corrupted beings could feel that energy come from the object briefly before it faded. "I think I got it !" She reached out for another drink card.

"I can see why. You've been busy!" The blonde shot Alunite a wink as they shook hands, like comrades [she really hadn't been serious about holding it. Wouldn't that have looked silly?], and let him go, moving closer to the objects as one flared in her some part of her awareness.
"I... I felt that. I reckon it worked." There were a lot of objects to choose from, though. "Start small, alright? Wouldn't want you to overdo it..."
Clapping her hands together, she raised her brows. "So, what's the plan? We drop these suckers off and get a beer?"

"Pretty much... But im not sure what'll happen if we try to handle them non-powered..." The next card was imbued. Start small. Four was small, right ?
I mean, it had to be worth her while too. "So I was just thinking about removing as much of the uniform as I can and going inside. Alunite's not too good with that." Something about holes, who would have thought. "He's here to wreck faces if a senshi comes up while im gathering."
"You know, if they're not all chilling in space or something." He shrugged. "Through a beer would be damn nice."
Damn. He was half-tempted to see how fast he could teleport....
"...Through..." Now she had an idea. "Would you mind doing it ? I can just teleport us into the bathroom than back up there. No fuss.

"No problem." Her outfit looked less... Combative, and was easier to disguise, for another thing. It would be sweet when she could teleport, because running off when senshi decided to ambush you was crappy, no matter how fast you were.
Glancing over to the corrupted senshi, she raised her brows. "I'll grab you something."
She bowed, with a flourish to Fluorite, and held out a hand. "Your will is my command, General."

"Sounds like a plan." He grinned. Really, part of it was just to see his sister's reaction.
"Sure, lightweight. Magical Abuse Under The Influence, smartest idea you've ever had, bro." She rolled her eyes, playfully. She would have been more squarely against it if most of the senshi weren't ******** around in space and if Alunite was actually one of the few senshi with enough magical power to level down ******** buildings.
Four was a good number, really - she felt like she could have swung more, but she might have been overestimating herself. And Howlie had a point - start small.
"I like the sound of that." Fluorite grinned, and once she had taken the blonde's hand in her own gloved one, they were both gone.
